For those who want to enjoy Hokkaido soup curry with a real-time sense in Marunouchi, I recommend this place! I visited a Hokkaido soup curry specialty store in Marunouchi Brick Square. Please note that the minimum base for lunch in the Brick Square dining area is around 1500 yen. "Hokkaido Soup Curry Suage" is a soup curry specialty store founded in 2007 in Hokkaido with the concept of "delicious and easy to eat." They have branches in Shibuya, Kichijoji, and Ikebukuro in Tokyo. I tried the "Crispy Shiretoko Chicken and 7 Vegetable Curry (1630 yen)" where you can choose the soup base, spiciness, rice amount, and toppings. I chose the basic Suage soup and went for the spiciness level of "extra hot." The ingredients included Shiretoko chicken thigh, Inca wake-up (a type of sweet potato), ginseng, pumpkin, eggplant, bell pepper, hard-boiled egg, mizuna greens, and maitake mushrooms. The soup curry is a soup with curry flavor, but I don't compare it to traditional curry. The soup is made with chicken, fruits, kelp, aromatic vegetables, and a strong onion paste to add a mellow flavor. The black herb floating on the soup surface might be dried basil. The Shiretoko chicken thigh on a skewer was easy to eat and enjoyable. The Inca wake-up had a honey-like sweetness and a nutty aroma. The rice was Yukigosen, developed in the Reiwa era, with its large grains and subtle stickiness complementing the soup curry well. I didn't feel much spiciness while eating, but I started sweating a bit after leaving the restaurant. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. #080

The photo shows 15 types of vegetables, chicken tempura, lamb topping, and extra soup. The spiciness level is 6. By registering on the app, you can enjoy various services. The taste is consistently good and ranks in the top 3 in Chiyoda and Chuo wards. It is recommended to have extra soup. You can earn stamps on the app for a loyalty card. With a subscription, you can get one free topping, so it's recommended for those who visit once a month or more.

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time. I finally had the chance to go, and I ordered the crispy Shiretoko chicken with vegetable curry, spiciness level 5, and a small portion of rice. Of course, I also had a Sapporo Classic beer. The chicken was crispy and the vegetables were deliciously soft. The deep-fried vegetables, as the name suggests, were excellent. They paired well with the soup and I definitely want to come back for more! My friend had the chicken leg, which looked delicious as well.

When I go towards Tokyo Station, one of the curry restaurants that I often visit is Suage, known for its soup curry. The taste is consistently good. Adding shrimp soup or squid soup is also delicious, but it's also great to have extra soup and treat the curry like a drink.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. There was a long line in front of the shop. I almost gave up at first, but decided to wait. The authentic Hokkaido soup curry seems to be quite popular! I decided to go all out and ordered the "Luxury Curry" for 1,750 yen. It includes chicken leg and pork belly, a luxurious dish indeed. I added extra soup for 100 yen, chose "Level 4 Spiciness", and opted for "Medium Rice (200g)". It's great that you can customize various aspects of the dish with Hokkaido soup curry. They use "Hokkaido Yukigoshen" rice and "Inca no Mezame" potatoes. First, I tried the soup. Oh, it's delicious. Even better when you dip the rice in it. With the extra soup, I can enjoy it to the fullest. The pork belly is incredibly tasty. It's been simmered to perfection, with a sweet richness from the pork fat. I was delighted to see plenty of deep-fried vegetables. The pumpkin, eggplant, and shimeji mushrooms are all delicious. Skewered on a stick are Chishima chicken, carrots, and Inca no Mezame potatoes. The chicken is flavorful, and the potatoes have a nice earthy taste. Fluffy and delicious. I enjoy the ingredients and then dip the rice in the soup. With the extra soup, I can take a bite, then have two sips of soup without worry. There are Hokkaido soup curry shops popping up all over Tokyo. I've visited a few, but this one left the best impression on me. It's great to be able to enjoy authentic flavors from Hokkaido in Tokyo. Truly a taste of home!

I visited my favorite soup curry restaurant.
[Atmosphere]
- Solo dining is okay, counter seats available
- Might be difficult for groups of 3 or more
- Good turnover, not a place for lingering
[Price]
- Around 1,500 yen
- Additional charges for toppings
- Prices seem to have increased significantly from before
[Order]
- Homemade Zangi and 7 vegetable curry: 1,550 yen
- Changed to shrimp soup: 150 yen
- Spiciness level: 4
Changing to shrimp soup made it slightly milder. The Zangi was incredibly delicious, and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. I've tried other items on the menu, but the Zangi provided the most satisfaction. 😊

Vegetable-packed 12-variety Vegetable Curry (¥1550) at a curry restaurant on the B1 floor of Marunouchi Brick Square. The curry soup is rich and filled with ingredients like maitake mushrooms, eggplant, carrots, potatoes, okra, and other seasonal vegetables. Even without meat, it's satisfying and healthy!

I visited on Sunday night. I ordered the Vegetable Curry Rice with a small portion. On hot days, I always crave curry. Soon, the vegetable-packed Vegetable Curry arrived. It had plenty of mushrooms, avocado, baby corn, potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, tomatoes, and bell peppers. The amount of vegetables was incredible, but the soup was so delicious that I ended up finishing it all without realizing it. This time, I chose the shrimp broth soup, but the original one also looks delicious. I think I want to eat this taste regularly. There were many solo female customers, and the fact that it's easy to enter is also a great point. Thank you for the meal.

Lamb and 8 kinds of vegetables curry (¥1650) at a curry restaurant near Tokyo Station in Brix Square B1. The large portion of deep-fried vegetables and lamb meat is impressive! It is soup curry, so it is best to scoop the rice with a spoon and eat it while soaking it in the soup.

I visited the restaurant around 6:30 pm on a regular day and found that there was seating available. However, customers kept coming in one after another. I decided to order the Suage Special, thinking I should try everything. I chose a spice level of 4, but it was not very spicy. The dish was filled with plenty of vegetables, and there were so many that I couldn't even finish the soup.

Sapporo specialty soup curry restaurant with plenty of vegetables. Vegetable curry with 12 kinds of vegetables for ¥1550. Crispy Shiretoko chicken and 7 kinds of vegetable curry for ¥1630. Plain lassi for ¥300. Mango lassi for ¥350. I happened to be nearby and decided to drop in. This place is super famous in Hokkaido, and they also have branches in Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Kichijoji in Tokyo. They use carefully selected ingredients and have a special soup. The vegetables are deep-fried so you can taste the flavor of the ingredients. You can choose from 3 types of soup bases and 6 levels of spiciness. I went for the recommended spiciness and the classic soup, and it was delicious. The soup curry had a rich flavor with just the right amount of spice, easy to eat without being too overpowering. The lassi is also a must-try!

Tokyo. So, where should we have lunch today? I decided to try the Hokkaido soup curry that I've been eyeing for a while. I walked from Tokyo Station to Hokkaido Soup Curry Suage Marunouchi branch. Luckily, I arrived early and didn't have to wait in line. By the time I finished eating and left, there was a long line outside. It's definitely a popular place. Inside the restaurant, I looked at the menu. There were many tempting dishes, but when I saw "Chicken Leg and 7 Vegetable Curry," I immediately decided on that. After a short wait, it arrived - the aroma was amazing. I couldn't help but gulp. First, I tried the chicken leg - it was tender and flavorful. I enjoyed it on its own and with the curry. It was incredibly delicious. The curry and vegetables were also excellent. It was a truly delicious meal. It's so fortunate that we can enjoy such delicious soup curry without having to go to Hokkaido. I wonder which curry I should try next. I'll definitely have to come back for more.

Visited the restaurant alone around 7 pm on a regular day. The place was about half full, with each seat at the counter spaced out. I had considered going to the Sapporo branch of this restaurant last month when I went on a day trip to Hokkaido, but I found out there was one in Tokyo and decided to visit today after work. I ordered the "Crispy Shiretoko Chicken and 7 Vegetable Curry," which was recommended and prominently displayed on the menu. I chose the medium spiciness level (4 out of 5), requested less rice, and ordered a 330ml bottle of beer for 650 yen since the Hokkaido limited edition Sapporo Black Label can was sold out. The beer arrived quickly, and I enjoyed a refreshing drink. It was good, but I ended up ordering another bottle since it was a bit small. After about 10 minutes, the rice and curry arrived. The chicken pieces were smaller than I expected, and I wished I had ordered the larger bone-in option. The texture and flavor of the Shiretoko chicken were unique and delicious. As for the curry, it was good but not very spicy—a typical soup curry with a watery consistency. The fried vegetables, especially the potatoes and pumpkins, were tasty. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, but it was as I had anticipated. I finished everything, but I don't think I'll be coming back. It was probably a good decision not to try it in Hokkaido. The Luckyo Brothers, which I visited recently, was more delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I tried the Squid Ink Soup Special. The perfect balance of spiciness and umami was impressive. The rich aroma of spices and the deep flavor that spreads in your mouth with each bite made me feel entranced. The soup was full of large vegetables and meat, providing a satisfying volume. The soup had a smooth texture and a delicious taste that could easily become addictive after just one sip. This is a highly recommended restaurant that I hope you will visit at least once.

I had soup curry for the first time! It was spicy, but easy to eat. I ordered the lamb soup curry with level 4 spiciness. The lemon served with the rice was a nice touch! The vegetables were big and chunky, giving a satisfying crunch. I was surprised by the generous amount of lamb pieces in the curry. I thought there would be 2-3 pieces, but they kept coming! It was a chilly day in April, so the curry really warmed me up. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited around 2:00 pm on Saturday and there were about 5 people in line. The interior of the restaurant was small and there were many female customers. I think because I ordered while waiting outside, the food came out in about 3 minutes after being seated. The vegetables were large and soft, and delicious. It was a soup dish, so I finished it quickly, but I felt quite full afterwards.

I chose to have lunch at a restaurant in Marunouchi for the first time in a while! The price was as expected for Marunouchi, a bit expensive~. The soup was spicy but had a rich umami flavor with a high spice aroma. The fried vegetables were delicious. However, the lamb meat seemed to be cooked too much and had a slightly oily smell, so the handling of the meat was not up to the price.

Suage, a popular soup curry restaurant in Sapporo! I had the chance to visit their branch at Tokyo Station. While I had to wait in line in Sapporo, this time I arrived after 5 PM and got seated right away. I ordered the Chicken Leg Curry, which came with 7 types of vegetables. The chicken leg was crispy and tender, and the vegetables included potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, eggplant, watercress, okra, and broccoli. The curry had a mild level of spiciness, and the rice was delicious. My companion opted for the limited edition Luxury Curry, which featured skewered Shiretoko chicken, braised pork, shiitake mushrooms, bell peppers, baby corn, potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, eggplant, watercress, and half a boiled egg. It seemed like a good option for those who like a variety of flavors. I personally prefer spicier curries. The restaurant is conveniently located underground, directly connected to the station for easy access.

I love the soup curry here and have visited many times. There is always a line, but the turnover is fast so the wait is not too long. While waiting in line, the staff comes to take your order, so the food is served fairly quickly after entering the restaurant, which is nice. I had been debating which curry to get since the day before, but ended up getting the usual chicken curry. However, this time I tried the fried chicken instead of the stewed chicken. The stewed chicken is tender and delicious, but the fried chicken had crispy skin and the meat was firm and tasty. The deep-fried vegetables are also really delicious. The potatoes and carrots are big and chunky, and all of them are sweet and tasty. You can choose the level of spiciness for the soup, and this time I tried the extra spicy. As someone who likes spicy food, it was just the right level of spiciness and very enjoyable. From now on, I'll go for extra spicy. I have also tried the shrimp and squid ink soup before, but personally, I liked the normal soup the best. The shrimp had a strong shrimp flavor and was delicious, so I would like to try it again sometime. The squid ink was okay, nothing special. I sometimes crave this soup curry, so next time I want to try a new menu item.

Vegetable-rich soup curry with deep-fried vegetables! Visited with a friend for lunch on a weekday. Waited in line for about 10 minutes, but they took our order while we were waiting and as soon as we were seated, our food arrived promptly! The soup was full of flavor and really delicious!!! We savored every last drop! It's also healthy because you can get plenty of vegetables!

Curry restaurant in the Marunouchi area of Tokyo Station. I passed by once and saw a long line, which made me curious about this place. This time, I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. As expected, there was a line of office workers. I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. I ordered the "Vegetable Curry with 12 types of vegetables". When I tried it, the soup was not as thick as others, with a light texture. Of course, it had a strong spicy flavor. The curry included ingredients like shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and potatoes, and it highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients. Personally, I prefer curries with ingredients infused in the soup, but it's just a matter of taste. It's popular among women because it's packed with vegetables. Thank you for the meal.
