I couldn't find any seats with power outlets, so I ended up sitting at a two-person table where I could leave my stuff. I had wanted to do some work on my laptop during the break, but I gave up and just checked my emails on my phone instead. Even though I only stayed for a short time, it was nice to be able to relax and unwind.

Higashizaki Junction is a famous spot on the Shuto Expressway, and while many people have driven through it, not many have walked underneath it unless they are locals. I ordered the Morning Cafe Set (B) for 390 yen, which included a hot ham and cheese sandwich and an iced coffee. I frequent Doutor often, but this set menu was new to me. The ham and cheese sandwich was indeed hot and delicious, with a satisfying portion size. It was a great meal!

If you occasionally visit, a recommended place is the Doutor Coffee Shop Ningyocho Hakozaeki store, located near Suitengu-mae Station and Hakozaeki JCT (with a bus stop for the airport). The area near Suitengu-mae Station seems quiet, with the only notable facility being the IBM Hakozaeki office, but recently, various hidden gem eateries have been opening up, catching my attention. To get to the Doutor Coffee Shop, head towards Exit 1-3 after going through the City Air Terminal direction gate at the top of the escalator. The moving walkway is surprisingly fast and smoothly moves up the steep slope. After reaching the top, exit at Gate 2, capture the view of Hakozaeki JCT, then head to the Doutor Coffee Shop. I ordered a medium-sized Honey Cafe au Lait for 320 yen, which had a unique sweetness from the honey, different from artificial sweeteners or sugar. The area feels like a hidden gem in Chuo Ward, with a spacious and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or contemplating. It's a great spot to quench your thirst before visiting nearby places like Kayabacho Kaki Iredoki. Plus, with the airport-bound buses running frequently from Hakozaeki JCT, it could be a convenient spot to grab a drink before or after a flight.

The coffee shop in this town is stable and convenient, which is a good point of chain stores. On this day, in between work travels, my colleague and I took a break at Doutor Coffee in Ningyocho. Even though we said it was a break, we ended up talking about work the whole time, so it didn't really feel like a break. Coffee in these chain stores tends to be forgettable because it's familiar and doesn't leave a strong impression. Surprises are more memorable in our memories. The shop is located right by Suitengu-mae Station, perfect for meeting up. I usually come here for meetings. I skipped lunch that day, so I decided to grab something quick and easy. In November 2013, I stopped by in the morning. The shop is quaintly nestled along the street, with the city trees adding to the scenery. The interior is bright and open. Normally, I would have the morning set, but since I wasn't too hungry, I opted for a Baumkuchen instead. I usually get Americano, but with a coupon from Docomo, I upgraded my coffee size. It was just a brief moment, but savoring the subtly sweet Baumkuchen and coffee made me feel a little bit happier.

I was debating between getting cocoa and café mocha, but in the end, I chose an iced café mocha. The owner was at the register, but I couldn't hear the end of their sentences, so it was a bit off-putting when they said "300 yen" and "change" without the usual polite endings. The cafe was almost full, so they were probably busy, but it was a bit disappointing. The drink itself tasted just like usual.

The ice coffee was just the right strength, not too strong or weak, easy to drink and had a delicious taste. The milk crepe had a nice vanilla scent and a creamy, delicious taste that you can't find at other shops. The large windows and open feel are also nice. It's a casual, affordable and tasty coffee chain where you can easily stop by.

It's a great place to take shelter from the rain as it's close to the station, although the seating can be a bit cramped and there's no convenient place to put your umbrella. Overall, it's a suitable cafe for individuals or business meetings, as there are no issues with children.

My mother is not home, so I am having breakfast difficulties. I decided to get breakfast from this shop near my office. I arrived a little early because there is usually a long line after 8 am. The morning set includes egg & ham and cheese & tuna hot sandwiches with a drink for 380 yen. I couldn't decide between the two, but I chose the cheese & tuna. The cheese is melty and delicious. With a hot and tasty coffee included at this price, I am satisfied. Having this every day might get boring, but occasionally having my mother away might be nice.

Many of the restaurants around here are closed on holidays and even when they are open, they are non-smoking (which is fine for me but not for my boss). So, when I have to work on Saturdays (Sundays off), they come in very handy. The only downside is that they close early. It's usually quite crowded but somehow there always seems to be a seat available. Plus, since it's not in a residential area, the turnover is fast. I generally like Doutor, so I always enjoy my order of iced coffee and croque monsieur.

Doutor☆Yogurn Vol. 2 Report Theme: Monipla Have you heard of Doutor Coffee Shop's Yogurn? It's a refreshing frozen drink made with a yogurt-like base and smooth milk. I previously wrote about Yogurn Vol. 1, and now I tried the new flavors from Yogurn Vol. 2, which were released on July 5th. The new flavors are: - Guava & Pomegranate Yogurn - Mango & Passion Yogurn - Kiwi & Lime Mint Yogurn The yogurt base is refreshing on its own, and when mixed with the fruit sauces, it becomes sweet and tangy. The balance between the yogurt's freshness and the fruit sauce's sweetness and acidity is just right, perfect for summer. I chose the Guava & Pomegranate Yogurn, which seemed good for beauty as well. It was very refreshing, sweet, and tangy - delicious! With the sudden hot days recently, the coldness of this drink is so satisfying. I would like to try the other flavors as well.
