When it comes to Shabu Ya from the Skylark Group, it may give off a low-end impression among shabu-shabu restaurants due to its young user base. However, upon rediscovery, it's not that bad. The meat, especially the cheapest pork belly, is delicious when eaten with ponzu or green onion sauce. The variety of vegetables is also good. The rice could be of better quality, but overall, it's worth using if it's not too crowded.

I arrived at the restaurant around 2 pm in the afternoon. There were two people waiting ahead of me. I waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. I chose the beef and pork course. I selected the white miso and medium spicy red miso. Although it says medium spicy, it was quite spicy. I had three rounds of beef and pork, a bite of curry, a nostalgic bite of wakame rice, and finished with soft serve ice cream. I was full and satisfied. The shabu-shabu was amazing! It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

Went to Shabu-shabu with friends from my hobby group and family. It's been a while. Luckily, we were able to get a table for all 10 of us as we arrived early. We sat at three different 4-seater tables. We ordered the all-you-can-eat pork belly course, which was the cheapest option at 1759 yen for adults and 1099 yen for elementary school students. I thought it was a good deal. There was a variety of vegetables to choose from and different sauces for flavor. It was nice to have a highball for only 209 yen with a coupon. I mainly ate vegetables and meat without carbs. The sauces might have had high sugar content, but I didn't worry too much about that. It was fun to have a robot cat bring us additional meat.

I visited "Shabu Ha Takadanobaba" located about a 5-minute walk from Takadanobaba towards Shinjuku. I have been to Shabu Ha several times and always enjoy their routine of meat, rice, sushi, and dessert until my stomach is full. I chose the white dashi and yuzu salt dashi for my broth. They offer a wide variety of vegetables and meats, so I am always satisfied with my meal!

All-you-can-eat pork belly, 3% off with in-app coupon, priced at 1280 yen. The pork belly slices are super thin and can be eaten in one bite when cooled. Sometimes there is a bit of blood mixed in, but overall it's decent for the price. I had 21 plates of it. The chicken meat was cut into small pieces and got lost in the hot pot. Only had one plate of it. The curry had a good flavor with plenty of pork, very satisfying. However, it was filling enough to only have one bowl. There were various vegetables available, mainly leeks, marinated mushrooms, and wood ear mushrooms. Arrived at 3:10 pm on a weekday, had to wait for one person. Half of the seats in the restaurant were occupied. It was hot and steamy inside, as expected. It's good that drinks are not included in the price, but having water available would be nice. Overall, I was full and satisfied for 1300 yen.

After finishing my errands and on my way home, I took a different route than usual and came across a buffet restaurant with a sign that said "all-you-can-eat". I hesitated for a moment but decided to go in. The restaurant was about 70% full. Since I only had to go home afterwards, I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink option as well. I ordered the course with two types of beef and three types of pork (1979 yen) with the all-you-can-drink option (1099 yen). The all-you-can-eat meat included beef kalbi, three types of pork (shoulder loin, belly, and chicken), as well as various vegetables and side dishes, including curry. Drinks, vegetables, and side dishes were all self-service, except for the meat which you could order through a tablet and have it brought to your table by a serving robot. I ordered various meats, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and filled myself up. I left feeling a little tipsy. I would like to come back again to eat, although for some reason, my star rating dropped by two levels, which I don't even understand myself. I would like to revisit and give it a proper rating.

I gained weight. But I want to eat meat. After going to the gym, I went to Shabuya for dinner. I had a course with two types of beef and three kinds of pork. The broth was made with kelp and sukiyaki-style. I skipped carbs and root vegetables, and just kept eating leafy vegetables and meat while skimming off the fat from the surface of the hot pot. It was easy to eat, so maybe it's not that bad. There were many solo diners, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Shabu-shabu restaurant affiliated with the Skylark Group located along the Takadanobaba Station Street in Takadanobaba. I had a sudden craving for shabu-shabu without the need to grill meat for lunch, so I visited for the first time during the weekday lunchtime. They offer all-you-can-eat courses with different prices depending on the type of meat. Options range from one type of pork loin or pork belly to a course with all-you-can-eat pork loin, pork belly, and chicken, or even a course with all-you-can-eat beef. Lunch is about 400 yen cheaper than dinner. This time, I chose the all-you-can-eat three types of pork loin course. The all-you-can-eat meat is ordered through a touch panel, and the staff brings it to you promptly, so you can order as much as you like. Other than the meat, everything is self-service, including curry at the rice section, which serves as a nice break. The salad, hot pot vegetables, and macaroni are plentiful, but the tongs are a bit difficult to grasp. There is also a variety of sauces available. The meat is sliced super thin, with each plate being about 50g. It was tender and delicious. I had about 10 plates, but I'm not sure if I got my money's worth. You can also make soft serve ice cream and shaved ice for dessert by going to get it yourself. The drink bar is an additional charge, which would have been better if it was included. The bill cannot be split. I used a discount coupon from the Skylark app to get an 8% discount, saving about 100 yen. They accept payment through services like PayPay. Compared to other shabu-shabu restaurants, it's reasonably priced and if I ever crave shabu-shabu again, I would definitely come back.

We visited Shabuya with our family before the campaign ended, which we had reserved through Goto. It was our first visit since the new normal. The buffet area had plastic sheets and gloves installed. It's a bit unfortunate that there will be a lot of glove waste. Orders were taken on tablets, which was convenient as we could easily order more meat without calling a staff member, saving on labor costs. We opted for the all-you-can-eat pork loin with a drink bar. With our kids growing up, dining out can get expensive, but thanks to the great coupons from Skylark, elementary school kids were only 599 yen and toddlers 99 yen. The drink bar came with a lucky drink bar set with a gachapon coin, which was a nice bonus. The miso and yuzu salt soup was delicious. While the sauces were plentiful, I personally enjoyed mixing the Sichuan-style chili oil with sesame sauce. We enjoyed plenty of meat and vegetables. For dessert, we had waffles, shaved ice, soft-serve ice cream, and cotton candy. The kids especially enjoyed the desserts. With the coupon, the total bill came to 5,140 yen, and we earned 4,000 yen worth of points. We paid using a premium meal voucher, which was a great deal.

I experienced my first shabu-shabu at Shabu Sai and did not know it was part of the Skylark Group. I visited just before noon and there was no wait. I was seated and then used a tablet to place my order. I chose the cheapest meat course and selected two types of broth for the hot pot. The meat was brought to the table by the staff, while other side dishes were available buffet-style. I tried various items like curry, rice, salads, and sauces. The meat was tender and delicious when dipped in the sauce. I was impressed by the texture and flavor. I couldn't eat as much as I thought, perhaps because I also had rice. For dessert, there were options like cotton candy and a waffle maker. I opted for soft serve ice cream. The atmosphere was like a family restaurant, but I didn't see many families, mainly students. There was even a man dining alone, enjoying shabu-shabu with a drink. I had planned to have ramen as a finishing touch, but I was too full to remember. Overall, the service was efficient, and the experience was great for a shabu-shabu beginner. Lunch shabu-shabu buffet: 1319 yen.

When I go out to Ikebukuro, I often use the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant "Shabuha" for lunch. The children seem to enjoy not only the shabu-shabu, but also the variety of desserts. In addition to ice cream, they were particularly drawn to the shaved ice and cotton candy. Towards the end, I feel like they were just eating cotton candy for about 30 minutes... Well, maybe they don't have many opportunities to make it themselves, so that might be part of the fun too. We often use it as a family because we can enjoy a little event-like atmosphere, and it's nice to be able to eat shabu-shabu without feeling guilty! Thank you for the meal!

Had dinner at Shabuya in Takadanobaba with friends and their families. It's perfect for families with kids and large groups. We opted for the simple pork shoulder course, which was around 1700 yen plus a weekend surcharge of 100 yen. We enjoyed plenty of meat and vegetables, all for under 2000 yen, which was great. The kids' meal was 600 yen. We had two pots, one with spicy numbing broth and the other with yuzu salt. The default broth was a white one, while the spicy broth was mild and suitable for everyone. We had a variety of dipping sauces to enjoy with the meat and vegetables. It was a fun experience changing the flavors using the sauces, so honestly, any broth would have been fine. We had a great time enjoying plenty of meat and vegetables. And then it was dessert time for the kids. Self-serve soft serve ice cream or shaved ice, it was definitely a fun experience! We had so much fun that it's hard to say which was the main highlight of the meal.

I went to the Anahachimangu Shrine in Waseda to pray for good luck, and then I came to Shabu-ya in Takadanobaba. The broth was delicious and lunch was around 1,300 yen, which made me happy. They put a lot of green onions ❤️ It was fun to roll my own ice cream. I actually visited the Anahachimangu Shrine yesterday too, but I realized I didn't have my wallet while waiting in line to buy the good luck charm for "Ichiyo Hifuku" (return of good fortune). It was a tragic comedy (lol) but I'm just thankful that it was found and handed over to the police. I felt bad for always complaining, so I'm being honest now. I also visited the Hoseiji Temple next to the Anahachimangu Shrine. Shabu-ya Takadanobaba Branch 03-5286-7250 Tokyo, Shinjuku-ku, Takadanobaba 1-33-14.

There was no line when I visited alone around noon, but there was a line after 1 pm. Many young people were there, but there were also some older customers.

Suddenly, I felt like eating shabu-shabu, so I looked it up and found Shabuha. I went there. It was early afternoon on a weekday, and the restaurant was bustling with university students. I was seated next to a solo diner. At first, eating shabu-shabu alone may seem lonely, but being able to choose and eat vegetables at your own pace and in your own preferred quantity is great, isn't it? I was excited watching the solo diner happily enjoying their meal. I ordered the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu with a drink bar, and then I headed to the vegetable section. I was thrilled by the wide variety of vegetables available. I picked my favorites, returned to my seat, and looked for the dipping sauce... Oh no, the ponzu sauce was empty... I usually prefer ponzu sauce for shabu-shabu, but I thought maybe it was just bad timing. While waiting for a refill, I started with something else. Then I decided to go to the drink bar, but I couldn't find it at first. It was hidden in the back. Although there were signs pointing to the restroom, there was no sign for the drink bar. I returned to my seat and started eating the shabu-shabu. The meat and vegetables were delicious... amazing...! After finishing my meal, I went to get the ponzu sauce, but it still wasn't refilled... I ended up leaving without my shabu-shabu craving fully satisfied. Perhaps they were short-staffed... I should have said something, but I was a bit disappointed. I'll definitely go back for a rematch next time!!
