This time, I visited a place located just a 1-minute walk from Kinshicho Station on various lines, in a 2nd-floor drinking alley called Gotouchi Yokocho. With the outdoor temperature nearing 30 degrees, the footsteps of summer are getting closer, and I'm starting to feel the summer fatigue and the May blues creeping in, so I thought about eating meat to boost my stamina, and decided to go for an all-you-can-eat plan for barbecue to enjoy a good amount of food. Although the posting says it starts at 17:00, it's usually not crowded around 15:00 on weekends, so that's something to consider. I had heard that it was one of the shops in the alley, but the seating was more spacious than I had imagined, making it a convenient location for gatherings after work or on holidays. When I looked at the menu, I was amused by the drink all-you-can-drink main plan for ¥550 for 30 minutes, with a wide variety of options available. While sour drinks were the main focus, there were also about 4 types of highballs and around 8 types of non-alcoholic drinks, which made me doubt if it was really true. Happy hours and cheap all-you-can-drink options usually have a limited selection in Tokyo, but this place seemed to be a step ahead, which was impressive. This time, I chose the all-you-can-eat course with large beef skirt steak included for ¥3500 per person, and made a reservation for 2 hours starting in the early afternoon. I was able to make a reservation through Tabelog, which also allows me to earn points, making it a nice feature (Note: It is recommended to make reservations by the day before, as making a reservation on the day of the visit may not earn you points as it may lead to a call screen). Drinks arrived, and the food lineup was set... Oh, there is a slight condition for the all-you-can-eat and drink plan here, where a certain amount of meat is provided at the start. Once all of that meat is eaten, the all-you-can-eat option starts until the time is up. (Please be careful as this might be easily misunderstood). Chicken, pork, beef, and offal were served on silver plates right from the start, with high-quality meats appearing from the beginning. I had planned to gradually increase the pace from the third round, but I decided to go full throttle at 6th gear. The chicken had a good mix of cartilage and thigh meat, with a light taste that was enjoyable. The pork seemed to be pork belly, with clear cuts and a satisfying quality that I wanted to enjoy with beer or lemon sour. The beef appeared to be sirloin and belly cuts, but it seems that the cuts provided may vary depending on the day, with no fixed cuts. The main highlight, the "large beef skirt steak," was seared to perfection within seconds, cut swiftly, and ready to be devoured immediately. It's an exciting dish that you can enjoy even more with a larger group. Towards the end, I enjoyed the variety of highball drinks without getting sluggish until the very end. I truly appreciated the wide selection of drinks available for all-you-can-drink here. This place is highly recommended for those looking for a cost-effective and quick meat feast, or for those who want to enjoy a lively atmosphere with friends over some drinks. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.
