I went to a cafe bar called Tír na nÓg in Ginza 5-chome with a friend on Saturday afternoon after seeing their SNS and it looked really nice. Tír na nÓg is a place in Celtic mythology, a favorite dwelling place of fairies, consisting of three islands. Personally, I remember playing a computer game called Tír na nÓg similar to Dragon Quest about 30 years ago, where I used a lot of fairy magic to defeat enemies and progress, it was a nostalgic word for me. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we had to go down the stairs as the place is located underground. The atmosphere was dark and fantastical, with copper fairies hanging on the staircase landing, creating a surprising fairy world. We were seated at a table near the entrance, and the interior was dimly lit with a lot of copper fairy figurines decorating the tables and shelves. The BGM playing in the background was reminiscent of DisneySea music. The place had a wonderful atmosphere, with many young female customers and couples filling up the seats. The table we sat at had round chairs facing the wall, and there were numerous copper fairy figurines placed on the tables and shelves. The number of fairies was impressive. The staff explained that the keys hanging around were used to create the fairies, according to the story. The restaurant originally belonged to a group in Bangkok, Thailand, and the current owner bought it and kept the large number of fairies for the ambiance. We ordered the Heaven Lonely Flows (White Rum, Lemon Juice, Raspberry Syrup, Mint, Soda, Cotton Candy) and the Empress Garden (Vodka, Strawberry, Blackberry Syrup, Cassis Syrup, Lemon Juice, Champagne) cocktails, as recommended by the staff. There was an additional charge of 500 yen per person. The Empress Garden cocktail was served first, with three white dumplings on top of the red cocktail, which was visually appealing and delicious. The Heaven Lonely Flows cocktail was brought out next, with a giant white cotton candy that was surprisingly large and impressive. The cocktail had a refreshing taste with lemon and mint. Overall, the experience at Tír na nÓg was fantastic, with unique drinks and a magical atmosphere.
