When you want to eat delicious blackthroat seaperch, head to "Nakamata"! For me, this place has become a place where I can enjoy high-quality blackthroat seaperch in a more accessible way. This time, I visited the store near Higashi-Ginza for the first time. The store has a spacious counter and a very refreshing interior. I ordered the 10,000 yen course to enjoy delicious seasonal ingredients. - Grilled Vegetable Assortment: Red eggplant from Kumamoto, green beans from Ibaraki, asparagus from Tochigi, eringi mushrooms from Chiba, and large shishito peppers from Chiba. They are all moist and sweet, enjoyed with salt and yuzu pepper. - Sashimi Platter: Natural bluefin tuna from Tottori/Sakaiminato, button shrimp from Aomori/Odorihama, horse mackerel from Nagasaki, grunt from Nagasaki, and red sea bream from Oita/Bungo Strait. Not only the blackthroat seaperch but the other seafood items are also outstandingly delicious! The sashimi exceeded my expectations, with the bluefin tuna being wonderfully fatty and the button shrimp being sweet and chewy. - Boxed Sea Urchin from Hokkaido/Hokuto: A surprising amount of beautiful and thick sea urchin. I felt so happy eating so much of it. - Hairy Crab in Hamayu from Hokkaido/Nemuro: A large hairy crab that was easy to eat. The miso was also sweet and delicious. - Grilled Blackthroat Seaperch with Salt from Nagasaki/Tsushima: A large and fatty blackthroat seaperch. The flesh was moist and tender, with a sweet flavor. - Homemade Satsuma Age: Nakamata's homemade Satsuma Age is my favorite. - Simmered Alfonsino from Hokkaido/Nemuro: A large simmered dish that was satisfying. The firm flesh soaked in broth was comforting. The tofu also had a rich flavor. - Bluefin Tuna Chutoro Gunkan Maki from Tottori/Sakaiminato: Chutoro from the sashimi served in a gunkan maki style. A luxurious amount of tuna. - Fish Soup: A flavorful soup that allows you to fully enjoy the richness of the yellowtail. - Melon from Shizuoka: A deliciously sweet melon. The wine selection was also excellent, especially the white wine that paired well with the sashimi. The counter seating allows you to watch the chefs prepare the dishes, adding an extra element of enjoyment to the dining experience. I had a great time enjoying the food and the atmosphere.

I was drawn to visit for the first time by the review mentioning the superb fish and shochu directly delivered from the brewery. I was torn between this place and the throat-specialty store within the same group, but I chose this one because it seemed to have a variety of fish dishes. It is located on the second floor of a small alley a little walk from Higashi-Ginza Station. I waited for the start of the "Universe" course (¥8800) that I reserved, enjoying a beer at the recommended counter seat. First, I had the bonito tataki. The burst of umami from the very beginning was impressive. Truly amazing, Mr. Nakamata, the fish expert! Next, I enjoyed grilled vegetables such as eggplant, potatoes, and asparagus before preparing for the 3 types of sake tasting set in anticipation of the 5 types of fresh morning-caught fish. The tuna from Imizu and botan shrimp were particularly delicious! The homemade satsuma-age, additional seared squid ink, and of course, the eagerly awaited salt-grilled throat fish, with a focus on a large over 400g throat fish, were all delicious. Although I don't usually drink shochu much, the directly delivered cloudy sake and aged sake were delicious, and I ended up trying 7 varieties (*´-`). The finale of striped jack shabu-shabu, a clay pot rice with plenty of whitebait, and a dessert of warabi mochi were all full of deliciousness. It was a highly satisfying recommended course. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and I would love to visit this place again when I feel like enjoying delicious fish and good shochu! It was delicious, thank you for the meal! I would like to visit again.

I used this restaurant for the first time on a commemorative day. We had the fishing course with 2 hours of all-you-can-drink, and the food and drinks were excellent. The sashimi was very fresh, and the Kirino highball was amazing! The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, like a hidden gem, and the staff's customer service and response were wonderful. I would definitely like to come back again.

The restaurant is located near Higashi Ginza Station, and the service was excellent, with all dishes being delicious. From the sashimi to the extra-large blackthroat seaperch, the recommended large clams of the day, and the seared karasumi, everything was exquisite. I was also pleased with the complimentary sweet potato shochu, warabi mochi, and fish head miso soup. I would love to visit again.

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with polite service and a high-class feel in its white wood-based interior. The specialty grilled throat blackthroat seaperch is rich in fat and has a thick, flavorful finish, making it the best I've ever had. In addition, there is a variety of seasonal dishes, and I believe that there is no one who loves fish and leaves unsatisfied. The prices are reasonable considering the location, so it's understandable that some may find it cheap. For those who love fish, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

I have visited all of the Nakahata Group's restaurants. The sashimi is delicious, especially the tuna which simply melts in your mouth. The nodoguro this time was also tasty, but I felt like the size was a bit smaller. The nodoguro at the Tsukiji branch seems to have a more consistent size. I will definitely continue to frequent this restaurant in the future.

Anyway, I really wanted to eat sea urchin. So I made a reservation. I wanted to enjoy my meal at the counter seat, but it was a bit noisier than I expected... Well, I guess that's a sign that the lively atmosphere is coming back. We ordered a box of sea urchin to share, which was a bit much for two people, but at 6000 yen, it was actually cheap! We ordered half raw and half grilled. It was delicious with seaweed and cucumber. But... I felt like I wanted to eat a bit more sea urchin! The seasonal asparagus was also delicious! I can't cook it well at home. The sashimi was of course fresh and crunchy! Sea urchin... maybe a slightly smaller box would be better? It's delicious, but maybe a bit too much.

You can enjoy their proud sashimi, natural bluefin tuna sourced from Toyosu, and the highest quality nodoguro even at the counter seats. The sight of the food being prepared efficiently in front of you is very pleasant to watch. There are 41 seats available (11 counter seats, 30 table seats). ORDER ------------------------------ ◆Specialty sashimi 5-piece assortment (1,320 yen) *Pre-order required ◆Nodoguro salt-grilled whole fish (4,400 yen) *Pre-order required ◆Grilled vegetables - eggplant ◆Kama-grilled bluefin tuna ◆Nodoguro dashi rolled omelette ◆Fish head soup *Complimentary ◆Warabi mochi *Complimentary ------------------------------------- [About the taste] ◇Specialty sashimi 5-piece assortment A popular menu item, so pre-order is required. The appearance is beautiful, and the tuna in particular was delicious. ◇Nodoguro salt-grilled whole fish A popular menu item, so pre-order is required. The staff removes the backbone for you, and then you can enjoy it on your own. ◇Grilled vegetables - eggplant The surface of the eggplant was crispy, and it was topped with plenty of bonito flakes. It was delicious when eaten with dashi soy sauce. ◇Kama-grilled bluefin tuna I chose this from the recommendations shown to me that day. The fatty collar, which overflowed with just a little touch, was by far the most delicious dish I ordered that day. I enjoyed squeezing lemon, grating daikon, adding a little soy sauce, and savoring it to the fullest. It already had a salty taste, so I preferred it as it was or with squeezed lemon. ◇Nodoguro dashi rolled omelette Contains nodoguro inside. The taste is light, so I added plenty of grated daikon and soy sauce. ◇Fish head soup *Complimentary They serve a fish head soup made with that day's fish bones after the meal. ◇Warabi mochi *Complimentary They served this as dessert. I was surprised by their service spirit of serving even dessert. [Impressions] While other restaurants operated by the Nakamata Brewing Group mainly offer courses priced at over 10,000 yen, this place also has a wide range of à la carte dishes that can be ordered from an affordable price. Additionally, the East Ginza area, where this restaurant is located, is relatively less crowded than other areas near Ginza, creating a calm atmosphere inside where you can relax and enjoy your meal. Although the bluefin tuna left a stronger impression on me than the nodoguro, I thought this restaurant was perfect for leisurely enjoying seafood in an izakaya style setting. Thank you for the meal. Revisit (February 23.2) Four months since the last visit. The highlights this time were the rock-solid grilled nodoguro with salt and the unexpected arrival of fugu shirako (fugu sperm sac) grilled. ◆Menu this time Seared bonito tataki Grilled vegetable assortment: lotus root, turnip, eggplant Five kinds of fresh sashimi: bonito, botan shrimp, flounder, red snapper, horse mackerel Fried botan shrimp Homemade sweet potato tempura Grilled nodoguro with salt Grilled fugu shirako Seafood shabu-shabu with clam and seaweed hot pot Rice cooked in a clay pot with shirasu (young sardines) and warabi mochi Plus 4 glasses of sweet potato shochu (night) 11200 yen per person ※The following is basic information about the restaurant, so it may overlap with the content of the first visit. ◆How to enjoy this restaurant A casual seafood izakaya specializing in nodoguro, part of the Nakamata group. This is a new restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building. It is the first Nakamata-affiliated restaurant to focus on a counter seating layout. The showcase of today's ingredients, including seafood, near the entrance, adds to the lively atmosphere.

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while because I wanted to enjoy delicious seafood in the Ginza area at a reasonable price. When the opportunity for a casual dinner with some business associates arose, I immediately thought of this place and made a reservation for the 8,800 yen course for four people. Unfortunately, one person had to cancel on the day of, but the restaurant was flexible and accommodated us. I won't go into details about the course, but the goal of "enjoying seafood" was beautifully achieved with attentive service. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively with many young couples, and we had a great time. Of course, we also enjoyed a variety of Mr. Nakamata's shochu, which even pleased me as a sake lover. I look forward to visiting again with some younger friends next time.

I made a reservation for 6 people with a memo pre-booking plan. We chose the all-you-can-drink plan, and the ordering process was smooth. The hospitality of the staff was excellent. The salt-grilled fatty blackthroat seaperch was delicious. Thank you for the meal. We will definitely visit again.

I was surprised to find high-quality blackthroat seaperch in Tokyo! The sashimi was delicious. It seems the restaurant is run by a sake brewery from Kagoshima. I think it would be nice to have Kagoshima soy sauce and local chicken sashimi as well. I enjoyed the shochu tasting, but ordering shochu by the glass seemed a bit expensive.

After enjoying Genghis Khan cuisine, one person headed home while three others were walking and stumbled upon this place. It was their first visit and the restaurant was full, but they were able to get a table right as someone was leaving. They waited for about 15 minutes and then entered the clean and cozy atmosphere. Although they were already full, they decided to try the famous nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch). They ordered nodoguro salt-grilled, the specialty sashimi platter, and satsuma-age (fried fish cake) along with some sake. The appetizers arrived quickly, including a sashimi platter with six types of fish like shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, and horse mackerel. The satsuma-age was delicious, and the nodoguro salt-grilled, despite being over 4000 yen for one fish, was surprisingly tasty. The staff provided good service and guided them to a window seat when it became available. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation because I wanted to eat sashimi. Unfortunately, they didn't have sea urchin, but the sashimi platter was visually beautiful and delicious in taste and texture! The sparkling wine for the toast was easy to drink, and I ended up having another glass ♡ The grilled blackthroat seaperch was also delicious with its flavorful oil. The staff were considerate and I think it's a great restaurant! I definitely want to go again.

I visited this restaurant for the first time because I wanted to eat blowfish, hairy crab, and box crab. I had requested a reservation, but they couldn't prepare the hairy crab and box crab due to the high cost of ingredients, which was disappointing (I had made the reservation quite some time ago, so I wish they had informed me earlier if it was not possible). We sat at the counter and the young chefs worked efficiently, making the dining experience pleasant. We had a sashimi platter, hairy crab head, and blowfish sperm sac with ponzu sauce. Since we couldn't have what we originally wanted, we left early and headed to a sushi restaurant in Tsukiji.

After golf, I visited with my junior colleague. He usually prefers meat, but this time he wanted to try some delicious fish dishes, so I made a reservation. The restaurant has been open for about three years and the lively atmosphere was evident as it was almost full by 7 pm. We opted for the all-you-can-drink option, with me enjoying Japanese sake and my colleague sticking to shochu. The fish dishes paired perfectly with the drinks, and we particularly loved the salt-grilled yellowtail and bluefin tuna, which were both exquisite. We also ordered some pufferfish tempura as an extra, and it was a delightful addition to our meal. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I can see myself returning for various occasions.

Visited again in October (22nd). The quality of seafood is still exceptional, not at the level of a typical izakaya. The highlights this time were the fresh squid sashimi and grilled salted blackthroat seaperch. Menu: - White fish and fruit tomato - Tuna tataki - Grilled vegetables: lotus root, turnip, eggplant - Assorted sashimi: tuna, prawn, sea bream, sandfish, greater amberjack - Fresh squid sashimi - Grilled salted blackthroat seaperch - Seafood shabu-shabu with clams and seaweed - Clay pot rice with baby sardines and bracken rice cake - 4 glasses of sweet potato shochu (night) Price: 9800 yen per person Enjoyment: This casual seafood izakaya, with a focus on blackthroat seaperch, is located in Nakamata. The course menu is available starting from 8000 yen. Drinks range from 600 yen for beer, 700 yen for highball, 650 yen for sake, 700 yen for shochu, 850 yen for wine by the glass, and 5000 yen for bottles. Taxes not included. Atmosphere: Located on the 2nd floor of a new building, this restaurant features a modern interior with a mix of semi-private and private rooms. It is the first Nakamata branch to focus on a counter-style dining experience. The showcase of fresh seafood upon entering sets the mood for a delightful dining experience.

The nearest stations are Higashi-Ginza Station on the Asakusa Line (A7 exit) and Hibiya Station on the Hibiya Line (exit 3). It is within walking distance from Ginza Station and Tsukiji Station. There are sister stores like "Nodoguro Nakamata" and "Fugu Nakamata" in Ginza, so be careful. "Uo no Nakamata" offers a variety of fresh seafood such as bluefin tuna and nodoguro. During the pandemic, they were selling lunch bento boxes loudly at the storefront, so I bought them several times. The seafood bowl bento was delicious, so I wanted to visit the store eventually, and I finally went there the other day. The interior of the restaurant is clean and has a sense of cleanliness. I pre-ordered a sashimi platter for the number of people in advance. The platter included bluefin tuna from Yamayuki, botan shrimp, warasa, sea bass, and sea bream, a luxurious lineup. They are particular about the bluefin tuna, and it looked delicious from the appearance. And of course, it was delicious when I ate it (laughs). The botan shrimp was also large and satisfying to eat. The shells of the botan shrimp were fried crispy and served. The scallop salad had four scallops on top. The recommended satsuma-age (fried fish cake) went well with shochu. The dishes all paired well with shochu or sake, but they also seem suitable for white wine or champagne. Although it was a la carte, miso soup and warabi mochi (bracken-starch dumplings) were served. The service by the staff was also very good, making it a restaurant that can be used for dates or entertaining guests.

On 9/6, I went to a campaign for nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) day and it was amazing! They were offering a special deal on a 400g nodoguro, which is usually priced at 4000 yen but was only 960 yen during the campaign. I had never eaten a whole nodoguro by myself before, so it was a great experience. In addition to the nodoguro, I also tried some of the restaurant's popular dishes like the assorted sashimi plate, homemade satsuma-age, grilled vegetables, karasumi daikon, and nodoguro kama chazuke. I also ended up trying 5 different types of sake with a friend. The restaurant, "Uo no Nakamata," is more affordable compared to their nodoguro specialty store "Ginza Nakamata," and has a casual and cozy atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. I will definitely visit again!

It seems to be a restaurant specializing in Japanese cuisine, with a focus on blackthroat seaperch. We enjoyed dishes such as assorted sashimi, fresh oysters, edamame, and water eggplant, all of which were very delicious. There was a wide selection of shochu available, and we were told that they produce their own. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
