Compared to the traditional Moon Viewing Burger which has a light flavor, this version with sukiyaki flavor is for those who want a bit more punch in their burger.

It's been decades since I last had McDonald's for dinner. Since getting married at 23, I haven't had it. My wife went back to her mother's place in Nagano prefecture. After finishing work on Saturday, I returned to my town, Nogata. The state of emergency has been lifted, but the last order is at 8 pm. And it's 8 pm now. So, I decided to get takeout from McDonald's. I've always wanted to try the "Double" option. I ordered a double cheeseburger. Having a double cheeseburger is such a wonderful thing. And for drinking at home, I got some nuggets and fries as well. McDonald's sides are perfect for drinking. I wish we could drink alcohol at McDonald's, that would be so great. Various thoughts were swirling around during this moment.

This morning, I woke up at 4 o'clock to watch the Milan Derby between Inter and AC Milan. The battle between the two teams' star players, Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, was intense and exciting. It felt like watching a showdown between Godzilla and King Ghidorah. After the thrilling match, I went for a walk to a nearby restaurant where I had heard they serve Chicken Tatsuta starting from the morning. The second-floor dining area had acrylic partitions and a clean, cozy atmosphere. The Chicken Tatsuta from McDonald's was delicious as always. It's great to be able to enjoy it in the morning.

Yesterday morning, I was impressed at the usual Takadanobaba store. With the mobile order, they recognized that I always order black coffee. I wanted to try it at another store, so I happened to pass by this place today. Oh, here they don't assign seat numbers, you have to go to the counter yourself, that's fine. After completing the payment with a beep, there was a clear alert sound coming from the counter, which definitely catches your attention no matter what you're doing. It was probably less than 20 seconds since I paid while going down the stairs, but when I reached the counter, the tray was just being handed to me. And on the tray, exactly as I requested, there was no sugar or milk!! What was great about this place was the lovely lady who asked with a smile, "Is it okay without sugar and milk?" just to make sure. Even though she was wearing a mask, her smile was evident. The creme brulee pie was delicious. Actually, I had curry before this (I'll review that next time), but the creme brulee pie and coffee after curry, that's the best. I recommend it. Today, I had a meeting with a friend in Nogata. I arrived early, so I decided to kill time at the McDonald's near the station. The location is at the corner of the Nogata Station front shopping street arcade, to the left after exiting the south exit of Nogata Station. I ordered the Hamidabuchi for 420 yen and a medium Coca-Cola for 220 yen at the ordering counter. I had seen the Hamidabuchi in a commercial and was curious about it. It had a strange name, but the image of a man saying "Do your best, Tabuchi-kun" popped into my head (laughs). I took my Hamidabuchi to the third floor. The floor was smaller than I had expected. I sat at a table that was empty. Lately, I usually just have coffee when I come to McDonald's, but this time, I decided to have a Coke. Coke with a hamburger is a classic combination for me. Perhaps McDonald's strength lies in their menu development that prevents customers from always choosing the same thing. The Hamidabuchi had 1.3 times the amount of Double Cheeseburger patty, making it look quite unusual. I found the increased amount of meat to be quite noticeable. However, I didn't really taste the cheese as much as I had hoped. Also, I couldn't eat it as refreshingly as in the commercial. I tried various things, but it just didn't feel right. I guess I'm just an old man. One disappointing thing here was that there was a sign on the table saying, "Please refrain from using this seat," but someone had removed it and was using the table. It seemed like they were there for a hostess job interview. They probably needed a seat for the interview, but it didn't leave a good impression. People are quite diverse.

As I age, I find myself waking up earlier and earlier, and this morning I woke up at 4 o'clock, truly embodying the essence of being an old man. I can't help but feel the passage of time and wonder how my life will fade away in the future. I just hope to at least see my daughter on her special day. Seeing my grandchild's face would be the ultimate joy, and I would have no regrets in my life. I think about this a lot. My daughter and son have entered society, and while they may not have complete freedom, some burden has been lifted off their shoulders.

Weekday brunch in the rain. Despite being busy, I'm taking it easy, but getting soaked in the rain has left me feeling defeated. Whatever happens at work after this is out of my control! Haha. I know binge eating is not good, but I've chosen the Big Breakfast Deluxe again. Today, I'm trying something new by sandwiching egg butter (actually margarine) between the bottom pancakes. The top layer is a mix of pate and jam! As a sweet bun meal option, it's inspired by the McGriddle at this restaurant, where they also mix jam into the dish due to cultural influences. It reminds me of the American Cherry Burger I had at Tsujido Cookers Grill the other day! Let's dig in!... Wait, my inner self just got busy and froze up.

I visited the shop on a weekday afternoon during the Bon holiday period. The shop is right in front of Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. I went there by bicycle, but had trouble finding a place to park, so I ended up parking my bike on the side of the road next to the shop. I entered the shop and ordered an iced coffee at the register. After paying, I received the iced coffee and then went up to the 3rd floor using the stairs. The eat-in space on the 2nd floor was larger than on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor had an eat-in space and a restroom. I sat at a table and drank my iced coffee. I found that iced coffee tastes delicious on a hot day. The shop is completely non-smoking, so it was comfortable without cigarette smoke. I am a non-smoker, so I often go to McDonald's, which is also completely non-smoking. Complete non-smoking is definitely a good thing. After finishing my iced coffee, I left the shop, got on my bike, and headed home. Thank you for the meal.

The Premium Roast Iced Coffee has a quite mild flavor. The layout of the store is somewhat inconvenient, with the first floor being the cash register counter and the second and third floors being the dining area. The prices change frequently, and the pricing information on the website or coupons is not clear, with no mention of the regular price or individual prices for set menus. It is a hamburger restaurant near Nogata Station.

I have only been to McDonald's twice, but the service is always polite and smooth. I'm not a big fan of junk food, so I usually order a shake or vegetable juice. However, I recently ordered a burger and fries. The taste was salty and the seasoning was simple, so I was disappointed with McDonald's after a long time. I won't be going back again! But the breakfast muffin was delicious! I can't wait to try the McGriddles!

Also, I was a bit shocked when I asked for a bag because I had my hands full and it was lightly raining, and they sighed and gave me a displeased look. It was disappointing.

I had my first McDonald's delivery of the year. This time, I ordered a Teriyaki Burger set for 790 yen and a large portion of Potato Nuggets for 630 yen. I also got a vegetable juice. I sometimes crave McDonald's, but since they are raising their prices next week, I decided to have it one last time before that. It's sad to see McDonald's becoming less affordable. Dinner consisted of homemade shumai, FamilyMart's frozen mapo tofu rice bowl, and McDonald's large fries. Some days are like that. Shumai is easy to make by wrapping the filling in dough and steaming it, without the need for oil like with dumplings. It might be worth having a steamer. The frozen mapo tofu rice bowl from FamilyMart is a convenient option that I sometimes enjoy from the freezer. And the McDonald's fries (in large size) are always satisfying. Today's meal was high in fat, but it's okay to have days like this occasionally. However, there is room for improvement in maintaining a balanced diet overall.
