Also, the sushi rice was noticeably smaller. It was about the same size as the corridor Toyama sushi, which was disappointing for me. Sometimes there were dishes that seemed to be two-tiered, which was a bit of a letdown. If it's just a one-time thing, that's fine, so I'll go back again. I always wonder if there's a way to deal with this crowd. But I always feel like having sushi once a week.

As for the taste, to be honest, it didn't impress me as much as my first visit. The salmon, squid, and Hanasaki crab soup are delicious, so it's worth trying just for that. You can also enjoy rare sushi that is not often seen outside of Hokkaido, so it's worth visiting. I will consider whether to eat here again in the future based on the waiting time.

I waited for about 2 hours like lining up for a ride at an amusement park to get into the revolving sushi restaurant. Finally, I was able to get in before 9 pm! The food was delicious as expected from Nemuro Hanamaru. The crab miso soup was especially amazing! I was happy to be able to sit down at Nemuro Hanamaru, as it was my first time since Hakodate. There is also a stand-up version in the same building, so if you want to grab a quick bite, I recommend that option.

This restaurant always has long lines, but using the meal vouchers from hometown tax payment allows for reserved time slots, so I have been dining there using the vouchers lately. This time, I tried the seared pork cheek and seared fatty mackerel for the first time, and both were delicious with rich flavors. Next time, I want to try the seared fatty tuna, which was sold out this time.

They were delicious with a moderate amount of fat and no fishy smell. The fresh squid had a firm texture and was tasty. I highly recommend the marinated herring in soy sauce, as the seasoning was excellent. The rolled fatty tuna for 420 yen was good, but the seaweed was a bit soggy. The marinated mackerel for 260 yen and the bonito for 340 yen were just okay. I had the "Zangi" fried chicken for 260 yen as a snack with the cold sake "Hokkai no Katsu" for 935 yen. The medium fatty tuna was average. The total came to 6,259 yen, which I thought was a bit expensive.
