To sneak off to Taiwan, Chibi (16/F) had to renew her passport and decided to meet in Yurakucho. Arrived at Toraji around 7 pm, but reservations were required. Still craving for the sight of the word "焼肉" (yakiniku) and feeling the heat, she hurried to a nostalgic yakiniku restaurant that seemed like it came straight out of "Lonely...". Here's a rough breakdown of the meal: - Beef tongue (very good, just the right thickness) - Kalbi (a bit fatty) - Harami x2 (the best, full of flavor) - Chicken thigh (Chibi's request, but didn't stand out much) - Beef tripe (delicious as usual) - Lettuce wraps x2 - Tofu salad - Kimchi - Kalbi hot pot - Rice. The total bill was around ¥16,000. The staff were not very friendly but provided solid service. By the time she left at 8 pm, the place was almost full with a slightly shady but mature clientele, creating a nice atmosphere. Chibi expected to spend around ¥5,000-¥6,000, but the experience was worth it. The meal brought back hazy memories of a local yakiniku restaurant from about 40 years ago.

I was intrigued by the slightly retro sign for yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and went up to the second floor. They open from 4 pm and have limited seating, so it's lucky if you can get in during peak hours. It's an old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant that has been in business for over 30 years. The tongue is quite good, one of the best I've had. It's not too thick or too thin, and the seasoning is just right. The kalbi is tender and has a nice amount of oil. It's so good that you'll want to order a second serving if you were younger. The yang (tripe) comes with senmai (intestine) attached, which is rare to find in restaurants, so I always order it when I see it. It's enjoyable to savor the texture and chewiness. The naengmyeon (cold noodles) has a mild seasoning. Personally, I think it could be a bit firmer. It comes with a can of mandarin oranges. The chashu (sliced pork) is delicious. The staff are attentive and easy to order from.

I had been curious about the yakiniku restaurant in front of Yurakucho Station. It always seems busy, but I was able to get a table right away on a late weekday night. I ordered beef tongue, kalbi, harami, yukhoe, and soup. Every meat dish was delicious.

I visited a yakiniku restaurant in Yurakucho that has been around for over 50 years. It is conveniently located near the station, so I stopped by on my way home. Although I was able to enter the restaurant near closing time on this day, it is usually fully booked in advance. I ordered the top 3 popular items - kalbi, premium tongue with salt, and harami, as well as loin and cold noodles. The premium tongue with salt is best enjoyed by squeezing lemon on it before grilling, which is the style here. The meat was thick and satisfying to eat, and very delicious. The kalbi, harami, and loin were also worth more than their price in terms of taste, making me want to come back again. The female owner was also very friendly and left a good impression.

【Nearest Station】1-minute walk from Yurakucho Station 【Budget】5000-7000 yen 【Overview】A yakiniku restaurant almost directly connected to Yurakucho Station! The inside of the restaurant is filled with smoke, which may cause your eyes to water a bit. They offer a variety of cuts including rare cuts like special zabuton, and their fresh liver and senmai sashimi are delicious and highly recommended! Although the cost-performance ratio seemed good at 4000-5000 yen according to Tabelog, be careful not to overeat even at a cost-effective restaurant. The atmosphere inside is traditional with a slightly narrow space, but the seating is well-spaced out between tables and tatami, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. 【Menu】 - 3 servings of sirloin - 4 servings of premium tongue with salt - 3 servings of kalbi - 1 serving of liver - 1 serving of premium tripe - 1 serving of pork belly - 4 servings of senmai sashimi - 2 servings of yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) - 1 serving of horumon (offal) - Kuppa (Korean beef stew) - Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice) - Rice, drinks Total: 36,000 yen We ended up overspending due to overeating and overdrinking. We had reserved the restaurant with my colleagues after work at 8:00 pm, and were lucky to secure a reservation on the same day, Friday. There were three of us, and we indulged in a lot of yakiniku. We overshot our budget by about 2.5 times, as we had originally calculated for 4000-5000 yen, but our tired bodies craved the yakiniku, leading us to order almost one serving per person of each item. Be mindful not to overeat! If you consume a moderate amount, you can enjoy the cost-effective and delicious premium tongue with salt, harami (skirt steak), premium liver, and senmai sashimi. - Premium Tongue with Salt: Initially ordered 2 servings for 2 people, but it was so delicious and we were so hungry that we ended up ordering 2 more servings after finishing the first round. The tongue slices are cut to about 0.8mm thickness, offering a satisfying texture. The seasoning is just salt and pepper, and squeezing lemon on it enhances the natural sweetness of the meat. Personally, I found it more delicious when eaten without any additional condiments! - Senmai Sashimi: Even though there were only 3 of us, we managed to eat 4 servings because it was so delicious! When eaten with the spicy miso sauce, it was incredibly tasty. The sashimi had a fresh and crunchy texture, making it a perfect accompaniment to drinks. If I had to nitpick, I wish they would increase the portion size per serving, as we almost ended up ordering 5-6 servings! - Premium Liver: It comes with seasoning and is a bit pricey at 1900 yen per serving. However, the high-quality liver, when grilled lightly, is delicious! It's not too heavy, and you can easily finish about 3 slices in one go. Although we regretted overspending this time, next time I plan to narrow down the menu choices to stay within budget. I would like to try other dishes like naengmyeon (cold noodles) on my next visit. Thank you for the meal.

[Nearest station] 1 minute walk from Yurakucho Station [Budget] 5,000 yen to 8,000 yen [Payment methods] Cash, credit card [Reservation] Same-day reservation [Menu] Beef tongue with salt x4, Yukhoe x2, Raw beef liver x4, Kalbi x3, Sirloin x3, Liver x1, Pork belly x1, Top skirt x1, Hormone x1, Kuppa x1, Stone bibimbap x1, Rice x5 Total 39,000 yen for 3 people (13,000 yen per person) [Comment] After work, we went to a yakiniku restaurant called Yurakukan near Yurakucho Station. We ate way too much this time. We were tired from the week and simply ordered based on our cravings, which resulted in going over budget. Overall, I think the cost performance is good, so if you want to eat delicious yakiniku, it's just right. The beef tongue with salt was thick and had a satisfying texture. It was so delicious that after eating two servings with my friend, I ordered two more servings. No regrets. It was delicious. And my favorite, raw beef liver and Yukhoe. It was a luxury for each of us to have one. And then we went even further by ordering more raw beef liver. The thickness and texture were irresistible. The rice went well with it. I realized that when I'm tired from work, I can't make rational orders and end up eating based on my cravings. However, it was so delicious that I couldn't resist my cravings. Thank you for the meal.

Yurakucho Station under the elevated tracks. A long-established yakiniku restaurant founded in 1964, right by the JR ticket gate. I've been curious about this place for a long time, so on a rainy weekend night, I decided to drop by without a reservation. Luckily, they had a tatami room available for just an hour! I went in without knowing anything about it, but the prices were not too high, the menu was extensive, and they even had the rare Yukke Bibimbap! The normal Kalbi and Tan were delicious, and I will definitely be coming back! It's a well-established restaurant, and I can't believe I didn't go there sooner. It was truly delicious and heartwarming. It seems to get especially busy on weekend nights, so I recommend making a reservation. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On the way back from Omiya expedition, I was drawn into the smoke of yakiniku at Yurakucho transfer. It's a shop that has been operating under the guard for nearly 60 years and anyone can feel free to visit♫ The shop is lively with a Showa-era atmosphere. I enjoyed lemon sour, senmai sashimi, and kimchi while waiting for the upper tongue salt. The tongue salt had a good volume, so I also added kalbi and kakuteki. I just kept eating and left the shop♫ It's great to be able to easily stop by on the way back♫ Thank you for the meal!

Yuraku-en is a long-established yakiniku restaurant located just a 1-minute walk from Yurakucho Station, or rather, it feels like it's part of the station itself. Founded in 1964, it has a rich history in Yurakucho. They are open for regular business hours from lunchtime onwards, so they don't have a lunch menu, which is actually great for those looking to enjoy a hearty yakiniku meal. I tried the beef tongue, kalbi, and harami. I wanted to try the premium harami, but it was sold out, so I settled for the regular harami, which was a bit tough. The meat is mostly frozen and the harami was quite hard. The kalbi was mostly fatty, so overall, the quality of the meat was not the best. The best part was the beef tongue, which was also frozen but tasted good due to its high fat content. The marinade and dipping sauce were excellent, and overall, the satisfaction level as a yakiniku meal was decent. I also had a large serving of rice. While it may not be the best yakiniku place, it's a good option if you're in the mood for a hearty meal. Check out my blog "Yakiniku Zukan" for more detailed reviews of yakiniku restaurants across Japan.

Founded in 1964, Yuraku-en is a traditional yakiniku restaurant located in Tokyo. The menu features top-quality meats such as Kagoshima A5 wagyu beef, tongue, and sirloin. The reviewer recommends trying the flavorful Kalbi with its sweet sauce and well-marbled meat. For a cost-effective meal, they suggest ordering rice and two servings of Kalbi. Overall, the reviewer enjoyed the experience of dining at this long-standing establishment.

There is a noticeable yakiniku restaurant called Yuraku-en on the second floor along the JR Yamanote Line Yurakucho Station. The traditional and charming atmosphere of the restaurant gives off a sense of its establishment in 1964. I sat at a table in the center of the restaurant and started with a cheers with a cold beer. The menu I ordered included: Senmai (beef intestine) sashimi for 930 yen, special cold noodles for 1050 yen, large rice for 380 yen, kalbi (short ribs) for 1350 yen, loin for 1350 yen, and premium tongue with salt for 1980 yen. The premium tongue was thickly sliced and juicy, very delicious. Next, I tried the Senmai sashimi, which had a crunchy texture that stood out when eaten with finely chopped cabbage and vinegar miso. Unfortunately, the harami (skirt steak) was sold out, so I ordered the kalbi and loin, which arrived on large plates. The meat was of good quality and cooked to perfection. The sight of the meat made me crave rice, so I topped the rice with the grilled kalbi and loin. The white rice was delicious. Lastly, I had the cold noodles as a finishing touch, which was refreshing and sweet and savory, with the apple shreds complementing the soup well. The noodles were smooth and satisfying. Enjoying the delicious yakiniku and cold noodles with beer in such a convenient location near the station, I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal. I will be back!

The restaurant was constantly busy late into the night, with customers coming in non-stop. I was happy to see they had fresh Makgeolli and Chamisul available. I decided to go there on a whim because I was craving for some horumon (offal), and it turned out to be a great choice! The horumon was affordable, cooked well without shrinking too much, and had a good portion size. I forgot to take a picture of the raw liver sashimi, but it was also delicious! And the kalbi noodles I had as a finishing touch were amazing, with chewy noodles similar to cold noodles and a soup that wasn't too spicy but still very tasty. It's conveniently located under the train tracks, so it's easy to access and highly recommended! 😊

The first yakiniku restaurant I went to left me feeling a bit unsatisfied, so I wandered around Ginza looking for another place to eat. It was a Saturday and most restaurants were closing up, but I eventually made my way to Yurakucho Station. There, I decided to try a yakiniku restaurant for the first time in my life, and it turned out to be a great decision. I started with a lemon sour for 480 yen, and ended up ordering three more throughout the meal. The kalbi (short rib) for 1,300 yen and the rosu (sirloin) for the same price were both beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection. The upper hormone for 1,280 yen and the gyara for 890 yen were also delicious with a good balance of flavors. The special cold noodles for 1,050 yen served as a satisfying ending to the meal. I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. The meat was all delicious, and I decided that from now on, whenever I'm in the mood for yakiniku around this area, this will be my go-to spot. It's conveniently located right in front of the station, so you can enjoy your meal until the last train without worrying about missing it.

Date 2021/10/09 Time 17:30 Crowdedness 100% Menu Salted Tongue, Premium Kalbi, Hormone Bibimbap Taste Salted Tongue: It was so delicious!! When I took a bite, it felt like my cheeks were going to fall off. The meat melts in your mouth instantly. It's very tender and requires no effort to chew, haha. Kalbi: This was also delicious. The fat wasn't heavy, it was light and refreshing. Every bite spreads the meat's umami throughout your mouth. The texture was also very good! It had a crispy crunch as you eat it. Hormone: This was also delicious of course, every piece was so tender you didn't have to chew at all. I will definitely come back here! Thank you for the meal ❤️

I had grilled meat such as tongue salt, beef tripe, harami, and kalbi after a long time. Although I'm not familiar with Yurakucho, I found a good restaurant near the station. The grilled items like tongue salt and harami were delicious. The vinegar miso for the beef tripe was excellent. Of course, I enjoyed it with beer and was satisfied.

Established in 1964, this restaurant is located right next to the Yurakucho Station exit. I was drawn into the restaurant on my way home from drinking, just as I exited the ticket gate. The interior exudes a Showa-era atmosphere and was almost full. These kinds of casual restaurants are really great. I ordered a platter of kimchi, salted tongue, and Kagoshima harami from A5-grade black beef. The menu may seem ordinary, but the barbecue dishes are delicious. The meat doesn't necessarily have to be A5-grade to be good. It's a barbecue restaurant where you can casually stop by on your way home. With almost 60 years of history in Yurakucho, it's clear that there's a reason for its popularity. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Yurakucho Station, under the elevated tracks, we had a quick meal, eating a decent amount within a short time, haha. We had Namul for ¥800, Kimchi for ¥590, Upper Tongue Salt for ¥1980, Upper Harami for ¥2800, Kalbi for ¥1300, Sirloin for ¥1300, Mino for ¥1050, Liver for ¥1050, Stone-grilled Yukhoe Bibimbap for ¥1700, and Special Cold Noodles for ¥1050. The meat in the photos is all for two people. We had about three drinks each, and the place has a long-established atmosphere that seems bustling with salarymen on their way home from work. The recent Tongue Salt was quite salty, but the Liver was the most delicious. The Sirloin and Mino were also good. We ordered quite a bit, so it might be a bit pricey, but it's a great location for a lively barbecue restaurant where you can have drinks after work!

The sign with "Established in Showa 32" is a landmark, and the interior of the restaurant is designed like a popular yakiniku place, but it is clean and welcoming for women. The staff may not be very friendly, but they are attentive in changing the grill and quickly clearing empty plates, which is impressive. The basic seasoning for the tongue was a bit too strong for my liking. If you ask the staff to make it lighter, it would be delicious. The quality of the meat was good! The loin (regular) was very tender and the sauce was delicious, so the regular portion was enough. I ordered the Kalbi, which was labeled as the No.1 menu item, but it was lacking in flavor, although it didn't feel too greasy, so it might depend on the seasoning. Perhaps it's labeled as No.1 because it's at the top of the menu and many people order it out of speculation... haha. The upper intestines had a good amount of fat and the sauce was good! Since the other items weren't as impressive, ordering the upper intestines is a must. The liver had a slight hint of a smell, but it wasn't too bothersome. The cold noodles can vary depending on the restaurant, but these were pretty good! The Yukhoe Bibimbap had a great sweet sauce for the raw beef, which was nice.

Yurakucho and Ginza, when it comes to yakiniku, I think this place is the best. It's a shame that smoking is still allowed, but it's conveniently located near the station, and the meat is delicious. There are plenty of options for meat and offal, and the side dishes like soup and Korean cold noodles are also recommended! I love the raw intestine here. The tongue, kalbi, and harami are a must!

A long-established yakiniku restaurant in front of Yurakucho Station. I visited as the second stop on a yakiniku crawl. Cheers with a lemon sour! I started with the harami and liver, both of which were of high quality for the price. The tongue salt, chosen from the top 3 of the restaurant, was quite thick. The size was small but delicious, although a bit pricey. I noticed a variety of customers, from families to solo salarymen dining.
