Today, I visited Ogawa, a sake shop that had moved from Tsukishima to Tsukishima due to the construction of a tower. The old shop had a charming atmosphere, but now it's quietly located on the ground floor of a residential building. They offer two lunch menus, and you pay upfront when ordering. They also accept PayPay now, which is convenient. As for the food, Ogawa is known for its sashimi, so I decided to try their lunch sashimi set. The sashimi was top quality, with thick cuts of tuna, red snapper, horse mackerel, octopus, sweet shrimp, scallops, and fresh fish from Toyosu Market. The tuna was refreshing, the red snapper had a nice texture from blanching, and the horse mackerel was incredibly fresh. The octopus was meaty and delicious, and the sweet shrimp was sweet and flavorful. The scallops were large and sweet, and all the fish were incredibly fresh. The sashimi set was a great value for just 1000 yen. The wakame seaweed served with the sashimi was perfect for adding to miso soup. The rice was cooked perfectly and went well with the sashimi. Overall, Ogawa is a great choice when you're craving fresh and delicious fish.

Popping in, today's lunch was a stroll around Harumi area. Exiting from Exit 10 of Toei Oedo Line Tsukishima Station, you will find yourself on Kiyosumi Street. Walk towards Kachidoki, turn left at the second traffic light, continue straight for a while, cross the Seikai Bridge, and a bit further on your left, you will see Harumi View Plaza. Enter this building, go up the stairs to the second floor, turn left, and you will find the restaurant I visited today, "Sakadokoro Shokudokoro Ogawa." The menu displayed outside the entrance listed lunch sets like sashimi set for 1,000 yen and daily special bara chirashi for 900 yen. I chose the daily special this time and entered the shop. The shop operates on a pre-payment system, so I ordered the daily special from the hostess standing at the kitchen on the right and made a barcode payment. After looking around the shop leisurely, I sat at a table in the back left and waited. After 9 minutes, the daily special bara chirashi was served. The bara chirashi included a colorful assortment of toppings on sushi rice, a side dish (potato salad), and miso soup. The presentation was beautiful and the variety of toppings was abundant. The flavors of the toppings spread in my mouth as I took a bite. Seafood is truly delicious. The miso soup was rich in flavor with a generous amount of dashi and shrimp. The balance of sushi rice vinegar and toppings was excellent, and I quickly finished the meal. Today, I enjoyed the daily special bara chirashi at Ogawa. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch adventure took me to the area around Harumi. I took the exit 10 of the Toei Oedo Line Tsukishima Station and found myself on Kiyosumi Street. Walking towards Kachidoki, I turned left at the second traffic light and continued straight for a while until I crossed the Seikai Bridge. A short walk to the left brought me to Harumi View Plaza on my left. Inside the building, on the second floor, I found the restaurant I visited today, Ogawa. Ogawa used to be located in Tsukishima but moved to its current location due to upcoming construction. The restaurant serves lunch from 11:30 to 13:30 on weekdays. I arrived at 12:30 and checked the menu board outside the entrance. The lunch menu included a sashimi set for 1,000 yen and a daily special of maguro sashimi for 900 yen. I felt reassured by the familiar style of the menu and went inside. The hostess informed me that the daily special was sold out but I could have the sashimi set instead. I agreed and paid upfront using a barcode payment system. The restaurant had a total of six customers, including two groups of two and one solo diner. I sat at the counter and waited for my sashimi set. It arrived in five minutes, consisting of a sashimi assortment, a side dish of bamboo ring and thick fried tofu simmered in sweet and savory sauce, pickles (daikon radish), rice, and miso soup. The sashimi assortment included akami (lean tuna), chutoro (medium fatty tuna), tai (sea bream), aji (horse mackerel), tako (octopus), and hotate (scallop). Each piece of sashimi was thickly cut and delicious. I enjoyed deciding which piece to eat next and savored the flavors. The akami was satisfyingly meaty, the chutoro melted in my mouth with its fatty richness, and the tai was expertly prepared with the skin still on. After finishing the sashimi and rice, I enjoyed the side dish and pickles before sipping on the miso soup. I left Ogawa feeling satisfied after a quick and delightful sashimi lunch.
