I have been trying spinach and cheese curry at various restaurants, but if you're looking for a Japanese-style curry rice with an Indian twist like Saag Paneer curry, this is the place to go. The portion size is good, and the cost performance is quite good, similar to Saizeriya. I had been eating discounted bento boxes and one-coin lunches at Orinas for a while, which were reduced to 300 yen, but warm Saag is still delicious.

I visited the restaurant for lunch after 12 o'clock. The seats were almost full. I chose two types of curry for lunch, Egg Keema and Mixed Seafood. I also had salad, Tandoori chicken, Saffron rice, Naan, and Mango Lassi for 1,150 yen. Both curries were delicious. The Naan was all-you-can-eat and delicious enough. Everything was tasty. It's a good value for the price.

I usually order the Sag Chicken set priced at 1600 to 2000 yen at Sag Chicken, but this time I decided to try ordering individual items along with a half-priced 300 yen bento from a nearby supermarket. I also got the Ice Masala Chai, which ended up being quite expensive. The Sag Paneer for 1250 yen was delicious, especially with the generous portion. The Saffron Rice was a bit small in portion, but you can choose curry rice instead of naan, which is a great option at this restaurant. The Green Salad for 700 yen was surprisingly large as an individual item, and it left me feeling very full.

I've been using the spring ticket at this restaurant while collecting stamps for the gourmet coupons at Rakuten Parco. Since March, I've been having lunch here quite a bit. Here are my reviews:
- Special Biryani Set (Mutton Biryani + Mutton Curry) for 1090 yen: The biryani is average compared to the Asian Curry House on the other side of Kinshicho. It's better to add curry for an extra 90 yen as the biryani itself is a bit bland. When mixed with raita, it tastes okay. It comes with salad, but it's a pity that it doesn't include a drink.
- Curry Lunch Set (Chicken, Spicy) for 970 yen: Comes with salad and a drink. I chose iced chai. You can choose between naan and rice, and both are refillable. The curry is moderately spicy, with a boost of simple chili heat. The amount of meat seems a bit less. Has it become less satisfying than before?
- Tom Yum Ramen for 950 yen: Comes with fresh spring rolls, but they are mostly vegetable and not particularly delicious. If you're in Kinshicho, Inchan's version is tastier. The Tom Yum Ramen seems like a half size in a small bowl for the set. The amount of drink included is not enough, so I'd prefer the 2-choice Thai lunch for 50 yen more. The taste of Tom Yum Kung is just average. The daily service curry for 680 yen is no longer available on many days. Have they stopped offering it? You need to tell the staff to get the spring ticket discount. They always seem unhappy when I ask for the discount after collecting stamps each time. Despite some issues and the impression that the taste has declined, I still need to go five more times to get the 500 yen discount for the last time.

A new restaurant opened in June 2022. It is located near the station, but relatively quiet, with spacious seating and good for large groups. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. You can also request to adjust the spiciness of the curry. They also serve Thai cuisine, so I would like to go again and try it.

I chose the chicken curry for my lunch set. It comes with salad and a drink, which is a good deal. You can also choose lassi. I'm watching my sugar intake, so I barely went for iced coffee (lol). The naan was freshly baked and delicious. The curry was lighter and more watery than I expected. Many people were eating Pad Thai, so I want to try that next time. It was eligible for the PayPay campaign. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Kinshicho to watch a movie and had some time before it started, so I wanted to sit down and eat a late lunch slowly. I decided to explore the underground mall and found a new place with Indian and Asian cuisine. It had a variety of menu options and wasn't crowded, so I decided to give it a try. It had a casual family restaurant vibe but was clean and new. I ordered a curry set with a lassi drink. The staff, an Indian man, was kind and helpful, despite his limited Japanese. There was a small white sauce-like thing on the side, which I mistakenly thought was for the curry, but it turned out to be dessert. I enjoyed the curry, although it was a bit salty and spicy for my taste, and I wished there was more chicken in it. The Gapaowas also a bit salty and didn't have much chicken, more like finely ground meat. The rice portion was small, so the saltiness lingered. I sipped on the lassi to balance it out and then tried the coconut milk dessert, which was sweet. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I could relax and enjoy my meal. There were some discrepancies between the menu photos and the actual dishes, which might explain why it's always empty. They also had some snack options, so I want to come back at night to try them out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you for the meal.

The 1000 yen beer set with great cost performance was a good deal, as it included a choice of beer and two side dishes for a total of 1000 yen including tax. I ordered Yum Woon Sen and Chicken Tikka, and both dishes had generous portions and were seasoned to my liking. I will definitely visit again.

I'm collecting gourmet coupons at Rakuten's Stamp, and as a result, I accumulated coupons worth 500 yen (equivalent to three coupons). It's nice to save while enjoying drinks at Saizeriya. During the promotional period, I ended up visiting the Innepa Asian restaurant in the basement of Kinshicho Alca twice. In November, they had a great deal on Biryani, so I went there. The first time, I mistakenly went on the wrong day and ended up having the daily service curry for 680 yen. The second time, I tried the Biryani Special Set for 780 yen and immediately used the 500 yen coupon. For the quick lunch, I had asparagus and chicken curry with salad. I chose the hot (spicy) level. The saffron rice portion was quite generous. The hot level had a decent spiciness, but the curry spice flavor was not very strong. The chicken was also fairly good. Not bad overall. The cheaper Biryani option for 650 yen doesn't come with a salad, but it includes raita and a drink. For an additional 130 yen, you can choose a mini curry. I opted for the lamb curry at the hot level. I had an iced chai as my drink. The Biryani set looked a bit visually weak, perhaps due to the cheap-looking plate or the lack of visible chicken (meat). However, I found some chicken tikka hidden under the rice, so at least there was chicken. Mixing the raita (a yogurt sauce with saltiness and acidity from cucumbers) with the mild and monotonous curry helped enhance the flavor. The mini curry portion was quite small, but the combination of the lamb meat and spiciness, along with the raita's acidity, transformed the mild Biryani into a more flavorful dish that was enjoyable to eat. The iced chai was a nice addition for the price. If you're looking to eat Biryani, there are plenty of delicious options on the other side of Kinshicho's south exit. This place might not be the best choice for Biryani, but it's affordable and suitable for those who are not fond of strong spice flavors. Considering the cost-effectiveness and the satisfaction of using the 500 yen coupon, I was pleased with my visit this time.

I went for lunch on a holiday and found an amazing hidden gem! There were surprisingly few people... I had a relaxing time. I love Thai food and curry, so I couldn't decide what to order. The recommended dish was butter curry, but I ended up ordering Tom Yum Kung noodles instead. Despite asking for recommendations, I went with something different. The Tom Yum Kung was coconut-based with a mellow flavor, and the noodles were like stretched out pho noodles. I felt like I had to eat quickly before the noodles turned into one big clump (´・ω・`). The set also came with delicious fresh spring rolls and mango lassi.

It is a beautiful restaurant where you can enjoy both Thai and Indian cuisine. I visited on a Saturday and had the special lunch set from the Thai menu called "holiday lunch". The holiday lunch is available until 5:00 PM. I chose the Gua Teet Tom Yum & Gapao. Fresh spring rolls came as a side dish. The Gapao had a generous portion and both dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and I would like to visit again to try more dishes.

Located in the Alca B1 floor in Kinshicho, this restaurant opened in June and offers a variety of dishes including Thai and Indian cuisine. I visited for lunch during the PayPay Sumida 20% cashback promotion. The menu is numbered, with Thai dishes available for lunch before 8, and Indian curry dishes available after 8. The Indian curry lunch, priced at 970 yen, includes a drink, but does not offer free refills of naan and rice. The daily special curry for 680 yen seems like a better deal. I decided to try the Thai cuisine this time and opted for the Suriya Special Combo for 1000 yen, which includes two Thai dishes of your choice, spring rolls, and dessert. The food was served promptly in a cafeteria-style tray and dishes. The Tom Yum Kung Ramen had a good balance of sourness and spiciness with plenty of ingredients, while the Gapaow Rice was flavorful with a generous amount of rice and ingredients. The spring rolls were mainly filled with cabbage and served as a light salad. The tapioca milk dessert was average. Most other customers ordered the Indian curry dishes. Overall, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly, but it could benefit from a more unique visual concept and a more relaxed table arrangement. I received a 50 yen discount for my next visit, so I might return in August to try the service curry.

Located in the basement dining and drinking area in front of Kinshicho Station, there is a spacious Indian and Thai cuisine specialty restaurant. The place is cool and comfortable with strong air conditioning, and the fact that the restroom is right next to it is a plus. They offer Nepalese ice beer, Lao Special, Momo, Chicken Curry, Garlic Naan, and Special Chicken Tikka. The Nepalese ice beer has a beautiful design featuring the Himalayan mountains, and it tastes refreshing and light. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively with a big TV showing the news. The Lao beer has a fruity flavor and is easy to drink. The Special Momo is Nepalese dumplings with a chewy texture and a slightly spicy sauce that pairs well with the beer. The Chicken Curry is a special curry dish with a hint of sweetness and tender chicken. The Garlic Naan has a strong garlic flavor that complements the beer perfectly. The Special Chicken Tikka is boneless chicken marinated in yogurt, cream, and spices, grilled on a hot plate with a sizzling presentation. The lassi served after the meal is also delicious. They accept PayPay payments. Check out their blog for more information.

Located 1-2 minutes walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station on the JR Sobu Line in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. ★First visit on July 29, 2022★ This restaurant is located in the Alca East Building B1 on the rotary in front of the station. I wonder what was here before this place opened? Was there a shop here before? It's not an Indian, Nepalese, or Sri Lankan restaurant, but a collaboration between Indian and Thai cuisine (laughs). It's the same Asian region, but the locations are far apart (laughs). I entered the restaurant on a weekday (Friday) around 18:50. There were 3 customers already seated and 2 customers came in after me. The interior of the restaurant is very bright and has a warm atmosphere with orange tones. The almost square interior consists of only table seats. The staff also seemed to be of Indian descent. Surya Thali ★★★★ ¥1620 (excluding tax) ◇ Keema Egg Curry (choose from No. 42-65) ◇ Beer (choose from soft drinks, glass of wine, beer) ◇ Green Salad ◇ Chicken Tikka Special ◇ Seekh Kebab ◇ Butter Naan ◇ Saffron Rice It was disappointing that the salad was not dressed with orange dressing, but the portion size was satisfying. Both the Chicken Tikka and Seekh Kebab were large and had a good texture. The Keema Egg Curry had no thickness, so I had to use a spoon to scoop it up with the naan (laughs). With rice included, I was full and satisfied. Everything was delicious. I always wonder how to eat those thin, crispy rice cracker-like things and when to eat them... I randomly broke them and used them as a beer snack, but...?

I had high expectations for this place, which is directly connected to Kinshicho Station on the Hanzomon Line, as they had been advertising their opening early on. On the third day of their opening, I went in while it was still crowded. I ordered the special curry set at the counter in the back. The food arrived quickly. Perhaps they had prepared in advance anticipating the crowds, as the naan was not hot. The curry also lacked spiciness, giving off a milder impression that seemed tailored to Japanese tastes. It felt a bit underwhelming. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Kinshicho Station is too specialized in Japanese-style curry restaurants like CoCo Ichi and Alba Curry, as well as South Venus and Asian Curry House for South Indian cuisine and locally-owned establishments. But finally, a family restaurant serving authentic curry has opened in front of the station. The staff seemed to think I would order as usual because I'm from Kameido, but I decided to try the revived quick lunch. The spinach curry here is a safe bet. It's not the typical spicy curry, but something even small children can enjoy. Plus, the spacious interior is perfect for families during this time of year.

The quick lunch special on weekdays is curry rice with a mini salad for 700 yen, which gives a feeling of a set meal at a restaurant. The Sag Chicken Curry is best enjoyed with medium spiciness.

The curry lunch was 990 yen, and I added 200 yen for cheese naan. It took 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The restaurant was a bit crowded, so the wait was a bit longer. The salad came out first, with a Japanese-style dressing instead of the usual orange sauce. The curry I chose was spicy and flavorful, and the cheese naan had a good amount of cheese with a slight sweetness and a fluffy texture.

The Saguchi Chicken on its own is cheaper, but it's great because you can quickly eat it in this form.
