Near the station, or rather inside the station building. A must-visit for Ultraman fans!!! The VTR inside the store is really entertaining. Every time you order food or drinks, you get a coaster with a monster on it. During your birthday month, you can take a photo with a monster. The wall murals and decorations inside the store will tickle the fan's heart!!! I'll come back again with my stamp card.

I visited for the third time because they had introduced a new menu. Normally, I only go during my birthday month, but I found out they also have limited summer menu items. Although not a collaboration menu, the potato salad was a bit disappointing because the bacon was cold since it was stored in the fridge. I would have preferred the bacon to be freshly cooked. The crispy chicken had a crunchy coating and was delicious. It was easy to eat. The soup curry had plenty of vegetables, which was nice. The face of Zeton was creatively made with cheese sticks and chicken wings, which was interesting. The curry wasn't too spicy, but it had a slightly sour taste, possibly from vinegar. The strong cola was large in size and you could add your preferred amount of alcohol, which was great. I added all three bottles. The squid ink spaghetti had more seafood like squid and mussels than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was also tasty. However, I didn't find the noodles themselves particularly delicious. The cookie vanilla ice cream with strawberries was a nice touch. There was sponge cake beneath the ice cream. But the cookie had salt sprinkled on it, and since I don't like sweet and salty combinations, that was a bit of a letdown. The Monster Bar has creatively themed menu items and they are delicious, making it a great quality izakaya. I plan to visit again next year during my birthday month.

Discovered a famous restaurant in the underground of Shinbashi, the interior is filled with monsters, it's dangerous. Visited with a friend after playing in Odaiba. The main point is the interior design of the restaurant, they have a wide variety of alcohol. I understand the restaurant's dedication. The craft gin and soda drink was delicious (Earth Conquest Highball No. 2). I definitely want to visit again soon. The Earth Defense Force is prohibited from entering.

The other day, I had lunch on a weekday at Kaiju Sakaba Shinbashi Joryujo, directly connected to Shinbashi Station! I had a meeting in Hamamatsucho in the late afternoon, so I decided to have a late lunch near Shinbashi Station. As I was transferring at Shinbashi Station, I noticed a mysterious restaurant right in front of me. Kaiju Sakaba?? What's that all about? The entrance looked like it belonged to some amusement facility. The inside of the restaurant was a bit dark, with figures of Baltan Seijin and various other monsters (I don't know their names). I don't remember being a big fan of Ultraman, but it felt nostalgic. I think when I was a kid, it was Ultraman Taro. I wonder if the series is still ongoing? I ordered the large portion of Napoli 400g for 780 yen. The lunch came with soup and salad. The lunch menu was quite ordinary, like a family restaurant or a cafe. I was in the mood for Napoli. The normal portion was already labeled as large, and there was even a bigger size available. Shortly after, a salad in a peculiar-shaped container appeared. It came with grated cheese and Tabasco. The peculiar shape was the claw of Baltan Seijin. The Napoli was the classic kind. The noodles were nicely stretched, and the taste was made by frying the ketchup. And when it comes to Napoli, you have to enjoy the balance of Tabasco and grated cheese for flavor variation. Normally, Tabasco is not served at Italian restaurants, but Napoli just feels incomplete without it. Nevertheless, Shinbashi is truly the salaryman's ally. For 780 yen, this was satisfying in terms of taste and portion. Thank you for the meal! #lunch #lunchtime #lunchideas #lunchtime #lunchbreak #lunchdate #lunchmenu #lunchspecials #lunchspot #lunchhour #lunchset #lunchplatter #lunchcombo #lunchbox #lunchgoals I went to the "Kaiju Sakaba" that was trending, not on Twitter, but X. Today, I am on a 2-night, 3-day Tokyo trip with my child. It was my third visit to Kaiju Sakaba in 2 years. It was around 1 pm in Shinbashi, where there was a line at the spaghetti restaurant "Gonbei," but Kaiju Sakaba was about 70% full. I came to enjoy the Kaiju collaboration menu and event menu (I heard that Zetton's curry is quite authentic...), but during weekday lunchtime, only the weekday lunch menu was available. Too bad! There doesn't seem to be much announcement from the official site, so if you are going for the Kaiju menu, please be careful (it will be available after 3 pm). With Torch and my child Summer, we ordered... Ethnic Chicken Curry (980 yen) and... Large portion of Napolitan (780 yen). Both come with soup and salad. The salad comes out in Baltan Seijin's hand (?). For weekday lunch, this is about as Kaiju-like as it gets. Now, let's start with the Ethnic Chicken Curry. I wondered if my child Summer could eat it, so I took a taste, and it was quite spicy and had a good amount of spices. This is definitely for adults. And it was more voluminous than I thought. I also ordered the large portion of Napolitan, so I was a little worried. The dressing on the salad was a bit light, so I mixed it with the curry. The addition of vegetables added a nice touch. This arrangement is recommended. Now, the large portion of Napolitan. If you order normally, it's 400g of Napolitan, but if you order the Kaiju portion, it becomes 600g. 780 yen for 400g of Napolitan is quite reasonable.

On this day, I got off at Shimbashi Station for a transfer. I decided to have lunch at this restaurant located right outside the underground ticket gate of the station. If you are a fan of Ultraman monsters, you will definitely want to check out this place. The interior of the restaurant has a bar-like atmosphere with Ultraman monster figures and original videos playing, bringing back nostalgic memories. I used to cherish the Sofubi figures of Dodongo, Eleking, Red King, and Pigmon that I received from my older cousin. I ordered the large portion of Napolitan for 780 yen (tax included), which comes with a default large portion of 400g. They also offer a "monster-sized" option of 600g, but the staff warned me that it's quite a lot, so I opted for the 400g portion in the end. It turned out to be the right choice as the portion was surprisingly generous and came with a side salad at such a reasonable price. The noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked in ketchup, making it delicious. Although the ingredients were a bit clumped together, mixing in the cheese helped to distribute them evenly. If I come with a bigger appetite next time, I think I can handle the 600g portion. Thank you for the meal!

Ultra Monster-themed cafe may not always have people in monster costumes, although they may appear at events. It would be nice to see the staff dressed as Ultra Guard members (perhaps as if they were caught and forced to work). The limited-time coaster souvenirs are a nice touch. The interior of the cafe is not bad at all, with stained glass featuring the Alien Baltan being a favorite. The food is reasonably priced for this type of establishment, and the drinks are quite unique and enjoyable. I especially liked the Megaton Highball. I would love to visit when there are monster appearances, although the reservation demand seems quite high...

I came to Shinbashi to check out a road bike. I pretty much have an idea of what I want, but now it's time for the final strategy meeting at the Kaiju Sakaba. We discuss various things like where to put the road bike once I buy it. These kind of moments are enjoyable, right? Well, riding the bike is the best part though. [Order] - Spicy chicken wings - Truffle potatoes As someone who grew up watching Ultraman, it didn't really excite or move me. But I did think the staff in their matching costumes looked cool! The chicken wings were delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited after 1 PM. There were seats available and I was seated right away. I ordered the Monster Meat Sauce with 600 grams for 880 yen. It came with vegetables and soup. The portion size was quite large. The taste was decent, with plenty of ingredients and served hot. It was a bit puzzling why the vegetables were in such a difficult-to-eat container.

Enjoy the world of Ultra Kaiju! At 11:30, customers started coming in one after another. The place quickly filled up. Inside, the monitors were showing epic battles between Ultraman and monsters from the past. The lunch menu was quite impressive. Each dish was delicious and the portions were huge. The meat sauce in the photo is a standard 400g! The Kaiju platter is a whopping 600g served in a cute crab-shaped dish.

When I went to Tokyo for work, I didn't have much time before my afternoon meeting, so I had a quick lunch at Shinbashi station. It seemed to be a restaurant popular among fans of monsters. The dishes looked like they were designed to resemble Baltan aliens' hands, which made me think washing them must be quite a task. Anyway, the food was delicious.

I went with my company's boss! We originally planned to eat and drink more, but we forgot to take photos (lol) The menu has interesting phrases, so it's exciting to see what comes out. They also sell goods, so if you're interested, definitely check it out (lol)

I dropped in casually. The drink menu was very extensive. I wanted to have a whiskey highball, but there were many options on the menu, including water, on the rocks, and straight. However, when I asked the female staff, she said water was not possible.

After drinking with a friend at Shinbashi Nishiguchi Street and parting ways, I passed by the same restaurant before taking the Asakusa Line, so I decided to take a look inside after a long time. I ordered Earth Conquest Highball 3, a cheese platter, and Western-style seared mackerel. Then, I ordered a cocktail called "Back to 1966 Melon Soda." The food was decent, but the drinks were not that great.

I started my business trip at Shinbashi-en and decided to eat at a nearby affordable restaurant. It seemed like an Ultraman-themed place, with only one other group of customers besides myself at around 11:20 am. I ordered the fried chicken lunch set because it was cheap. When the food arrived, I was surprised by the portion size. I thought it would be small because it was inexpensive, but there were about 8 pieces of fried chicken. There was plenty of cabbage, mayonnaise, salad, and even soup included. The fried chicken was hot and delicious. I was extremely satisfied! The price was only 780 yen, whereas the Chinese restaurant two doors down doesn't have anything under 1,200 yen.

Service: △ (The waiter was good, but lacked entertainment value and seemed a bit cold). Atmosphere: △ (There was a lively group that made it interesting, with a variety of customer types). After the first party of the reunion ended, feeling like I hadn't had enough to drink, I reluctantly said goodbye and came to this bar in Shinbashi. We ordered some snacks and went for highballs. As the name suggests, the setting is a bit dim and feels like a different world. The seats were full with other customers. Our conversation was lively and the highballs kept coming. The food was delicious and we finished everything. Thank you for the meal.

A cozy restaurant where both new and regular monsters enjoy their meals in a friendly atmosphere. Many solo monsters were seen relaxing and having a good time. I had a meal with Mephilas Alien. Reservations are necessary. The service is fast, and the staff explain the dishes well. Non-alcoholic drinks are very sweet, so those who don't like sweet things should be careful!

Shinbashi Distillery Ultra Monster Bar is a themed restaurant in Shinbashi that features various monsters and dark heroes from the Ultraman series. As a fan of Ultraman since childhood, I was excited to finally visit this place with friends after going out for drinks in Shinbashi. During the Halloween event in October, they offered limited edition menus featuring dark heroes like Ultraman Tregear. The restaurant had life-sized figures of Tregear on display, which delighted fans like me but didn't really interest my friends who weren't into Ultraman. The menu had a variety of original dishes inspired by famous monsters, although I wish there were photos to help visualize them better. In addition to the special menu, they also offered regular appetizers that weren't monster-themed. The restaurant was decorated with displays of monsters and aliens, adding to the fun atmosphere. For our first drink, we ordered beer served in a mug with a mean-looking fake Ultraman design. We paired it with a sausage platter and a special dish called "Takkong vs Zazan" which was octopus and seaweed ajillo. We also tried the fish & chips. The food was decent, but the main appeal of the restaurant lies in its themed decor and overall ambiance, making it a great spot for fans of Ultraman. Non-fans might not find as much to enjoy, but with a little extra effort to cater to a wider audience, this place could become even more fun for everyone.

I had known the name of this restaurant for a while and finally decided to visit. The restaurant is called "Kaiju Sakaba Shinbashi Joryujo." It used to be a place that served Aomori cuisine, and I had tried the Towada Barayaki there before. As soon as I entered through the secluded entrance, I was enveloped in a surreal and otherworldly atmosphere, where it wouldn't be strange to see Dada aliens or Metron aliens sitting next to you. The space was perfect for someone like me, an otaku. Initially, I was seated at a counter near the wall where I couldn't see the rest of the restaurant, so I asked to be moved.
I chose the Mixed Fry Lunch set from the table menu, except for the sold-out roast beef. The set included the main dish, rice, soup, salad, and tartar sauce served on a black plate resembling a UFO saucer. It had fried oysters, cream croquette, shrimp fry, and fish fry with shredded cabbage and lemon slices. It was a lineup that would bring joy to most earthlings.
The fried oysters had a hint of the ocean when dipped in tartar sauce. The cream croquette oozed white sauce when cut open, and the hot sauce spread a sweet and pleasant aroma in my mouth. The shrimp fry was robust and had a rich flavor typical of shrimp. I had to fold it in half to fit in the tartar sauce dish. The fish fry was enjoyed both with tartar sauce and soy sauce. The rice was served in a small plate, so I ordered a large portion, which provided just the right volume. The soup had a consomme flavor and was delicious.
Lastly, there was a salad served in a container shaped like Baltan alien's scissors, which was the only dish that truly reflected the theme of the Kaiju Sakaba. It was tasty as well. After finishing the meal with a gulp of cold water, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and amused. It was a fun and delicious experience, and it made me want to open my Ultra Monster Encyclopedia again. Thank you for the meal.
