I visited the Tsukishima store while taking a walk, as the main store always has long lines. I tried the seafood bara chirashi for 1350 yen. The store has a compact display case with samples and small portions of products. Besides their popular salmon, they also offer reasonably priced sushi like conger eel and shrimp for 1000 yen. However, I felt like they had fewer options compared to the main store. The seafood bara chirashi wasn't displayed in the case, but they made it for me in about 10 minutes. It consisted of vinegared rice, shredded egg, crab, squid, scallop, shrimp, salmon, and salmon roe, arranged like a jewel box. The vinegared rice had a light acidity, giving it a refreshing taste, and the crunchy texture of the silk gourd and lotus root was delightful. I think it would be a good spot for lunch along the Sumida River next time.

Last month, I tried Chishou Sushi, which opened recently. I bought a bento box for the first time at Daimaru and Mitsukoshi in Tokyo Station, and it was an experience I had never had before. The Chishou Sushi bento box, which is named after the restaurant, contains salmon and crab meat pressed sushi. I enjoyed it as a delicious lunch box without worrying about carrying it around. There are other delicious bento boxes available, such as conger eel and chirashi sushi, so I think they will be very convenient in the future. Although it is a small shop without an eat-in option, it is definitely worth a visit to Tsukishima.
