In August 2023, I had dinner at a restaurant called "#Hirokiya Roppongi" in Roppongi. The restaurant offers high-quality fresh meat dishes and delicious yakiniku. We ordered a variety of dishes including kimchi, namul, miso yukke, R yukke, urute sashimi, gold, silver, and copper tongue assortment, thick-sliced salted harami, delicious tare red meat, and bone-in tail. Each dish was flavorful and unique, and we enjoyed the experience of grilling and tasting different cuts of meat. The atmosphere was calm and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great yakiniku dining experience.

Roppongi Station, 5 minutes walk from exit 3, "#Hirokiya Roppongi". This time, I tried the Hirokiya Challenge Course for ¥10,000. The order included Namul platter, Kimchi platter, Miso Yukke (choose your flavor), R Yukke, Ulte sashimi, a platter of gold, silver, and copper tongue, a delicious sauce platter of lean meat, "today's" carefully selected hormone platter, additional Yukke bento, thick-cut Harami. Starting with Kimchi and Namul, the Kimchi platter was excellent! It had a variety of options from the standard ones to some unusual ones like pickled Chinese cabbage, tomato, cucumber, and eggplant. The first Yukke was customizable, and I chose the Miso Yukke, which I had never tried before. It had a surprising taste, with the sweetness of corn complementing the texture perfectly. The R Yukke had a generous amount of sauce that made the meat almost invisible, but the taste was amazing! It paired exceptionally well with rice. The Ulte sashimi was a delightful addition, especially in Tokyo! The crunchy texture and sesame oil seasoning were irresistible. The tongue platter included gold tongue (Tanmoto), silver tongue (Tannaka), and copper tongue (Tanshita). It had a deep, soft, and flavorful taste, with a hint of koji seasoning. I also added the recommended thick-cut Harami, which had a great texture and tasted delicious with garlic soy sauce. The delicious sauce platter of lean meat included Shinshin and Kameno, both providing a rich flavor experience. The "today's" carefully selected hormone platter had heart and green pepper mino, each served with wasabi mustard and Korean soy sauce or vinegar. Lastly, the Yukke bento was beautifully presented and tasted great when mixed with Korean seaweed. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option made the meal even more enjoyable. The variety of Yukke dishes and the high-quality meat at this location in Roppongi for this price point made it an excellent dining experience!

I was nervous about completing the ice cream-like appearance of yukhoe, but I'm glad I succeeded (laughs). R Yukhoe is placed on a bite-sized rice and eaten. It goes so well with rice, it's the best~! ◆ Ulte Sashi I've been into Ulte recently. The crunchy texture is irresistible. ◆ Kimchi 4 types assortment ◆ Namul 5 types assortment ◆ King Tan, Silver Tan, and Copper Tan assortment The classic Tanmoto, Tannaka, of course, were soft and good. Had a great time at Hirokiya Roppongi branch! The Yakiniku was delicious and fun, a true representative of Japanese cuisine. I especially enjoyed the Yukke, Ulte, and the bento box. The thick-cut Harami I ordered separately was also incredibly tasty. The fact that it includes all-you-can-drink in Roppongi at this price is really satisfying. I want to bring all my friends here. Hirokiya Roppongi "Roppongi" Menu: Napa Cabbage Kimchi, Avocado Kimchi, Tare Yukke, Salt Yukke, R Yukke (Roppongi exclusive), Ultimate Thick-cut Salt Harami, Wagyu Tare Harami, Large Shimacho, Green Pepper Mino, Garlic Tsurami, Yukke Bento (Roppongi exclusive), Hirokiya Rich Dan Dan Cold Noodles. Hirokiya Roppongi is the second branch located in Ebisu, and like Ebisu, it offers a wide variety of raw meat dishes with four different kinds of Yukke alone, making it a must-visit for raw meat lovers. On this day, we used a private room for four people. Starting with the raw meat menu, we ordered Tare Yukke, Salt Yukke, and R Yukke. The Salt Yukke was as delicious as in Ebisu. The Tare Yukke was well pounded and seemed best eaten on top of white rice. The R Yukke had thinly sliced marbled meat with homemade sauce underneath and plenty of egg yolk sauce on top, slightly strong in flavor but acceptable when eaten with white rice. The grilled dishes we enjoyed were the thick-cut Harami and hormone dishes. It was nice that the staff taught us how to grill them. To finish, we tried the Yukke Bento, which had a nice mix when shaken in the bento box, similar to Bibimbap. It seems necessary to shake it vigorously to mix it nicely. With a wide variety of raw meat and visually appealing menu items, this restaurant seems to cater to a younger crowd. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I used it for dinner on a regular day. The meat is thick and the yukhoe is fresh with no unpleasant heaviness! Especially the prime tongue is firm and has a good texture to chew, and although it is thick, it is light so you can eat it easily. It's not just about the appearance, it's a great restaurant.

Simple yet stylish atmosphere.【Order】Cheers with a Lime Squash! Refreshing with plenty of lime juice and not too sweet, perfect with grilled meat. They have a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks which is great! I also ordered the orange juice which comes in 3 varieties depending on your preference. For food, we chose the following a la carte items: - Namul Assortment: Lightly seasoned, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavors of the vegetables. - Miso Yukhoe: A popular dish with raw beef on corn with a hidden egg yolk. The sweetness of the corn and the saltiness of the beef are addictive. - Kimchi Assortment: Eggplant, cucumber, tomato, and Chinese cabbage. So delicious!!! I went to Hirokiya Roppongi, a great yakiniku restaurant, and ordered the recommended dishes a la carte. The raw meat and grilled dishes were all delicious, and the experience was exciting and fun. They offer course menus as well, including options with just food or with all-you-can-drink. It's a great place for hanging out with friends or going on a date. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Isomaru Suisan building on Outer Garden East Street. They have also recently started late-night operations on Fridays and Saturdays. I really wanted to eat Yukhoe, and when it comes to Yukhoe, I think of Hirokiya! So I visited just before the last order. They kindly served me even though it was the last order. Order: Kimchi assortment, Miso Yukhoe, R Yukhoe, One bite rice, Beef tongue. I have loved Kimchi since the first time I tried it! The assortment is recommended. The tongue has a good texture and is my favorite. R Yukhoe has a strong seasoning, so it goes well with rice. Miso Yukhoe goes perfectly with corn. It seems they are open late on Fridays and Saturdays, so I would like to visit again.

The meat here makes me want to come back regularly. The menu is extensive and everything is delicious. There are three types of tongue, and the quality of the meat is good with a satisfying texture. The service is great, so I had a pleasant dining experience again this time. Definitely a place that is perfect for social media with the hashtag "#HirokiyaRoppongi". It has become so popular for lunch in Ebisu that there are often long queues, and in May of this year, a second branch opened in Roppongi. I had been curious since the days of Hiroke-ya when I couldn't get a reservation, and finally had the opportunity to visit. This time, we ordered what we wanted to eat and recommended items a la carte, and shared them among four people. Our order included: - Kimchi assortment - Namul assortment - Miso YUKKE - R YUKKE limited to Roppongi - Ulte sashimi - Assortment of gold tongue, silver tongue, and copper tongue - Ultimate thick-cut salt harami - "today's" delicious sauce red meat (shinshin) - Bone-in tail - Rich Giala miso - Roppongi limited YUKKE bento Just the YUKKE alone was served in three dishes, and we tried different parts of the tongue - tongue base, tongue middle, and tongue tip. The menu includes unique items like bone-in tail. The most delicious dish was the R YUKKE. First, beautifully marbled meat is generously covered with egg yolk sauce. The thinly sliced large YUKKE is rich and creamy with the egg yolk coating, and the melting fat underneath is irresistible to raw meat lovers. The rich egg yolk sauce has depth of flavor with hints of garlic, making it a delicious sauce. The thick-cut harami was also exceptional. The thick slices of meat are slowly cooked until the outside is crispy. When paired with garlic soy sauce, the savory garlic, the aroma of the meat, and the rich fat make it incredibly delicious. The side dishes were also outstanding. The Ulte (cartilage) had a sesame oil flavor and a crunchy texture that surprised us all. The kimchi was richly seasoned, almost like it could be eaten with rice, and the use of ingredients like tomatoes was unusual. Frankly, I wish they sold this kimchi. While courses are great, I also think it's nice to order a variety of dishes and enjoy them little by little.

I ordered three different kinds of Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) which looked amazing with lots of photo opportunities. However, the fat in the Yukhoe didn't sit well with me and my appetite took a nosedive. I recommend sticking to just one type of Yukhoe. The frozen Yukhoe flakes I ordered online had a heavy fat content as well. Also, for the cone-shaped Yukhoe, they ask the designated person to finish it off by squishing it with their hands, which can be off-putting depending on who does it. It's recommended to choose a designated person beforehand and make sure they wash their hands thoroughly. The soap in the restroom was from Shiro, which was nice. Overall, the quality of the meat was so-so, and I wish they offered better quality meat considering the prices. If I had to choose a menu item to try again, it would be the delicious sauce with lean meat assortment or the Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). I'm a bit concerned if they can survive in this competitive dining area with this quality of meat at this price point.

I was finally able to visit Hirokiya, which I had been curious about! They have a wide variety of delicious yukke dishes and a great selection of drinks! The beef tongue was tender and easy to eat. The cold noodles were also very delicious. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal♪

Next to the Roppongi Hills building, on the 3rd floor of the building next to it, you will find a restaurant with a red sign. We dined in a private room. They offer course meals, but this time we opted for a la carte. We tried the following dishes: Kimchi assortment for 1320 yen, Namul assortment for 726 yen, Miso Yukhoe for 1980 yen - a unique dish where raw meat is served on top of soft-serve ice cream, creating a fun dining experience. R Yukhoe (Roppongi exclusive) for 2200 yen, Ulte Sashi for 1045 yen - a dish made from cow throat cartilage with a crunchy texture, Gold Tongue, Silver Tongue, and Copper Tongue assortment for 1320 yen, Ultimate Thick-cut Salt Harami for 3300 yen - perfectly cooked by the staff, delicious and juicy, "Today's" Delicious Sauce for 1760 yen - tender and sweet, Bone-in Tail for 1430 yen - rich and fatty, Gialla Miso for 1320 yen - chewy and fatty, Yukhoe Bento (Roppongi exclusive) for 1650 yen - a bento box with rice and Yukhoe ingredients that you mix together and wrap in Korean seaweed. They also offer a Caramel Ice Cream dessert. This restaurant is great for group dining and the meat dishes are all delicious. I look forward to trying their course menu next time.
