It's a bakery. The most popular item is the crispy curry bread for 185 yen, followed by the premium red bean paste bread for 220 yen. The red bean paste bread has a combination of whipped cream and chunky red bean paste inside. The crispy curry bread has a crispy crust with a sweet and spicy curry filling. They offer a variety of breads at this shop.

It was quite crowded. It seems to be popular. It's a Yamazaki group. I bought it in Sendai and Takenozuka before, and it was delicious, so I bought it in Saitama Shintoshin. Croque-monsieur? It's a bit similar to VIE DE FRANCE's. They are from the same group.

Both families met up at our parents' homes and went out together. We decided to meet in Ryogoku, with one family taking the Toei Oedo Line and the other taking the JR Line. To make sure we didn't arrive late, we planned to arrive 30 minutes early. We chose a location that was easy for both families to reach and decided to wait there. We wanted to have some bread and coffee, and were happy to find out they offered a toast set in the morning. You could choose from three types of bread, and also choose between coffee or tea. I chose the silk bread with marmalade and American coffee. The set included salad, toast, and coffee, all for 400 yen. Considering the current exchange rate, that's only 2 dollars in USD. In America, you couldn't even get a cup of coffee for that price. It's a shame that Japan is such a cheap country, as it makes it hard for salaries to increase. The salad was fresh and crunchy, with French dressing and a boiled egg on top. I spread margarine on the toast and added the egg from the salad. The bread was smooth and delicious. The second slice I had with marmalade. The American coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but overall it was a convenient and satisfying meal. The seating area was small, with 4 seats at the counter facing the window and 3 small tables for two people. Thank you for the meal.

The nearest station is Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Line, just a 2-minute walk away. I couldn't take a proper lunch break for work, so I visited to buy some bread. I chose the Crispy Curry Bread (194 yen) and the Corn Bread Tartar Fish (389 yen). The Crispy Curry Bread had a crispy texture with a doughnut dough and a well-balanced taste between the bread and the curry filling. I chose the Corn Bread Tartar Fish because it looked delicious. It had a rough surface and a sweet dough, and the bread, tartar, and fish all blended well together. It wasn't incredibly delicious, but I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I wonder if the condensed milk filling is necessary for the caramelized characters of milk and cheese. The mini croissant and strawberry mini croissant are delicious with strawberries kneaded into the dough. The salted butter bread and morning bread are manufactured by Yamamori Pan. They are not baked here.

I had an early lunch here. They offer a variety of breads, from deli-style to sweet pastries. I think they didn't have baguettes. I ordered a ham and cheese bread and a curry bread. The ham and cheese bread had a Camembert-like cheese oozing out from the inside. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A bakery located near Ryokoku Station at a prominent intersection. The exterior is labeled as "THE Town Bakery" and the items sold have a simple charm to them. Despite lacking sophistication, it seems to be popular among older men, as it was filled with businessmen in the morning. They offer a honey butter bread for 90 yen and American coffee for around 380 yen. Surprisingly, a cute young woman was working at the register, although she seemed a bit reserved. She whispered softly that she spilled some coffee, which was quite charming. The bread is generously filled with honey and pairs well with the coffee. While the taste of the bread is not exceptional, the atmosphere of the place is calming and relaxing.

During a stroll around town, I made a detour to a bakery. The shop was bustling with about 6-7 people during lunchtime, but it wasn't too crowded. They had a wide variety of delicious bread, and I definitely want to visit again. Here are some of the items I tried:
- Premium Anpan (Red Bean Paste Bun with Cream) - 173 yen: It had a stamp of a sumo wrestler, and was filled with plenty of cream and red bean paste. It was visually satisfying and would make a great gift.
- Crispy Curry Bun - 173 yen: The outer layer was crispy and crunchy, and the spiciness of the curry was just right. I loved it from the first bite.
- Sweet Apple and Honey Curry Bun - 194 yen: A classic sweet curry bun with a nice sweetness. It's easy to eat, even for kids.
- Wiener Roll - 238 yen: Freshly baked, the soft bread and juicy sausage caught my eye.
- Croque Monsieur Sandwich - 194 yen: A favorite of mine. Buttered bread with ham and cheese inside... it's definitely delicious.

Ryogoku Station is far from the main station, so it's closer if you exit from the opposite side on the Oedo Line! I've seen Yamazaki Bakery's San Etoile in Tokyo before, so I decided to visit the Ryogoku store for the first time. When I went before 7pm, many items were already sold out, showing how popular it is. The caramelized milk and cheese, as well as the salted butter bread, were sweet and perfect with coffee. It was delicious. For more details, check out my blog: https://zan3tho.com

The bakery is located near the guard underpass along Kiyosumi Street where students from schools like Nihon University Affiliated High School often pass by. This time, I bought the following items:
- Salami and Olive Baguette
- 4 Nut and Chocolate Danish
- Sweet Potato Apple Pie
- Italian Panini
The baguette was delicious and would go well with white wine. The panini was packed with onions and tomatoes, complemented by refreshing cheese and perilla, making it very tasty. The photo has been adjusted for brightness, but the interior of the shop is slightly dim, despite not being in the shadow of the railway tracks. The place was clean and the staff were friendly.

I love curry bread, but I'm currently hooked on plain bread. And it's cheap... I think a loaf of bread was around 160 yen? It seems a bit too cheap, but I bought it anyway. Also, I tried a sweet treat. It had custard cream inside and was incredibly delicious. And the plain bread. I had a slice raw and it was so delicious!! Just my style. I will definitely go buy more. Next time, I'll also try the curry bread. I used to buy red bean buns often. It was over 10 years ago.

My spouse and I went for a stroll in Ryogoku today and visited "San Etoile Ryogoku Store". It's a bakery located within walking distance from Ryogoku Station, along Kiyosumi Street. It seems to be a chain store. There is seating for 12 people inside for dining in. We visited around 10:30 am and despite the small size of the store, customers kept coming in one after another. One of their famous items is the Ryogoku branded red bean bun for 165 yen. This time, we bought the pork croquette roll bread for 248 yen and the red bean donut for 151 yen. The taste was not outstanding, but it was simple and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a bakery located in Ryogoku with a Tabelog rating of 3.12. I visited this bakery after buying lunch at Donmaru and feeling like I needed more. The inside of the bakery was quite crowded, with people everywhere. There was also a seating area for customers to dine in, and many people were using it as a cafe. There were mostly female customers dining alone, and the few staff members were busy making coffee and handling payments. I bought a few of my favorite pastries and enjoyed them later in the evening. The gratin bread was especially delicious, and I think it tastes even better when heated up. Chain bakeries these days are really tasty. I was impressed by the efforts of these companies to offer a variety of delicious pastries in all their stores.

I discovered this bakery near the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku. It seems to be a chain store. They were selling a unique product called Sumo Bread, which had a sumo wrestler's body shape but was a bit wrinkled and saggy...lol. I bought their Salt Butter Bread (110 yen excluding tax), which was a safe choice. It seemed like it had been made in advance, with some parts being a bit crispy. The surface was slightly dry, but not hard. The butter flavor was rich and the saltiness was just right. Overall, it was a delicious bread.

Visited around 12 pm on Saturday. The shop is not very big, with half of it being an eat-in area (around ten seats) and a drink menu available. I ordered take-out bread: Premium Anpan for 173 yen, Sumo Wrestler Cream Pan for 140 yen, and Bacon Potato Dog for 292 yen. Unfortunately, they got slightly squished on the way home. The Premium Anpan had a sumo wrestler imprint, with a fluffy texture, plenty of cream and red bean paste filling, not too sweet, and delicious. The Sumo Wrestler Cream Pan was shaped like a sumo wrestler and had a nostalgic taste. The Bacon Potato Dog had a generous amount of potato filling and was quite filling.

Bakery located along Kiyosumi Street on the east side of Ryogoku Station. It was raining heavily, so I decided to head home instead of drinking in the Ryogoku area. I found this bakery near Ryogoku Station and bought a Croque Monsieur, a mini croissant, and a mini sausage croissant. The bakery was about to close, so some items were sold out and the staff were starting to clean up. The Croque Monsieur was a bit dry, probably because it had been sitting out for a while. The mini croissant and mini sausage croissant were better, with a slightly crispy texture. I enjoyed them with some drinks at home and before I knew it, it was already 11:30 PM. I quickly cleaned up and went to bed.

This cozy little bakery offers a variety of savory and sweet breads that are perfect for a snack after a meal. Their selection is just right, and I always end up buying at least 5 items! With reasonable prices and delicious flavors, it's a shop that I can't help but stop by.

A bakery near Ryokoku Station. It always seems busy with customers whenever I pass by. It seems like a lot of locals come here. The most popular item seems to be the anpan. It has a fluffy dough with cream and red bean paste. Personally, I prefer the red bean paste with whole beans. The other bread also looked delicious.

I stopped by a bakery near the station. The shop isn't very big, but they have seating for eating in, which is convenient for commuters. They have a wide variety of sweet bread, and they also sell hefty hamburgers. Their specialty is a bread with a sumo wrestler's branding, filled with cream and red bean paste. I didn't buy that this time, but maybe next time. I purchased a chocolate croissant and a pizza bun. They tasted as expected. I enjoyed them as a snack at 3 o'clock.
