I revisited a restaurant after a few years, hoping to taste the unforgettable malt-flavored hamburger I had before, but was surprised to find that it had been transformed into an Italian restaurant. The lunch set was a pasta lunch for 1980 yen (excluding tax), which I thought would include just the malt-flavored hamburger and rice, so I was quite shocked. Despite my initial disappointment, the restaurant seemed to be bustling with customers, so the renovation must have been successful. The appetizer platter included a green salad, smoked potato salad, eggplant in tomato stew, and basil cream sauce with fried chicken, with the latter being the award-winning dish at the fried chicken grand prix. For the main course, I chose porcini and pumpkin gnocchi, which turned out to be sweet and chewy, with the rich taste of porcini lingering in my mouth. The dessert looked tempting, but I decided to skip it. Personally, I preferred the restaurant's previous menu.

I visited "BONDS HOUSE" in Ishihara, Sumida-ku for lunch. The atmosphere was family-friendly and many women were also dining there. They have indoor and terrace seating, but I chose a table inside. For lunch, my companion had the Amatriciana while I had the Carbonara set. The appetizers included delicious chicken karaage seasoned with salt koji, ratatouille, potato salad, and salad. The chicken karaage was so tasty with a deep flavor from the koji. The Carbonara was rich with creamy sauce and bacon, served with thick noodles and a good amount of black pepper and cheese. The Amatriciana had a tasty tomato-based sauce with chewy noodles. The staff were friendly and good-looking. If you live nearby, I recommend giving this place a try.

A shop located midway between Ryōgoku Station and Kuramae Station. The interior is unusually open and stylish in this area. They offer reasonably priced lunch sets that leave you feeling full and happy. The pasta was deliciously chewy and amazing.

We were seated at a terrace table. The food was delicious and the manager, I think, was very friendly. It was a lovely restaurant. It was quite busy so it took a while to get our first order, but that's understandable with so many customers. The origin of the name "Bons" is also wonderful, I would love to go back again.

When winter comes, Bonz House sets up kotatsu tables on their terrace. I've always wanted to go there since it's close to home, so I went with Tao for what we called dinner but was more like a drinking session. They have a wide variety of Japanese sake, so we did a tasting and enjoyed it. It was nice to be able to get drunk and easily head back home. Ace was all cozy in the kotatsu for the first time.

The restaurant had high Google ratings, so I had high expectations when I went. I ordered the 1300 yen fried chicken lunch. The staff were friendly and when I placed my order, they said, "I'll bring you something really delicious!" which raised my expectations even more. First, I had a salad. The dressing had a strong vinegar taste and there were slices of purple turnip or something similar on the greens. After finishing the salad, there was a bit of a waiting time before the appetizer. The fried chicken seemed to be taking a while to cook. Finally, after about 15 minutes, the plate arrived. It included the main dish and soup. The lunch was a set course, but the portions were quite small. There was a small dish of carrot salad, a small cup of corn potage, about 6 pieces of fried chicken, and a small bowl of rice. The carrot salad was just a bite, the soup was about two sips, and the rice was about 90 grams. The fried chicken came with mustard sauce, yuzu juice, gochujang sauce, and teriyaki sauce for flavor variations, but the staff recommended eating it without any sauce. The fried chicken was not very juicy and the taste was quite plain, so the sauces helped enhance the flavor. The rice was not very tasty, so I enjoyed it more with the mustard sauce. Overall, the fried chicken was similar to the kind you might find in a homemade bento box, not exceptionally delicious. The restaurant seemed to be trying their best to provide a good experience, but there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of portion size and value for money. It felt a bit lacking. The tiramisu dessert was light and delicious.

There were three terrace seats, and on a beautiful day like today, it looked very comfortable, but I chose to dine inside the stylish restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Although the deep-fried chicken using koji looked tempting, I was in the mood for curry today. The simmering curry was served, with a nice aroma and fried vegetables on the side. The spiciness was mild, and the chicken was flavorful. The corn soup and yogurt with sweet koji and honey were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The nearest station is Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Line, a 5-minute walk away. During the early stages of the corona pandemic, I was distributing flyers near the Summit store nearby, and I had been curious about this restaurant since then. I visited for lunch and ordered the salt koji marinated fried chicken plate (with a drink) for 1,300 yen. Everything was just okay. It took 15 minutes from ordering for the salad and drink to arrive. I wish the drink had been served earlier. According to the staff, it is supposed to be the most delicious fried chicken in the world, but it took 25 minutes to be served and the quantity and taste were just average. There are 4 types of fried chicken sauce, but in the end, only the shikuwasa was necessary. Above all, the amount of rice was too small. I understand that it's a stylish restaurant, but I wish they would put a little more effort into everything.

Bonz House is located about a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station. The interior of the shop is stylish and has a very calming atmosphere, highly recommended! The fried chicken was very tender and full of flavor. It was incredibly delicious. The carbonara was extremely rich and flavorful, I was surprised! The dressing for the smoked salmon and mushroom salad was light and tasty, with plenty of salmon. I was happy with that. The drink menu was extensive, with many original cocktails available. There were lots of cute and strong options! Highly recommended for a date or girls' night out!

I visited this restaurant on a whim on a regular day. I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in a while for a meal. The location is in a residential area. Before entering the restaurant, I was surprised to see that they had dog-friendly outdoor seating! The outdoor seating was like a kotatsu, and even on a cold day in March, there were a few customers sitting outside. The specialty dish was the Negi-dare fried chicken, and I also tried the carbonara pasta from the selection of about six different pasta dishes. Both dishes were just delicious. We ordered a tiramisu to share, and it was a generous portion so it was just right for us. For drinks, we had beer and glass wine. They also had some fancy sours that seemed like something girls would enjoy. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. It turns out the restaurant is run by a group of dancer friends, which added to the friendly vibe. The staff seemed to have fun with DIY projects like the chairs in the restaurant, and they happily shared their stories with us. I heard that there is a main branch in Harajuku, and I'm happy to find such a stylish restaurant in Ryogoku.

A trendy café that prides itself on using koji. I had some fried chicken. You can pour various sauces over the fried chicken as you like. The sauces are rich in flavor, so I ran out of rice quickly (lol). There were customers with dogs at the outdoor kotatsu seats. The staff seem to enjoy chatting with customers. It's a café that girls would love.

I visited during lunchtime with my dog! This is a dog-friendly restaurant with a terrace. The terrace and sofa seats are currently available, and they have a kotatsu setup, which was very cozy and comfortable! The staff here love dogs, and my dog was very happy. They don't offer water for dogs, so I brought my own. The lunch menu is around 1000 yen. They have a variety of dishes using koji, and I tried the fried chicken set and curry, both of which were delicious. Breakfast was listed on the menu, but it seems to be only for guests staying overnight. I really want to try it! The staff work at both the guesthouse and the restaurant, creating a homely and stylish atmosphere. Despite being busy, the staff were very kind. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again soon!

I arrived for my reservation just before 7:00 PM, but the restaurant was already full. The menu was available to read through a QR code, but paper menus were also provided for those who preferred. The menu had a good amount of options, not too overwhelming or limited. I ordered the "Homemade Salted Miso Fried Chicken" and the "Special Char Siu Rice Bowl". I added the fried chicken as a set for an additional 350 yen. We had to wait about 30 minutes as we were a few orders behind, but the preparation was efficient and enjoyable to watch. - Salted Miso Fried Chicken: The exterior was crispy, but the inside was incredibly tender and not greasy at all. It was delicious! The chicken was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. The rice I added was cooked very soft, which made me happy as I prefer softer rice. The miso soup was also delicious. - Special Char Siu Rice Bowl: My companion ordered this, and it was seared in front of us with a burner, which was exciting. After searing, it was topped with a special sauce and egg yolk. It was incredibly tasty! I was surprised by how tender and flavorful the char siu was, as I had expected something fattier and richer like what you might find in a ramen shop. The salted miso added a nice touch, creating a light yet meaty dish. If you enjoy tender meat, I highly recommend trying this dish! I made a mistake with the cashless payment amount during checkout, but the staff handled the refund and correction smoothly, reassuring me that it was okay. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back soon. Next time, I'll try the Char Siu Rice Bowl! Additional Review: I visited the restaurant for the second time. The taste was still delicious, but I noticed something worth mentioning. The clientele seemed younger, and there was a friendly, casual atmosphere with the staff greeting each other like friends. This was the case during both my first and second visits, and based on other reviews, it seems to be the usual vibe. Perhaps due to the guest house attached to the restaurant. If you prefer a quiet and calm environment, this may not be the best fit. Just adding this for those who enjoy a friendly atmosphere.

A stylish cafe that suddenly appears in a residential street. It also seems to function as a guest house, as guests returning from their stay were seen. There were sofas outside where men were skateboarding. The staff, all men, were very polite and had a calm and kind demeanor. The interior had tatami seating and a couple of table seats. I checked the menu using a QR code and decided to go with the set meal that was available until 5 pm. I chose the chicken cutlet set for 1,100 yen, without rice. The chicken cutlet looked like Karaage, but it was not crispy and was delicious. The portion was generous and filled me up. They also had a variety of alcohol options, and I would like to go back to try some items a la carte while enjoying a drink. The restaurant was eligible for PayPay cashback until the end of October.

I went there suddenly, and it was delicious! They seem to have won the Karaage Gold Award. If you write a dessert review, they will give you a service. The staff members are friendly and talkative. The older brother is from the 95s generation.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and relaxing. The dishes, such as fried chicken and salad topped with crispy bacon, were delicious. The alcohol was also reasonably priced and tasty, so the cost performance was quite good. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

I visited the restaurant with two friends. It's a place I've been curious about for a while since it's located nearby. The interior of the restaurant was all handcrafted by the staff. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, making our conversation enjoyable. The food was delicious, with the fried chicken being crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The pasta was chewy and the tiramisu had a light sweetness and was fluffy, which I really liked. The creme brulee was caramelized right in front of us with a burner, adding a fun live element to the experience. I think it's a hidden gem in a residential area.

A shop attached to a guesthouse. I made a reservation through Go to eat and went there. It's a little far from the station, but I think it's convenient for those staying at the guesthouse. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡
