I visited Ginza Hakobune Daiginjo Shizuku for lunch on a regular day. The restaurant is located in Ginza 8-chome, about a 6-minute walk from Ginza Station and Shimbashi Station. Hakobune offers private rooms for all guests and serves Koshinetsu-style kaiseki cuisine. With private rooms, it is suitable for business entertainment, dates, and even families with children. I made a reservation in advance and visited with a group of 5 people. We were guided by a female staff member in traditional Japanese attire to a private tatami room where we took off our shoes and sat down. The spacious room with a sunken kotatsu table was very comfortable. We were served the course meal we had reserved in advance. - Seasonal appetizer platter: A beautifully arranged assortment of appetizers. The grated new potatoes were delicious with a gentle flavor. Other items included Niigata-produced edamame jelly and trout nanban-zuke. - Hokuriku fresh fish platter: Kanazawa-produced bluefin tuna, sea bream, and horse mackerel. - Duck stew: Prepared with taro, wheat gluten, and sweet potatoes, the duck was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was exquisite. - Echigo beef crystal grill: Tender Echigo beef with a generous serving of vegetables, a luxurious dish. - Fresh tofu with turtle shell sauce: A strong-tasting dish featuring shrimp, loofah, and broad beans, perfect for pairing with alcohol. - Mixed grain rice with Shonai silk and sansho pepper: Made with Koshihikari rice from Minamiuonuma and Shonai silk, a perfect ending. - Kyu Hachi Seicha tea from Kaga: Moist and with a mild sweetness. The addition of a small kiwi provided a refreshing acidity. After enjoying some drinks, the bill came out to around 7,000 yen per person. The impeccable service in the private rooms left us completely satisfied with our lunch. We were even escorted to the elevator outside the restaurant. Considering the location, service, and quality of food, the cost performance is excellent. I look forward to using this restaurant for various occasions in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

During the pandemic, I finally had a dinner meeting that had been postponed for over half a year. I chose this place in the Ginza area to entertain two close business acquaintances. There was a course pairing various types of sake with Hokuriku cuisine, but we opted for the all-you-can-drink course as it included 10 high-quality sake options. The price was 16,000 yen. Both of my companions love sake, so this was the perfect choice. The restaurant, located in a beautiful building facing Ginza Street, was filled with promising establishments. The female staff members were very elegant and friendly. We started with a toast of beer and then proceeded to enjoy one cup of sake at a time, in order from light to heavy, as requested. The sake was all delicious. Although the pairing with food was not intentional, we had a great time tasting and discussing the flavors. The dishes were outstanding, from the appetizers to the steamed conger eel, sashimi, and salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch. The portion of the final rice dish was generous as well. In the end, we savored a total of 11 types of sake, including some not on the list, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied after a delightful two and a half hours. Considering the location and the quality of the experience, this was a very affordable and worthwhile choice.

To escape the stifling heat, I came here. It was a shop inside a commercial building, but it felt like a tranquil space far removed from the hustle and bustle outside. I enjoyed a cute lunch with a refreshing drink. I will definitely come back at night next time. Thank you for the meal.

The food took a very long time to come out on this day. It took 2 and a half hours for the lunch course, even though the members I was with were not slow eaters. We were nervous the whole time waiting for the dishes to arrive. The quality of the food was decent for the price, and the location in Ginza is convenient, especially since they are open on Sundays.

I ordered the course and it was very delicious. They had a wide variety of sake, which was impressive. We were surprised when the bill came to over 70,000 yen for the three of us, mainly due to the expensive sake. Let's be prepared next time.

Basically, it is a space similar to Kitaoji for private discussions. I used it for a business lunch. I didn't have time to take photos or enjoy the taste, but the Tazuna-ni was quite delicious. It reminded me of the Tazuna-ni at Taishiman. The other ingredients were visually appealing, but didn't leave a lasting impression. Thank you for the meal.

We used this restaurant for a meeting between our families. It was our first time visiting, so we were a bit nervous, but the staff were very kind in guiding us and explaining the dishes, making us feel comfortable. The food and drinks were delicious! We would like to use this restaurant again for another special occasion. Thank you very much.

I visited after 5.6 years. My impression back then wasn't great, to be honest. However, this time it had improved quite a bit. The menu is centered around ingredients from the Hokuriku region. It's well-balanced and the portion size is just right. There is also a wide variety of sake options, and the sake vessels were of good quality. I think it's a good place to casually enjoy kaiseki cuisine. Thank you for the meal.

I tried the "A Meeting of Sake from the Hokuriku-Shinetsu Region: All-You-Can-Drink" course. The food was decently tasty, and being able to choose from 10 types of sake was a plus. However, the staff's hospitality was lacking, the explanations of the dishes were insufficient, and they were quite strict on time, making us feel a bit rushed to leave.

I made a reservation at a stylish Kaga cuisine restaurant in Ginza 8-chome, near "Kyubei", for a friend's job change celebration. Located in a beautiful building with an elegant entrance similar to an office, you take the elevator to the 6th floor. We were guided to a private room by a graceful waitress in a kimono. We ordered the most affordable course, the "Ai" course. The menu included various dishes such as Shinshu Kinoko and Tofu, appetizers, sashimi platter, grilled salmon, steamed sea bream, rice with chestnuts, and dessert. We also ordered additional snacks like Mackerel Heshiko and Fugu roe pickled in bran. The course was designed to pair well with sake, with a good balance of light and flavorful dishes. The restaurant had a great selection of Ishikawa prefecture sake, which complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, it was a sophisticated and elegant restaurant, perfect for entertaining sake enthusiasts.

When dining out for a meeting, especially for a lunchtime private room meal, choosing a restaurant can be a dilemma. If alcohol is involved, it can help to relax a bit, but this time we're skipping the beer toast, so I'm pondering here. The set course for one person is packaged at 3,500 yen, and the operation is done by ringing a bell. Hmm... with such a systematic approach, it's actually quite refreshing. I guess I'll have to explore various options on foot. Lunch meetings are truly complex.

On the Thursday before a major holiday, I searched for a Japanese private room restaurant, but there were few options and it was my first visit. The restaurant had a decent rating of 3.41 on Tabelog. I dined with 5 colleagues and ordered the "Sai" course for 8800 yen. The private room was calm and the food seemed promising. The first dish was sazae (horned turban) with celery. It was seasoned with irokaki (shaved bonito flakes). Hmm, it seems like it was pre-made and served cold. This made me a bit worried. Unfortunately, all the dishes that followed were also served cold. Even the firefly squid garlic oil dish was self-heated, so aside from the rice, everything seemed pre-made. There was no explanation of the dishes (such as the type of fish for sashimi). The sake cups were made of tin, which was a nice touch. Essentially, this restaurant in Ginza relies on its location and fancy decor. I wonder why it has such high ratings.

We used it for lunch with a large group on a holiday. We had a course meal, and the timing of the dishes being brought out was just right - not too fast or too slow. The variety of drinks was unique, and we had a pleasant time. The carefully prepared dishes were delicious. We had a great time with lively conversations.

All of the dishes were delicious. Some photos were taken after I started eating. I couldn't help but think that maintaining private rooms of this size in this place must be quite costly. The staff were wonderful and the atmosphere was great. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I enjoyed lunch at the Kaga cuisine restaurant "Shofukusake" in Ginza 8-chome. The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the Ginza 888 Building. My favorite restaurant, Ginza KOSO, is also in the same building on the 8th floor, so it was nice to visit 888 again. This time, I used a private room plan for 3,500 yen with a One Drink included, which was a small glass of Niigata local beer, Swan Lake Beer. The private room was a sunken kotatsu style, which was relaxing. The atmosphere was like a room in a Kanazawa ryokan. The meal started with appetizers, sashimi, simmered duck, grilled ayu, Kinshiuri somen, rice, miso soup, and steamed cake. The timing and service of the Kaga cuisine dishes were good, and I enjoyed the meal in the private room. I felt that the portion size was slightly small, but overall, it was a recommended experience to savor Kaga cuisine. I also felt like going back to Ginza KOSO for their steak lunch after a long time. (laughs)

On the 7th floor of the same building, there is a traditional hearth restaurant with waitresses in kimono serving Japanese cuisine and sake. The restaurant uses ingredients from the Joshinetsu region and finishes off with Niigata rice. The first beer we had was made from rice and had a noticeable sweetness. The ale we tried next was also delicious. The dishes were meticulously prepared and much tastier than a mediocre ryokan. We were impressed by how we could enjoy the meal until the end without getting tired of it. However, there were so many dishes that we couldn't finish everything and left some rice uneaten. This restaurant truly shines with its selection of sake. The menu had a wide variety of sake to choose from, and we tried them one by one. The delicious sake went down smoothly. The tin sake cups added to the experience, making the chilled sake even more enjoyable. Despite the young waitresses, the sake recommended for the final drink after the meal was rich and flavorful, and incredibly delicious. The combination of the delicious food and sake led to lively conversations, but we had to move to another room to make way for the next reservation. It was a delightful dining experience, and we look forward to visiting again.

I visited the restaurant at 12:30 on a regular day. The staff greeted us in traditional Japanese attire. The atmosphere was elegant and the building entrance had a nice vibe. We made a reservation for 4 people (3 adults, 1 infant) through the Ikyu website. We each ordered the lunch course for ¥1,980 per person, which included a drink. The beer was ¥800 (served in a cute small glass). The food portions were a bit small, but maybe it's because I'm currently breastfeeding. The meal consisted of elegantly presented small dishes, rice, pickles, miso soup, and dessert. It seemed like a lot of food, but I was still a bit hungry when we left around 3:00. The service was attentive and accommodating. When I asked to change my baby's diaper, they provided an empty private room without hesitation. They also had thin cushions and blankets for the baby in the main dining area. It was my friend's birthday soon, so we ordered a dessert plate for ¥500 and the staff even offered to take a commemorative photo with the dessert before we ate it. Good service really does complement delicious food. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Even when we were leaving, they bowed until the elevator doors closed. It's nice to see a restaurant that treats lunch customers with such care.

"The price is reasonable for a lunch meeting in a private room in Ginza. The private room was small and the lighting was dim, but it wasn't a big issue. The presentation was nice and the menu was carefully written. The ingredients served were average, but having a menu made it feel a bit more upscale. The rice and dessert were small but well-prepared, making it a suitable restaurant for us middle-aged customers who value quality over quantity."

I used it as a celebration lunch. The first thing that impressed me was their response to allergies and preferences. They confirmed each person individually and provided accurate responses. When I think of a kaiseki meal, I imagine getting really full, but here it was just right. (I also had some alcohol, so there might have been some distortion in my judgment.) The reason why the rating isn't higher is because the food was just delicious at a normal level... Thank you for the meal!

The service at this restaurant was perfect for hosting guests, with the waitstaff showing exceptional manners and timing. They would discreetly leave us alone when we were discussing business, provide detailed explanations of the dishes when we were chatting, and gently remind us to eat if we were getting too caught up in conversation. The extensive selection of rare Japanese sake was perfect for entertaining guests who enjoy sake. It was a bit pricey, but understandable given its prime location in Ginza. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I think both the private rooms and the cuisine are very elegant and suitable for entertaining guests. There is a wide variety of sake available, and they are all delicious. While cheap alcohol may cause a bad hangover, all the alcohol here is refined, and the local sake from Hokuriku is new and unique. The Suzu sake cups also have a rare feel to them. I would definitely like to use this place again in the future.
