I have used this izakaya for dinner before, but this was my first time having lunch here. As they specialize in Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, the restaurant is decorated with Hiroshima Carp goods here and there. The lunch menu only offers "niku-tama soba" and "niku-tama udon," with the option to add toppings. I ordered the "niku-tama soba" for 800 yen without any additional toppings. It takes a bit of time as they cook each okonomiyaki individually after ordering. When served, it doesn't come with mayo or aonori, you have to add those yourself from the condiments on the table. Since it's Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, it has a thin batter with plenty of cabbage and noodles, and the pork belly is cooked well. I was worried that having something heavy like flour for lunch might be too much, but it was surprisingly easy to eat. The main focus here is on their izakaya business at night, so I'll definitely visit again in the future!

On August 6, 1945 at 8:15 am, an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. When I think of Hiroshima, the first thing that comes to mind for me is the restaurant called "Netsu Netsu Chains". My wife and I visited the restaurant as a way to pay tribute. We sat at the counter and looked at the menu. On that day, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki was being offered at a special price of 500 yen. We chose toppings of seared green onions with mayonnaise and a fried egg. We observed a moment of silence for one minute and then cheered with a draft beer priced at 550 yen. Our order included Hiroshima vegetables with kimchi for 380 yen, two Hiroshima oyster cream croquettes for 560 yen, the specialty "Gansu" for 620 yen, which is incredibly delicious when eaten with fresh shichimi pepper from Otake. We also tried Hiroshima Carp's Carp Can Chu-Hi Grapefruit for 390 yen, Hiroshima's sake "Shiso Daruma" for 420 yen, a green tea highball for 420 yen, salt and pepper grilled beef corn for 690 yen, and cheese tempura made with squid from Onomichi for 480 yen. It had been a while since I watched a baseball game, and although I am originally a die-hard Dragons fan from the Chubu region, as I've grown older and experienced more, I've come to appreciate all teams equally. That's why I was able to enjoy cheering for the Hiroshima Carp at this restaurant. Each dish allowed us to fully enjoy Hiroshima, and we had a delicious meal with our drinks. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely come back again!

In Hiroshima, they don't specifically call it Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. Of course not. Over there, that's the default. It's characterized by a mountain of cabbage, boiled Chinese noodles, and squid tempura. And locals skillfully use a spatula to eat it straight off the hot plate. The sauce is where preferences differ. While Hiroshima okonomiyaki is typically served with Otafuku sauce, other options like Carp sauce, Mitsuya sauce, and Sennari sauce are also available. It seems they use Otafuku sauce here, but they also have Carp sauce. Unfortunately, I'm a Mitsuya fan, so that's a letdown.

Office district in Nishi-Shinbashi, Tokyo. Lunch at a teppanyaki restaurant underground. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, Chains lunch set. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (soba) for 800 yen. The main dish for lunch is Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki! Thought flour dishes might be a bit heavy for lunch, but this okonomiyaki is Hiroshima-style. A thin batter with a lot of cabbage steamed on top. Plenty of cabbage gives a healthy image. Since you can't cook okonomiyaki yourself, there's no need to worry about the smell on your clothes as it is cooked in the kitchen. It's been a while since I had Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. Looking forward to it! Sat down and placed my order. Noticed there were two options, meatball soba and meatball udon. Ordered without specifying which one. Wonder which one will come out? Each piece is carefully steamed, so it takes a bit of time for them to be ready. Waited for 15 minutes. A large plate with the okonomiyaki cut into 8 easy-to-eat pieces. Covered with egg on the surface, yakisoba and cabbage peek through the gaps. Sauce is already drizzled on top, but I sprinkled my favorite seaweed on one piece and took a bite. Mmm, delicious! But, the portion exceeded my imagination! Indeed, it's packed with steamed cabbage, but there's a large amount of firm yakisoba with a unique texture. It's like the firm noodles you'd request in Hakata tonkotsu ramen. *Realized my lack of expressive ability... This yakisoba is the star of the dish. Slightly sweet okonomiyaki sauce with fragrant seaweed. It's tasty! Just the portion is top-notch. The firmness of the soba might be making it feel that way. It may seem monotonous, but the textures of the soba, cabbage, egg, etc., make it enjoyable till the end without getting tired of it. Ideally, it should be enjoyed slowly with a cold beer, but today it's lunchtime, so I'll have to endure. By the time I finish one plate, my stomach is full! Even though it's a small portion, using wheat flour in the batter seems to make it filling!

I stopped by on my way back from shopping in Ginza. I have always eaten okonomiyaki before, but this time I made my debut with Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. The restaurant was filled with Carp red colors, and they cooked right in front of the counter seats, which made the deliciousness even better. Here are the dishes I tried:
- Limited quantity today's teppanyaki wrapped salmon: 720 yen
- Thick-cut cheese bacon: 630 yen
- Shiso-wrapped pork: 550 yen
- Hiroshima lemon freshly squeezed sour: 450 yen
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lively. It was a great experience!

After finishing my sales rounds, I suddenly had a craving for okonomiyaki and quickly searched for a place nearby. I found a promising restaurant right next to Uchisaiwaicho Station, within walking distance from Shinbashi, in the basement of Kokusai Building. The vibrant red decor, surrounded by Carp baseball team uniforms, makes you forget you're in the heart of Tokyo! Since it was still early, this time I ordered a Hiroshima lemon soda for ¥360, which was quite sour and instantly refreshed my dry throat. Of course, being in Hiroshima, they had a variety of "oyster dishes" and teppanyaki options at reasonable prices. I ordered the following items:
- Hiroshima oysters grilled with butter and soy sauce (4 pieces) for ¥760, which came with plenty of mushrooms, a delightful surprise.
- Teppan egg roll with cheese for ¥530, a speedy menu item where thinly spread egg is topped with lots of cheese and rolled up, meltingly delicious with optional mayo on top.
For the finale, I had the voluminous Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki! You can choose udon or soba noodles, various toppings, and watch the staff cook it right in front of you (a privilege of sitting at the counter). I ordered the Powerful Deluxe (with double meat and fried egg) for ¥1150, which was different from the usual Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki I've had, with thinner noodles. Despite the generous amount of cabbage and other fillings, it was surprisingly compact. The dish was packed with ingredients and noodles, and if you can't finish it, they kindly offer takeout service. The staff were very friendly, and dining here always lifts my spirits. If you're looking to eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki in Tokyo, this will be my go-to place from now on! Located in the underground Nipponbashi alley of the Hibiya International Building, this izakaya specializes in Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and teppanyaki. It's a trendy establishment with a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional alleyway. Here's what we ordered:
- Teppan Tamago Roll: A fluffy and melty egg roll with a generous amount of gooey cheese. The savory flavor pairs perfectly with drinks.
- Domestic Wagyu Hormone Yaki: Tender and melt-in-your-mouth hormone (offal) grilled to perfection. The sauce is delicious, and the dish is packed with crunchy vegetables.
- Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki "Gatsuri Doubles" (Mochi and Cheese): The mochi is delicious, and the yakisoba has a crispy and chewy texture. In Hiroshima, it's a custom to finish a meal with okonomiyaki like this. The portion is quite generous, but they kindly packed up the leftovers for us to enjoy later at home.
- Hiroshima Lemon Soda: A refreshing soda made with premium Setouchi lemons. The tangy flavor pairs wonderfully with the okonomiyaki sauce, leaving a refreshing sensation in your mouth.
With many counter seats available, this is a great spot for solo diners looking to unwind after work. The décor features Hiroshima Carp memorabilia, making it a must-visit for Carp fans.

This is amazing!! (laughs) The love for Hiroshima is strong. A shop that is particular about Hiroshima's soul food. The interior of the shop is all about the Hiroshima Carp. Let's start with a toast with Carp plum wine! The Hiroshima oyster dishes all look charming. I wanted to savor the oysters themselves, so I ordered steamed oysters. Big oysters!! Freshly steamed oysters are served. They are plump and delicious. Next is the famous Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. A powerful big brother cooks it on a hot iron plate with great skill! It's a generous portion. The sauce has a nostalgic taste and is very delicious. Let's visit three shops in Nigokoji Street! Unique and dedicated dishes, delicious shops full of human warmth in the alley, recommended for bar hopping!

I visited the restaurant before 11:30 am. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with Hiroshima Carp uniforms, making it clear that this is a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant. Since it opens at 11:30 am, I was the first customer. I ordered the Okonomiyaki Lunch (700 yen), Double Egg (100 yen), and Cheese (free). The okonomiyaki was reasonably priced and tasty. On that day, there was a year-end campaign, so the cheese was free. It took about 20 minutes to cook the okonomiyaki, probably because it takes time to make. It was lightly seasoned with sauce, and toppings like green onions, bonito flakes, spicy sauce, and mayonnaise were self-service. I took a bite without adding any toppings. The batter seemed to have less flour. The impression was strong with the double egg and yakisoba, so it might just be my perception, but the taste was decent. However, it tasted better with mayonnaise and sauce. Although it was just one okonomiyaki, I felt quite full. For 700 yen, it was a satisfying meal, so the cost performance was good. The taste was also delicious. However, if you are in a hurry, it's better to avoid it because it takes time to cook.

I felt like eating Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, so I visited this restaurant. It is within walking distance from Shinbashi Station, but the location may be a bit difficult to find as it is located in the corner of the B2 floor. Hiroshima is known for its oysters, and the fried oysters were also delicious. There are many types of okonomiyaki to choose from, starting with either soba or udon, and then you can choose three toppings to go with it. The kimchi was not too spicy and the rice cake had a nice chewy texture. The lemon sour drink was very refreshing and delicious, especially the freshly squeezed one for its tangy taste. At the counter, they cook the okonomiyaki right in front of you on the iron plate, giving it a live cooking experience and allowing you to enjoy it while it's still hot! I visited with my child, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating to children, which made me happy. Thank you very much.

Hibiya City, located in the basement of Hibiya International Building, has a teppanyaki restaurant called Sun. For lunch, you can enjoy Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. The default meatball soba is only 700 yen. This is a great deal for this location. You can add shiso leaves for an extra 50 yen, making it a total of 750 yen. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is known for its complex cooking process which takes time, so be prepared for a wait as there is only one chef cooking in front of you. The soba noodles are steamed and go well with the light sauce and sweet cabbage toppings. It's a simple yet delicious dish that captures the essence of Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. I recommend going for lunch when you have some extra time to spare.

I sometimes crave Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. I heard there is a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant run by a chef from Hiroshima located on the 2nd basement floor of Hibiya International Building directly connected to Uchisaiwaicho Station. It's called Nichigoji, and it is situated in a unique drinking district where various food and beverage establishments are crowded together, creating a lively atmosphere.
I tried the following dishes:
- Hiroshima lemon freshly squeezed sour (450 yen)
- Grilled oysters with butter and soy sauce (4 pieces for 760 yen)
- Various mushroom with butter and soy sauce (700 yen)
- Fried small sardines (430 yen)
- Aki purple (180 yen)
I also ordered toppings for my meatball soba, including egg (200 yen), cheese (100 yen), kimchi (100 yen), squid tempura (150 yen), grilled green onion with mayonnaise (150 yen), rice cake (100 yen), and large leaf (50 yen). I got all the toppings, and I was surprised that the kimchi flavor did not overpower the dish. The rice cake was cut in half, so depending on where I ate, I got either squid tempura or rice cake, creating an enjoyable experience.
The most unique presentation was grilling green onions with mayonnaise on top. The mayonnaise made the green onions soft and enhanced the flavor. It was fun to watch the live cooking in front of me. This experience made me want to visit Hiroshima someday. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki lunch, the Nikudama soba is too delicious! I love flour-based dishes, and Chains' Nikudama soba is bold yet delicate! Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is characterized by its "layered grilling" technique, where a crepe-like batter is piled high with cabbage, bean sprouts, and pork, then steamed before being topped with yakisoba and egg, creating a layered effect like a mille-feuille. Cooked on a hot griddle, the perfect balance of heat brings out the vegetables' flavors, and the visual presentation upon serving truly showcases the love for okonomiyaki. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki has thinner noodles. The appearance and cross-section are both beautiful and impressive! I also added squid tempura and cheese toppings, and I was completely satisfied. The Hiroshima lemon cider was refreshing and paired perfectly with the okonomiyaki. The manager and the staff were kind and attentive, even though they were busy. It's no wonder they have many fans. I want to go back soon to try the oyster cream croquettes. The delicious food made me want to go back right away. Despite being in an office building, the reasonable prices were also a pleasant surprise.

I visited a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant in Uchisaiwai-cho. The atmosphere inside the restaurant, which is popular among Carp fans, was great! The Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with lots of vegetables and thin skin was delicious. They also served Hiroshima-produced SAKURAO gin, Akimurasaki pickles, steamed oysters, and Daikoku-san shichimi pepper, which showed their love for Hiroshima. When I visited with my vegetarian friend, they were flexible and provided us with suitable appetizers. It's a warm and accommodating restaurant!

The restaurant is located in the basement of the Hibiya International Building, and it's tucked away at the back, so I couldn't find it and ended up circling around once. The owner, who is from Hiroshima, is very friendly and engaging, so even if you go in alone, it's a fun place to be. He kept me company while I waited for my friends, which I really appreciated. The dishes, especially the appetizers, are incredibly delicious and you'll want to keep eating them. The oyster cream croquette was a unique dish that you don't find in other places, and it had a sophisticated flavor that was too good to resist! They're about to reach 10,000 okonomiyaki sales soon! I took a picture of the okonomiyaki, but I'll skip sharing it, but they topped it with shiso and cheese, and it was an amazing Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with noodles that were just the right thickness.

I visited this place where two food stalls are lined up. I ordered the pork and egg soba for 700 yen with an additional topping of grilled green onion mayo for 150 yen. When it comes to okonomiyaki, it takes time to cook. However, I was able to quickly find a seat at the counter during lunchtime, so I thought it would be easy. But because okonomiyaki is popular for takeout orders, there was quite a wait before they started cooking, so be careful if you're short on time! Finally, the okonomiyaki arrived. The default sauce is the Otafuku sauce, but you can also choose from Carp sauce or Mitsuya sauce. This time, I went with the default Otafuku sauce. I also added the grilled green onion mayo topping. The okonomiyaki was cooked, and then they generously topped it with finely chopped green onions and plenty of mayonnaise before searing the surface with a gas burner. The performance was fun, and it increased the junk food factor, getting me excited. They cut it into bite-sized pieces on the griddle with a spatula, and I enjoyed it by cutting it to my size with my own spatula on the plate. Since it's Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, the edges of the crepe-like batter on top are not too hot, but if you venture into the center, you'll definitely burn yourself. My first bite impression was that it was deliciously junky! The grilled green onion mayo topping was a great choice, as without it, I might have gotten bored halfway through. At least, that's my personal opinion. The ingredients include bean sprouts, cabbage, pork, and yakisoba. This must be thanks to the skill of the cook! It tasted as delicious as if I were eating it in its hometown! Next time, I want to try ordering takeout!

On April 8th, I visited a place for the first time and as far as I know, they have a limited selection of default toppings but they offer a high-value okonomiyaki that is one of the best in Tokyo. After a meeting at Iino Building, I found the restaurant before it opened. The staff welcomed me and mentioned that it would take about 10 minutes to prepare the okonomiyaki, so I decided to wait. They were preparing take-out orders on the hot plate. I realized that you cannot eat directly from the hot plate at this restaurant. After finishing my meal, I spoke with the owner and learned that they couldn't accommodate direct hot plate dining due to fire prevention regulations in the large building. I ordered the meatball soba with double soba and double egg, and added squid tempura, which came to a total of 950 yen. The fact that double soba and double egg only cost 150 yen extra is surprising. I usually avoid double noodle orders, but at this price, I couldn't resist. Adding squid tempura and still staying under 1000 yen is unheard of in the heart of Tokyo. The noodles were cooked on the hot plate without boiling, then seasoned with sauce. The only vegetable used was finely chopped cabbage. After 15 minutes, the okonomiyaki was served with the basic sauce already applied, allowing you to add your own toppings like seaweed and shichimi. I left feeling full and satisfied, and even felt rejuvenated. It was a delicious, high-value meal that left me completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

I've been to Chains before for lunch! Today, I had Hiroshima greens and Hiroshima oysters...♥ Oh! Carp Boy canned chu-hi, I've never seen that before!! So, I immediately ordered it! I got the pink grapefruit flavor, so the can is also pink and cute ♥ It's my first time trying canned chu-hi, and it's actually delicious! The casual atmosphere here makes it easy to say "I don't need a glass, I'll drink it as it is!" They also had plum and lemon flavors. The kimchi with Hiroshima greens was so good, even though I usually don't like pickled foods. It went really well with alcohol. I finished every last bit of the small leaves in it. The steamed oysters were a joy to watch being cooked! Many people rushed in after work asking, "Are you still cooking?" It was full by 8 pm! Chains is easy to get into even if you're alone because they have a counter seat. I watched them make okonomiyaki right in front of me the whole time, so on my way out, I got some for the kids to take out (it had soba noodles in it, so is it Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki?). I enjoyed teasing myself with it on the train ride home. I bet everyone was craving okonomiyaki the next day! Thank you for the meal! ★

I love the hot teppanyaki chain Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (meat and egg soba) & soba with egg at the food stall village "Hinokoji" in Hibiya City B2 Hibikoku Chikashita. During lunchtime rush, I recommend getting the single portion instead of the double because it's faster. It's best to enjoy a drink in the evening. This lemon sour uses Hiroshima lemons without wax, so it's very delicious. Takeout is available. Hot Teppanyaki Chains Chiyoda-ku Uchisaiwaicho 2-2-3 Hibiya Kokusai Building B2F
