〜〜〜〜〜May 28, 2020 Revisit〜〜〜〜〜On this day, I visited FamilyMart after a long time. I came across some colorful onigiri that I had never seen before. They looked quite delicious, so I decided to give them a try. ●Rice ball "Shirasu Deluxe Rice Ball": ¥121 (tax included ¥130)Rice cooked with speckled soy sauce, topped with fresh shirasu. This was delicious. ●Sushi "Salmon Chirashi Sushi": ¥128 (tax included ¥138)Richly topped cooked rice with salmon and pickled vegetables. - Revisited on April 22, 2019 - Rice Ball Hand Roll with Fragrant Soy Sauce: ¥116 (tax included ¥125) I was expecting a grilled onigiri or something, but the rice around it was plain white. In the middle, there was a mysterious soy sauce-like paste with bonito flakes. It was tasty, I guess. Visited on: April 22, 2019

- Revisited on January 15, 2019 - - Rice ball: Grilled salmon wrapped in seaweed - Price: $1.16 (tax included $1.25) - A bit salty. - Rice ball: Seaweed mixed with spicy cod roe - Price: $1.30 (tax included $1.40) - The packaging was surprisingly green. The taste was rich in seaweed flavor. It seems like they have made quite a challenging model change without notice. Visit Date: January 15, 2019

This day was in Takadanobaba. I decided to have a convenience store breakfast for the first time in a while. I had been eating in at cafes recently, so it had been a while since I visited a convenience store. Plus, it was my first time at FamilyMart in Takadanobaba, I think. This FamilyMart is located on the south side of JR Takadanobaba Station, on the east side after exiting the Toyama exit. It's along the Yamanote Line tracks. Despite being near the station, it's surprisingly not crowded because it's on the west side of the Toyama exit where there are fewer people. I usually look for the set of 2 rice balls, but they were sold out. Next, I looked for rice balls with mentaiko, but those were also sold out. So, I ended up getting the usual ham sandwich and two rice balls that I don't usually eat. Rice ball - grilled salmon: $1.16 (tax included $1.25) It has a delicious flaky texture. It's a bit salty, but it goes well with the rice. Rice ball - hand-rolled tuna mayonnaise: $1.07 (tax included $1.15) It has a traditional tuna mayo flavor. Juicy ham sandwich: $2.58 (tax included $2.78) It's been a while since I had FamilyMart's ham sandwich. FamilyMart's ham sandwich is still the best. Yeah, I'm used to eating at FamilyMart after all.
