The restaurant "Kasumigaseki 1-chome Shokudo" opened on September 17, 2020. Previously, there was a restaurant called "Chikuzen-ya Shokudo" within the Ministry of Justice, but it changed frequently. The lunch menu includes daily specials like set meals, gratins, weekly hamburg steaks for 800 yen, daily pasta for 700 yen, and weekly curry for 600 yen. It is self-service during lunch. I visited around 6:30 pm and ordered the recommended plate for 1000 yen, which included grilled chicken with green onion salt sauce. Another main dish was escabeche of white fish, but it seemed to have been prepared a while ago and the batter was soggy. The sides were green salad and potato salad, with the latter being quite tasty. Dessert was yogurt mousse with strawberry sauce. Coffee was served using an espresso machine. While dining out for dinner, I usually eat around Yurakucho or Tokyo Station, so I found the price of 1000 yen to be reasonable, although it is higher than nearby options like Gobangai Ajikou.
