It's important to show that you want to go there, haha. Although it's called the Ginza branch, I was told that the Shinbashi location is closer, so I got the address of the restaurant in advance. As I approached the building, I thought, "I've passed by here many times before," but as I continued further inside, I saw a huge orange entrance. Wow, this is intimidating. I had only seen images of female staff uniforms and muscular American men before, so it was unexpected. My friends who I was meeting had already placed orders, so the dishes kept coming one after another. I don't remember the names of the dishes, but we had a variety of dishes and I was full. I used to come here a lot, but it's been about 10 years since my last visit. The bright orange sign stands out. It was around 9:30 pm on a Saturday, and the spacious interior was quite empty. There were mostly male customers and some inbound groups, with only a few female customers like us. Despite the lively atmosphere, it felt like a sports bar. They have a wide variety of cocktails. Although we weren't very hungry, we decided to try their famous fried pickles. The food here is quite hearty, true to American dining. The Hooterade Lemon & Lime and Gimlet were delicious. The Gimlet wasn't on the menu, but they made it for us. The Hooters Girl serving us wrote her name on a napkin for a friendly greeting, so it's easy for male customers to strike up a conversation at this point. The fried pickles, made from thinly sliced pickles, were a great snack to go with drinks. The original dip was rich and tasty. The Hooters Girls are happy to pose for photos if you ask, but no sneaky shots allowed. It's a good place for a quick drink as a second stop. The bill was straightforward, with only a 10% consumption tax and a 10% service charge. It was about 1,400 yen per person on this day.

There is a restaurant cafe that seems to be inspired by American cheerleaders called Hooters. I heard it was popular at one point, so I decided to go check it out. The interior of the restaurant was spacious, with three Hooters girls. There were two perfect Japanese girls and one who seemed to be a foreigner or half-Japanese. They were all very friendly and allowed us to take pictures. The food had an American touch, which would probably appeal to young people. The course with all-you-can-drink was ¥5000, but on weekdays it was ¥4000. I tried pickles for the first time, and they were unique. There were TV screens, so it could also be used as a sports bar. I didn't wear roller skates though, haha.

Visited the restaurant again on April 21, 2023. I went to visit a client in Shinbashi and my boss suggested going to Hooters, so we decided to go. We arrived at the restaurant right at the opening time of 11:30 am, so we were the first customers. A few more customers came in later. Today, we ordered the Jambalaya plate. The food arrived in about 7-8 minutes. Initially, I was thinking of getting a regular hamburger from the menu, but I decided to go with the Jambalaya of the day. The plate came with salad, fried chicken, and a sunny-side-up egg on top of the Jambalaya. The Jambalaya had a good amount of spice and the yolk of the egg mixed well with it. The fried chicken was light and crispy, with a nice kick of spice. By the way, my boss had the Japanese-style hamburger again and was lamenting the absence of the demi-glace sauce from last time.

A guest from Kansai really wanted to go here, so we were nervous about getting a table without a reservation, but we managed to secure a table for four just in time. There were some famous foreign martial artists and sumo wrestlers dining here too, taking photos. The music inside the restaurant seemed quieter than before, making it easier to chat with my companions. We enjoyed healthy portions of both chicken breast and thigh meat. The highlight of the meal was surprisingly not the meat, but the fried cucumber pickles. They were so delicious and addictive.
