【August 2010 - Second revisit for update】(Photos are 11th) I overslept, so I had to eat breakfast outside. I only had 10 minutes, so I bought an iced coffee (put in a plastic cup for takeaway) and a packaged sandwich from the refrigerated case. There were 3 types available, but I chose a common mixed one. The sandwich was made by "NRE Japan Restaurant Enterprises" and I was happy to see a seal saying "No emulsifiers or yeast food used in the bread". The bread tasted delicious, maybe because of that. It had 3 fillings, but the tuna potato salad was particularly tasty. I also saw a croquette sandwich, so I want to try that next time.
【August 2010 revisit for update】(Photos are 9th to 10th) I didn't have time to eat breakfast at home, so I decided to have a quick morning meal. I chose the "Morning no.5" set (390 yen) with iced coffee. The iced coffee was a bit weak, but it was fine for the morning. The meal consisted of two muffins with toppings resembling pizza toast. One had scrambled eggs with ketchup, and the other had mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese. Both were delicious and satisfying.
【May 2010 revisit for update】(Photos are 3rd to 5th) I wanted a hot sandwich, so I visited this place and chose the "Premium S Plate". It included a hot sandwich called "Becks Premium", mini penne, mini dessert, and a drink (I chose a "Cafe Latte S") for 740 yen. The sandwich had cabbage seasoned with roasted sesame dressing, roast pork, ham, tomato, lettuce, boiled egg, etc. The mini dessert tasted like fruit jelly. It wasn't as filling as shown in the poster, but it kept me satisfied until dinner.
【June 2009 revisit for update】(Photos are 3rd to 5th) Overslept this morning, so I had to skip breakfast. I decided to try the BECKS Morning set for 500 yen. It included toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, a vegetable-like juice, and yogurt. The yogurt with honey-like sauce and nut toppings caught my eye. I chose a "Dark Roast Coffee" for the drink. It was a satisfying and tasty meal, but I wished there were more vegetables included.
【May 2009 initial visit】Located inside JR Tabata Station, this shop offers various options for hot and iced coffee. I had never tried their morning set before, so I decided to have it on a certain day in May 2009. I chose the "Morning Plate 1" which included toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hot coffee for only 390 yen. The food was surprisingly delicious, with soft scrambled eggs and sweet, fluffy toast. The coffee was also to my liking. The shop has a smoking section behind a glass door, making it suitable for solo customers in a hurry. I look forward to trying other morning sets next time.
