During my student days, a junior from Aomori Prefecture arrived at the scramble crossing in Shibuya for the first time and asked, "Is there a festival today?" At first, I was puzzled, but I realized that in his mind, a lot of people equated to a festival, hence his comment. Another anecdote about this junior involves his parents. His mother's name is "Fujiko" and his father's name is here, so when they are together, they become manga masters. Today's lunch is at "Hakata motsunabe Hinone Mizunone" operated by Fujio Food System. While exploring the Iino Building, I noticed a sign for all-you-can-eat mentaiko and decided to try it out. I ordered the simmered hamburger steak from the daily set menu, and it was served instantly. The plentiful mentaiko was transferred from a large plate to a small dish, beautifully presented and delicious, perfectly complementing the rice. The hamburger steak was tender, juicy, and surprisingly flavorful, with a rich sauce enhancing the taste of the meat. The salad and side dishes were healthy, and I happily indulged in extra rice with plenty of mentaiko. I found a great restaurant, and I look forward to coming back to try other menu items.

Located in the basement of a building overlooking Hibiya Park in Uchisaiwaicho, this restaurant is a type of izakaya specializing in motsunabe (offal hot pot). It is situated near the escalator on the Hibiya Park side of the food and drink floor. The restaurant was not listed on Tabelog, and until they start selling bento boxes at 11:30, the lights are off, which can be a bit unsettling. After three attempts, I finally made it past the line of waiting customers and found a dish of fried horse mackerel, which I had been wanting to try. I paid the slightly high price of 700 yen in cash and enjoyed the luxurious presentation of separate rice and side dishes, including high-quality horse mackerel, croquettes, fried chicken, mentaiko (spicy cod roe), okra, egg, kinpira (sautéed burdock root), and pickles. I now understand why there is always a line here. When I looked up the name on the disposable chopsticks, I realized it belongs to a well-known multi-brand company. They dominate the basement of this building, making me feel like both Buddha and Sun Wukong.
