The name of the restaurant at Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line of Osaka Metro is ^^; Once you know the name, you can't help but go. On a day when I had work nearby, after finishing work, I felt like going to Kinoko no Kuni to try out their dishes. I made a reservation and arrived at Kinoko no Kuni at 8:00 pm. It was a small village overflowing with mushroom hunting people. I had highball and beer, along with two dishes that seemed better than the menu: Yuki-reitake sashimi for 650 yen and mushroom cream cheese fry for 650 yen. The menu was fun and full of mushrooms. It's worth seeing it in person. The highball and beer had a familiar taste, not mushroom-flavored. The Yuki-reitake sashimi looked more like a shellfish than a mushroom. The texture was soft and somewhat like abalone... quite addictive. The mushroom cream cheese fry was delicious and easy to understand. The juicy flavor was just right. I had seconds of this dish. The main dish was the recommended pot menu by the waitress: Kinoko to Truffle Magic Pot for 1720 yen per person. It's a pot with three stages of flavor changes: 1) light Japanese-style tail soup, 2) refreshing and flavorful by breaking down tomatoes, 3) adding special cream for richness and flavor. They brought out a pot with a tabletop stove. It was a pot with a variety of mushrooms. The waitress explained each type of mushroom in detail, but I'll skip that. In short, it's a pot with lots of mushrooms. When the mushrooms started to soften, it was time to eat. I followed the instructions and started eating. The essence of unknown mushrooms was overflowing. It was quite delicious. I couldn't tell which mushroom was the best, but they all tasted delicious. It was a fun pot to explore Kinoko no Kuni. Adding the special cream in stage 3 completely changed the flavor. It might be my favorite taste in terms of mushrooms. It would be delicious with pasta added. I highly recommend this restaurant for mushroom lovers. Reservations are essential. It's a great place for girls who want to drink healthily. If you want to go mushroom hunting in the Shinsaibashi area, be sure to visit here!

I have been to a mushroom-themed restaurant in Nara and knew that there was a similar one in Osaka, so I wanted to visit it with my family. Located in an area between Shinsaibashi and Nishi-Ohashi, the restaurant turned out to be small with only counter seats and a few tables. I wanted to try unique mushroom dishes, so I ordered various items. The Mushroom Magic Pot was a must-try, featuring a variety of mushrooms that even mushroom enthusiasts may not have heard of. The soup had different flavors depending on where you scooped it, making it a magical experience. The Yuki-reatake sashimi was beautiful and tasted fresh, almost like it wasn't a mushroom. The Jumbo Mushroom Stuffed with Meat was surprisingly large and could almost pass as a lunch meal with rice. The tempura and grilled mushroom assortments also featured rare mushrooms with different tastes and textures. The Shiitake Mushrooms in a Pot had a rich aroma and a generous portion. The Mushroom Rice Dish was a unique way to end the meal. Overall, the dishes were flavorful and healthy, and the selection of mushroom-infused drinks was impressive. The highlight was the Matsutake Mushroom Sake we tried. From the moment we opened the menu to finishing our meal, it was a magical and delightful experience!

I had been interested in this place for a while, and my craving for mushrooms skyrocketed, so I decided to visit. The mushroom hot pot had around 8 different types of mushrooms, and I was completely satisfied. The grilled mushrooms were delicious, especially the stuffed big mushrooms, which were very hearty and perfect for a group of 3-4 people. I was in mushroom heaven - thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited the restaurant at night. There were 4 seats at the counter and 2 tables, and the place was bustling with mostly female customers. The course options were priced at 4,000 yen, 4,500 yen, and 5,000 yen, and I made a reservation for 4,500 yen. All the dishes served were mushroom-based, starting from the appetizers, each elegantly seasoned to bring out the flavor of the mushrooms. As a mushroom lover, I was impressed by the delicious dishes. The signature mushroom hot pot was also light and delicious with a flavorful broth. It was truly amazing. Thank you very much.

The interior of the shop was stylish, and even the small items like chopstick rests were carefully selected. We ordered a course menu, and the appetizer platter with three types of dishes was delicious, especially the mushroom sashimi was exquisite. The specialty mushroom hot pot contained many unusual mushrooms, but the staff explained each one, so we could enjoy them while being aware of their characteristics and nutrients. Even though it was already healthy and full of nutrients, thanks to this explanation, I felt even healthier. The hot pot was finished with a cheese risotto, and I was completely satisfied until the end. It might be difficult for a large group, but it's the perfect place for a date. Definitely going back again!

The mushroom sashimi tasted like shellfish, but lighter than shellfish. The mushroom hot pot was enjoyable with various types of mushrooms to taste. The manager provided thorough explanations, making it easy for first-timers to enjoy. The dashi in the steamed pot was delicious, I wanted to keep drinking it. There were several types of mushroom sake, all light and perfect for gatherings or non-drinkers. Despite eating a lot, I didn't gain weight. Thank you very much.

I happened to stumble upon this restaurant by chance and decided to walk in without a reservation. It was quite crowded, but luckily they had a last-minute cancellation and were able to seat me at the counter. The chopstick rest looked like a poisonous mushroom, haha. I tried three different types of Japanese sake - I preferred the one on the right. There was also another sake made with dancing mushrooms that wasn't in the photo, which I also enjoyed. I could eat all kinds of mushrooms without feeling guilty, so it was perfect for a late-night meal. The risotto at the end was delicious too! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Located about a 10-minute walk from Shinsaibashi, this shop has a small interior with a counter and about three tables. The clientele is mainly in their 20s, perhaps due to its location in Shinsaibashi. The dishes are all quite tasty, with a strong flavor of mushrooms in the broth. I was worried when looking at the course menu, thinking "Is this enough to fill me up?" But after eating the risotto at the end, I was quite satisfied. I wonder if the variety of mushrooms will change in autumn? I'd like to visit again around that time.

Mushroom lovers will love this shop - Kinoko no Sato! The shop has a small counter and table seats, and it is known for its hot pot with a variety of mushrooms. They also offer courses that you can order on the day, making it perfect for a date or girls' night out. We ordered a sashimi mushroom tempura platter, jumbo mushrooms, magic hot pot, and risotto. We also ordered a sake tasting set that goes well with mushrooms. The sashimi mushrooms were a first for me, and the aroma and texture were great. The magic hot pot was amazing, with a detailed explanation of the mushrooms and the option to try different flavors. The sake tasting set paired perfectly with the mushrooms, especially the one with matsutake extract. We enjoyed the meal from start to finish! Hot pot is a must here!

After several years, I visited Kinoko no Sato and tried their mushroom dishes. I couldn't get enough of their magic pot with mushroom and seafood broth, tomato, and cream - it had three delicious layers of flavor. The only thing that could have made it better was if the staff were a bit more flexible and friendly. The menu included mushroom courses, mushroom risotto, mushroom tempura, grilled mushrooms, mushroom steamed in a pot, and more. Overall, a great experience at Kinoko no Sato in Minamisenba, Osaka. #mushrooms #mushroomrecipes #osakagourmet #japanesefood

I only had mushroom dishes, but I felt satisfied as if I had eaten meat. The hot pot had a very gentle flavor, and the last dish, the chitama risotto, was amazing with the strong taste of mushrooms. The interior of the restaurant is also very cute, and women and mushroom lovers are sure to get excited. I will definitely come back again. ☺️

Today, I went to a shop that I had always been curious about every time I passed by. It's called "Kinoko no Sato," where you can eat a hot pot filled with mushrooms. The shop has a cute design with charming little decorations. First, I had a warmed sake to fight off the cold. Then, I enjoyed a course meal starting with grilled mushrooms and sashimi, followed by a hot pot, and finishing with risotto. The broth was really delicious - it was super healthy! Thank you for the meal.

Around early afternoon, I passed by a mushroom cuisine restaurant that I had visited before, and saw a sign saying they only open once a month. They were serving Suzu Curry, a mushroom-infused spice curry. The idea of it being a monthly special made me want to try it again. I decided to enter the restaurant called "Kinoko no Sato". It was late, so there weren't many customers inside. The menu offered a choice of two curry dishes, and unfortunately, the limited quantity curry was already sold out. I ended up trying the mushroom curry. The curry was served in a spicy style, and I was instructed to first taste the mushroom broth separately. It had a thick consistency and a strong mushroom flavor. Mixing it with the curry, I found the dish to be a gentle curry with various types of mushrooms. It resembled curry udon more than traditional curry. It wasn't spicy at all, but had a subtle flavor. The other curry dish I tried was a keema curry with bonito and minced pork. This one had a stronger bonito flavor. Overall, both curries had a slight kick to them but were mostly mild. The experience was unique and the curries were quite different from the usual. I would rate it around 3.0 out of 5. Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat out! But I've been worried about my weight lately! At that timing, I received an invitation for dinner, so I suggested this restaurant to make it a bit healthier (laughs). First of all, the appearance is cute... When you enter, it's a small cafe-like space with a counter and two table seats. *Reservations are required as it's full of reserved customers. First, when you sit down, you'll notice the mushroom-themed chopstick rests and plates! I want to take a picture at this point (laughs). Then the staff will ask, "Is this your first visit?" and when you tell them that it is, they will kindly explain the courses, menu, and recommendations. So grateful! We had only reserved seats, but you can also choose a course (there are 3 types) on the spot, so we decided to go for the course as well. Here's what we ordered: - Bamboo Course 4300 yen [Contents] - Assorted mushroom appetizers - Today's grilled mushrooms - Shiitake mushroom steamed in a pot - Mushroom magic pot - Egg cheese risotto - Truffle vanilla ice cream As a general review, there are so many different types of mushrooms!! I was impressed at first, seeing ones I've never seen before ✨ When the dishes were served, the staff would explain each type of mushroom and how to eat them, but I couldn't remember the types (laughs). The main mushroom pot was initially enjoyed with the broth as it is, then halfway through, we crushed the tomato in the middle with a plate to make it like a tomato pot, and then added the separate cream sauce to change the taste, and for the finishing touch, the staff made egg risotto for us... Even though most of the ingredients were mushrooms, it was quite filling ♥️ The ice cream for dessert also had mushrooms in it (laughs). Ah!! I have to add a recommendation← It's included in the course, but if you order it separately, I definitely recommend the shiitake mushroom steamed in a pot ✨ I want to drink (eat) this every day, it has a gentle flavor, and when you add sudachi, it becomes so refined, like a dish from a high-class Japanese restaurant?! Please try it! I want you to order this...! There are many celebrity signatures in the restaurant, and it seems like a place that has been featured on TV. If you love mushrooms, I definitely want you to visit this place!

To the mushroom shop in Minamisenba. Mushroom course at a mushroom-only restaurant. "Kinoko no Sato" Course includes: - Assorted mushroom appetizers - Shiitake steamed in a pot - Grilled mushrooms of the day - Tempura of the day's mushrooms - Mushroom magic pot - Finale of egg cheese risotto - Truffle vanilla ice cream - Mushroom cold sake tasting set - Shochu highball with lemon - Minami Ume liquor Appetizers include raw snow shiitake, stir-fried shimeji mushrooms, and okra and enoki mushroom salad. The pot-steamed dish is filled with plenty of chicken and shiitake mushrooms. This is incredibly delicious! I've always preferred shiitake mushrooms over matsutake, and the rich broth is amazing. The grilled mushrooms and tempura are thick and meaty shiitake mushrooms, which are a sure hit. And then the main dish, the magic mushroom pot. It's packed with various mushrooms. The magic soup allows you to enjoy three levels of flavor changes. First, savor the umami of seafood and mushrooms as is. Then crush the tomato in the middle to add acidity and sweetness. Finally, add cream for a rich soup. For the finale, add eggs and cheese to the soup packed with mushroom umami for a delicious risotto. Even the dessert is mushroom-themed, with vanilla ice cream topped with truffles resembling a mushroom hill. The drinks are mushroom-themed too! A sweet and smooth mushroom expert, a refreshing and easy-to-drink cedar droplet, and a pine mushroom sake with a hint of pine aroma for a tasting set of three. The table is covered with mushrooms, from coasters to chopstick rests to plates and hand wipes. For mushroom lovers, this is a must-visit. It seems they also serve mushroom broth curry lunch on the last weekend of every month. I'd love to try that too.

I came after a long time! The small items in the shop are very cute with mushrooms. There are various types of mushrooms, including those with whitening effects and immune-boosting effects that are great for women! I tried the famous "magic mushroom hot pot," shiitake mushroom tempura, yukireitake sashimi, and assorted grilled mushrooms. If you want to enjoy other a la carte menu items, it might be better to order the mushroom hot pot for one less person than the actual number of diners, as it is filled with plenty of mushrooms! The hot pot also contained Chinese cabbage, daikon radish, tsukune (chicken meatballs), and tomatoes. You can enjoy the flavor change by eating it as is, crushing the tomatoes, adding cream, and finishing with cheese risotto! I wanted to try the mushroom-themed hot sake with Japanese sake, but the restaurant was warm, so I opted for cold sake this time! You can enjoy eating mushrooms without any guilt. Since the restaurant is not very spacious, I recommend making a reservation.

I went back to this restaurant because it was delicious last time. A friend I went with was impressed with the food. They said they want to come back again, and I can recommend this place to others. They had more variety of drinks and menu items. I was interested in the rice cooked in a pot, but I was too full this time, so I will try it next time I go.

※This is a past article. I was really interested in the meat-stuffed jumbo mushrooms and went to try them out! However, they were sold out (this happens quite often, haha). So, I looked at the menu and found many different types of mushrooms that I had never tried before! They were really delicious. I definitely want to try the meat-stuffed jumbo mushrooms next time!

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been wanting to go to for a long time! I didn't have a reservation but luckily I was able to get in at the right time. I tried the restaurant's specialty, the "Magic Pot of Mushrooms and Truffles." It was delicious even in its standard form, but you can change the flavor three times! 1) Crush the tomatoes for a sour taste, 2) add cream for a western twist. The staff explained the mushrooms in detail, and I was excited to try new types of mushrooms I had never eaten before. For dessert, I had the cheese risotto, which is a must-try! The sake selection, especially the ones paired with mushrooms, was interesting. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Tonight, I had dinner here. It's a mushroom specialty store. Right now, it's the best time of year because of the season. The top recommendation here is the mushroom hot pot with spicy sauce. There are about 10 different kinds of rare mushrooms packed in there. The spicy sauce in the middle of the pot gradually melts and it's super delicious! I highly recommend it. The mushroom dumplings are big and satisfying, the mushroom tempura is crispy and tasty with salt, and the mushroom ajillo is great with bread. Each dish is a mushroom paradise, but the menu is so well thought out that you won't get tired of it and can enjoy it until the end. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

We used the restaurant with 5 family members✨ Since the shop is small, I think reservations are essential! We were able to squeeze in 5 people, so I recommend using it for small groups. All the mushroom dishes were delicious!!! Although the course meal is recommended, we were unsure if we could finish it, so we ordered individual items. Even just mushrooms grilled over charcoal with salt were very delicious, and the hot pot with various types of mushrooms was amazing✨ You can enjoy the different textures and flavor changes, so I highly recommend the hot pot♪ Even the child who doesn't like mushrooms said it was delicious, so we are very satisfied✨ There was also shiitake mushroom sake, and it was a restaurant full of mushrooms ===========
