Recently, the opportunity to visit Torikizoku has decreased. It used to be crowded with university students, but it seems not so much anymore. The taste is delicious as usual, and the prices are still very cheap. You can drink a lot without any issue with the bill, and it's a good environment to drink alone while doing work on your PC or watching YouTube. I'm not sure about weekends. The limited menu items using fish were also delicious, and they have a new app which I registered for.

On February 3, 2023, I visited Torikizoku for the first time alone. Located on the second floor of a building across the street from Togoshi Ginza Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line, Torikizoku is a well-known chain. The entrance is through a staircase on the right side of the street. The interior is surprisingly spacious, with high partitions creating a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the "Parent Bird Grilled Mayonnaise Salad" for 350 yen, which consisted of parent bird, onion slices, and sweet mayonnaise mixed together. The parent bird meat was flavorful and tender, making it enjoyable. I also tried the "Chicken Tempura with Mizore Ankake" for 350 yen, which was served hot and topped with grated radish and a sweet and sour sauce. The "Grilled Chicken Breast with Mentaiko Mayonnaise" for 350 yen was delicious, with tender chicken breast and flavorful mentaiko from Hokkaido. The "Grilled Chicken Thigh with Sauce" for 350 yen was a signature dish, featuring tender thigh meat and a tasty sauce. I also tried the "Tsukune with Sauce" for 350 yen, which was made of handcrafted minced chicken meatballs. Lastly, I had the "Fluffy Grilled Yam on Hot Plate" for 350 yen, which was warm and comforting. Overall, the 350 yen price point for each item was impressive, but it would be nice if they offered half portions for some dishes. I enjoyed my first visit to Torikizoku and would recommend going with a friend to try more items on the menu.

When you're stuck on where to go for izakaya, just go to Torikizoku for some delicious yakitori and drinks. The chicken skin with tare sauce is the best! Can't forget about the chicken tenderloin and tsukune, also with tare sauce. Ever since I stopped drinking because of Corona, I occasionally get a strong craving for it.

My mother's birthday party for her 80th birthday was held at Torikizoku. The children requested the all-you-can-eat and drink option, which was not bad in taste and the price wasn't a concern since we could drink freely. I have been invited by my dad to try Torikizoku for a while now, and today was the first time for my elementary school daughter, kindergarten daughter, and me. We made a reservation and went early, so the neighbors, who also had two kids, were able to eat without any hesitation, smiling at each other. My dad highly recommended a dish called "Momokizoku Yaki," so we ordered it with salt, sauce, and spices. We also ordered wieners, ramen, and tsukune for the kids, which came with sauce and cheese. For appetizers, we got edamame, mouth-watering chicken for the mom who loves spicy food, and chicken cartilage, among other things. To finish, we ordered chicken rice in a pot, which I was unsure about eating, but since we were there, we decided to try it. We ordered quite a lot (laughs). Torikizoku has been a topic of discussion for a while, and we finally visited. I was surprised by the size of the Momokizoku Yaki skewers (laughs). The skewers were big, the meat was big, tender, and delicious, making it a very cost-effective yakitori. The kids were initially hesitant because of the size of the skewers, saying they couldn't eat from the bottom, but with small plates and chopsticks on the table, they managed to twist and pick up the meat with chopsticks. The chicken simmered egg ramen looked spicy with the visible pepper on top, so I was worried it might be too spicy for the kids. However, once mixed, it wasn't spicy at all, and the simmered egg with the runny yolk was delicious! Both sisters happily ate it. The chicken rice in a pot had a nice burnt crust around it, and the quality for the price was surprising. We ate a lot, but with dad present, we managed to finish everything (laughs). The kids ordered a chocolate parfait as a dessert, which was also large, with four cut churros, whipped cream standing tall, and vanilla ice cream at the bottom. It was enough for the two of them to share. Each table was separated by a transparent sheet hanging from the ceiling, and both the chicken and rice were delicious, with generous portions. It was fun to spend time with the family, chatting and laughing. I would like to make another reservation for an early time and have the Momokizoku Yaki again (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

Yesterday's dinner was delayed until around 8:00 pm, so my eldest son went out to play darts in Kawasaki. My wife, my second son, and I went out for dinner. We went to Torikizoku in Togoshi Ginza and tried Baby Star ramen and Baby Star yam teppanyaki. Surprisingly, they were quite delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the rice cooked in a pot.

Tonight's dinner was at Torikizoku in Gotanda Ginza. We went with three people, but unfortunately, only a two-person table was available. The staff said they would move us once a four-person table opened up, which we agreed to. The service from the staff was excellent! Our first order, both drinks and dishes, came out quickly and we were very satisfied.
