I was oddly drawn to the lanterns in raster colors and decided to enter the restaurant. During the day, they seem to sell bento boxes. At night, they operate as a dining bar or izakaya. I didn't order a full meal, but the menu seemed to offer substantial dishes. For my first drink, I ordered a highball with a twist. Without saying a word, a series of appetizers were served. - Somen kabocha with ginger in a vinegar sauce. - Tofu with okaka, a flavorful tofu dish. - Chicken meatballs and simmered fried tofu. It seemed like they were preparing for the next day. The appetizers were all well-prepared and delicious. For my second drink, I requested a black koji shochu from Satsuma on the rocks. When I asked for grilled eggplant, they grilled it right in front of me. Grilled eggplant is always delicious in this season. The freshly grilled eggplant was exceptional. I ordered another glass of Satsuma shochu. The background music was reggae-style, and I relaxed while watching the silent TV. I left around 11 pm. If this place was nearby, it would be enjoyable to visit regularly.
