Here is the translation of the restaurant review:
"Here and there! You can see the yellow background with red letters saying 'Torikizoku' all over Tokyo. Despite seeing it at familiar stations, I had never been there before. Charismatic prep school lecturer, Mr. Hayashi, recommended Torikizoku on his show 'Hatsumimi Gaku', praising its surprisingly delicious food, the nickname 'Toriki', and his own frequent visits. Intrigued, I finally visited for the first time.
There are two Torikizoku restaurants near Komagome Station, and I made a reservation for the 'Torikizoku Komagome Store' on the second floor of Lawson across from the south exit. It was mid-December on a Friday, right in the middle of year-end party season, and the restaurant was almost full. I was seated at a small table next to three men enjoying night horse racing, one of whom was a heavy smoker, making the air smoky throughout. I wanted to change seats, but there was no button on the tablet device for ordering to make such a request. The restaurant's website did mention that it was 'smoking allowed', so I reluctantly accepted it, albeit with some regret.
I then started ordering from the tablet. First, I ordered a Premium Malt beer for a toast. I also tried the red shiso-flavored daikon salad, which was delicious. I then had the fluffy yam teppanyaki, which was surprisingly tasty. However, I made a rookie mistake when ordering the yakitori. I accidentally misunderstood the quantity '1' as '1 skewer' and ended up ordering almost all the yakitori with a quantity of '2'. As a result, we had to eat an unbelievable amount of yakitori for two people.
We managed to finish all the skewers, but we were overwhelmed by the sheer quantity. To accompany the yakitori, I had the Toriki Rouge, an original one-cup red wine, and the Toriki Blanc, a fruity Australian Chardonnay. I also had some side dishes like chilled tomatoes, cabbage platter, spicy pickles, and more of the delicious red shiso daikon salad.
Next time I visit Torikizoku, I will make sure to choose a seat with less smoke and order only one skewer of yakitori. Thank you for the meal!"
