I found this restaurant while wandering around Nankai Namba Station. I was seated at the counter this time. When I asked for a recommendation, they suggested a rare fruit liquor, so I toasted with kiwi liquor. The unique fragrance of kiwi was nice. However, since I'm a drinker, I ended up drinking shochu afterwards. I ordered horse sashimi as the first dish. I don't usually eat horse meat, but sometimes I crave it and order frozen sashimi online. Eating sashimi at a restaurant is a whole different experience. It was served on five plates with a variety of cuts. I apologize for the edges being cut off in the photo. The lean meat was delicious, but the combination of lean and fatty meat in my mouth was amazing! I realized that I really like horse meat. They also served a Caesar salad with creamy eggs and stewed horse meat. The stewed horse meat was quite filling. I also tried the recommended roasted horse by the manager, which had a strong horse flavor. The grilled horse meat dishes were also delicious, especially the half-cooked Tataki style. Finally, I had fried rice wrapped in egg with horse meat as an ingredient. It was a satisfying and enjoyable experience! Thank you for the meal.

We started with a toast of draft beer and were served horse tongue as a complimentary appetizer, accompanied by sliced onions and shiso leaves. We enjoyed the signature dish, "dashi maki" and horse meat stew. The dashi maki, topped with grated daikon radish and green onions, had a fluffy texture and a rich broth flavor. We also tried the famous horse meat stew, served with pea sprouts. The meat was simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, offering a light and tender texture. We added a freezing highball and the sake "Mizutaka" to our order to continue enjoying our meal. We then ordered sweet potato shochu and a small plate of the assorted horse meat grill, which included various cuts like tenderloin, lean meat, top blade, skirt meat, and bone-in short rib. Each cut was cooked to perfection, and we enjoyed them with sweet potatoes and eringi mushrooms as side dishes, along with soy sauce, salt, and grated ponzu sauce for dipping. The meat was flavorful with just the right amount of fat, making it a perfect accompaniment to our drinks and rice. The special selection horse sashimi and horse meat grill course for 6,780 yen (tax included) with an additional all-you-can-drink option for 1,650 yen. The location is good, just a few minutes walk from Nankai Namba Station. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, but you can look for the glowing horse sign. The sashimi was fresh, not thawed. Enjoyed the 5 different types of grilled horse meat, very satisfying. The all-you-can-drink menu is great, except for soft drinks and ice cream.

I happened to find this place when I went drinking in Ura Namba! It's located on the 3rd floor of a building, and when I climbed the stairs, I was surprised by how spacious the interior was! There is also a terrace seating area where you can enjoy your meal while overlooking the alleys of Ura Namba! I love horse meat, so I chose this restaurant, and the main dish of horse sashimi was delicious, comparable to what I had in Kyushu! Additionally, dishes like horse meat simmered in soy sauce, horse intestines stew, cherry blossom yukhoe, and bibimbap using horse meat were all enjoyable! Among them, the horse meat nigiri sushi left the biggest impression on me! The tender horse meat sushi was exquisite! There are other dishes like horse tongue stew that I didn't get to try, so I definitely want to go back again!

I really wanted to go to Hyakuman Bariki with my friends, so I made a reservation as soon as they reopened and visited. The horse sashimi, liver sashimi, yukhoe, and yakiniku were all delicious as always. However, the taste of the roast horse seemed a little different in the sauce... Well, it's not so bad that I would criticize it, so it's not a big issue. What bothered me was the service. It was clear that there weren't enough staff in the dining area. The service was slow, and they didn't respond to requests that they would have in the past. I understand that there has been a significant turnover in staff, but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. I will continue to visit the restaurant, but it seems like it's no longer a place where you receive special treatment...

This year's year-end party couldn't be imagined anywhere else but here. I have visited many times and each time I asked for something unreasonable, and they always accommodated my requests. Yesterday, we visited with 9 people, listened to many whims of my friend who loves roast horse meat too much and only asked for the sauce, had the delicious new sake, and had the best year-end party. We were given the sauce only for the roast horse meat, had the cherry smoked meat seared on our own, and had grilled shabu-shabu as the finishing touch for the horse meat. This year, I am truly grateful to Hyakumanbaryo. Please continue to favor us next year as well.

After enjoying some fried skewers, we decided that we wanted something refreshing, so we all agreed on horse sashimi. The chef assured us that it was premium horse meat imported directly from Kumamoto, and he wasn't wrong. We started with thinly sliced horse sashimi, which was beautifully marbled and tasted exquisite. The temperature control was spot on, enhancing the experience. Next, we tried the horse liver sashimi, which was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating. The combination of sesame oil and ground sesame worked wonders. For drinks, we had Kameizumi Junmai sake, which had a rich and dry flavor profile that paired perfectly with the food. We also tried the restaurant's original sweet potato shochu, "Hyakuman Bari," which was a bit diluted for our taste. Lastly, we tried the horse heart sashimi, which was incredibly flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Delicious food, especially the horse meat! Went up the suspicious staircase to the 3rd floor. Wait, where are all the customers? Was recommended to sit outside, but it was warm and comfortable. The indoor space could use more partitions for a more calming atmosphere, but there were plenty of customers when I left. Not a place I would go to frequently, but maybe once in a while. The staff was also friendly.

I visited a horse meat specialty restaurant near Nankai Electric Railway Namba Station on November 3, 2018. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of a mixed-use building about 50m down the second alley on the left, past Loft. I enjoyed horse sashimi, horse roast beef, and horse yakiniku. The horse sashimi, especially the Tataki, was delicious. The horse sausage was surprisingly flavorful and juicy. It was a casual horse meat izakaya where the alcohol flowed freely.

I chose this place through a search on Tabelog for eating horse meat near Namba. I have previously gone to "Ketobashiya Champion" in Sakai Higashi to eat horse meat. Personally, I would also recommend "Haruma" near Teradacho Station in the local area. The restaurant is on the second floor and not very noticeable from the outside. The interior is clean and surprisingly spacious. There are various menu options, but I think ordering a course is the safest bet. I also recommend adding the all-you-can-drink option. When it comes to horse meat, being able to eat it raw is the best part. It doesn't have any unpleasant smell at all and is incredibly delicious. It's great that you can try various cuts of meat. The grilled dishes were also excellent. Thank you for the meal. The next day, I felt surprisingly good. It must be thanks to the horse meat and garlic.

I visited this restaurant with a friend after seeing the website, without making a reservation. The entrance was a bit hard to find. The logo on the sign was fancy but hard to read. Also, it's on the 3rd floor, so I had to rely on a map app to find it. Luckily, we were able to get a table right away as it was not busy. The course meal and raw liver were delicious. The all-you-can-drink option had a good selection of wines and the quality of the yakiniku was high. The only downside was that the tables were close together once it got crowded, which made me worry about the risk of infection. But that's understandable.

Dinner on the terrace was great. As the season progresses, dealing with bugs and the heat may become a bit challenging.
