I went to Nakata Shoya with a friend from New York. I had always heard about this restaurant, but Roppongi is too far for me to come. This was my first time trying robatayaki in Tokyo, and the taste was beyond my expectations. However, the staff was very busy, so we didn't get any refills of water. I would like to come back again.

Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, President Trump, and many other famous people from overseas have visited this restaurant. I was surprised to see the chef continue to cook while sitting in seiza until the end. Everything was delicious, but the Inca no Mezame potatoes were so sweet they tasted like sweet potatoes, which was amazing. The view was also enjoyable, making it a fantastic experience. I definitely want to go back!

We always enjoy delicious meals here. The fresh and juicy vegetables are so tasty that we end up ordering a lot and couldn't even get to the rice at the end. The cooking of matsutake mushrooms and beef tongue was a bit questionable, but the Yamazaki 12-year-old whiskey seems like a good deal compared to others.

Prime Minister Abe hosted President Trump at this famous restaurant. Although it was on the expensive side, I decided to give it a try. I started with chilled tomatoes, followed by asparagus, new potatoes with butter, beef skewers, tsukune (chicken meatballs), carabineros shrimp, mushrooms, grilled golden sea bream, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), nuta (dressed vegetables), and wild vegetable steamed dish. It cost almost 20,000 yen per person, but it was delicious. They must be using advanced cooking techniques, but I couldn't quite taste the difference with my palate. I'd like to come back when I'm older.

Don Quijote Roppongi store. A unique store that can be easily recognized from afar. "I wonder if he passed by this store.." With such vague thoughts in mind, I turned left down the alley. If you see a large rice paddle on the white wall of a building on the second floor to your left, that's where Shinzo and Donald had a double date. This Japanese restaurant has elevated the traditional teppanyaki style to a higher level. The teppan grill, uniforms, interior, mochi pounding, and other aspects allow you to experience various traditional Japanese cultural elements, making it a delightful experience for tourists. On the other hand, the highlight of the meal is the display of high-quality ingredients that heighten the excitement. In particular, the salt-grilled golden snapper and shrimp are impressive in their grilling technique and deliciousness. On the other hand, dishes like sashimi, oysters, and grilled beef loin are quite common. If you visit this restaurant, be sure to try the salt-grilled golden snapper to experience the grilling technique. Finding your favorite teppan chef could also be one of the enjoyable aspects of dining here. As the sound of the small drum fades away, stepping outside, the slightly cooler air wraps around, magically lightening the once full stomach. There are no tunes or dances like those of Carl depicted by Friedrich Schiller in the future. Will I be like the golden snapper on the cutting board, seared by the charcoal fire? With such fantasies in mind, I enjoyed the long-awaited teppanyaki and headed towards Enma-zaka on that night.

I went to "Inaka-ya," a famous robatayaki restaurant located a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the restaurant was almost empty, but the staff were very energetic and provided lively service. The dishes are made with fresh vegetables and seafood sourced at that time, cooked right in front of you. You can choose your favorite ingredients from the open counter. Both the vegetables and fish were delicious. Especially the rock oysters in summer were exquisite. Personally, I felt that it would be nice if they had a greater variety of shochu. It is a great restaurant for small group gatherings, but I found the cost-performance ratio to be slightly low, so it may be difficult for everyday dining. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a friend's birthday party at a restaurant near Roppongi Station called Inakaya. I had heard that it was a good place but expensive, and it was exactly as rumored. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, as well as the staff, were great. However, I felt that the teppanyaki was a bit pricey at 20,000 yen per person. It might be a good place to take foreign friends to.

What's great is the energetic customer service and performance. Although there are various restaurants, this place expresses the basics very well. Some may have mixed feelings about the loud voices, but the clear and direct responses are refreshing. It's natural and feels good. Regardless of the dish, this is how a Japanese restaurant should be. Ah, I feel happy eating here. Thank you, Inaka-ya.

Located a 5-minute walk from the station, "Inaka-ya" is a well-known traditional restaurant specializing in robatayaki. This historic restaurant in Minato Ward is frequented by Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as foreign dignitaries like President Trump. It is a place where even Japan's Prime Minister entertains foreign guests. Inaka-ya offers a refined version of traditional Japanese robatayaki, allowing visitors to experience Japanese culture through its cuisine and decor. The energetic and lively staff provide excellent service. You can enjoy seasonal vegetables and fresh seafood grilled right in front of you. The counter displays a variety of ingredients for you to choose from. Taking someone here for the first time is sure to delight them.

The shrimp and scallops were delicious. The meat was honestly just average. They use good ingredients, but the prices are a bit high. We had a late meal, so we only ordered a bottle of beer and a half bottle of white wine, without ordering fish (which was over 10,000 yen per serving) or a main dish. Normally, we would drink two bottles of wine. The bill came to 40,000 yen for two people. It felt like a theme park, so we were somewhat okay with thinking of 20,000 yen as an entrance fee.

I was able to visit Yasunari no Inaka-ya for the first time in a long while! The restaurant was lively and had a fun atmosphere, making the dining experience enjoyable. Whether it was shrimp, crab, clam, or vegetables, everything I ate was delicious!

I always made reservations for entertaining overseas guests, but this was my first time visiting. Every guest always requests this place, and now I understand why! They line up a variety of seasonal ingredients in front of you and cook them right before your eyes. Every time you place an order, the whole restaurant erupts in cheers, creating a fun atmosphere. It seems like there are many foreign customers as well. Asparagus, onions, shrimp, kinmedai fish, ginkgo nuts, potatoes, beef skewers, harako steamed rice, miso soup, pickles, and melon - everything was delicious, allowing us to truly savor the flavors of the ingredients. It's definitely a favorite among customers, but the price is incredibly high, so it's not something I can afford to visit regularly. (Tears)

Located quietly down a narrow street after walking from Roppongi intersection towards Don Quijote, I was invited by a friend to visit this place. It is a traditional robatayaki restaurant. The interior has a spacious feel with only a counter, and about 70% of the customers were foreigners. The atmosphere inside was really nice, giving off an old-fashioned robatayaki vibe. We ordered plenty of seafood, vegetables, and meat, and everything was surprisingly delicious. Especially the prawns were exceptional in terms of size and taste. However, I was shocked when I saw the bill. It cost around 18,000 yen per person. It was very tasty, but the price was a bit too high, which was disappointing. I would consider coming back if it were a bit more affordable. Thank you for the meal.

I was invited by a business partner to this restaurant twice and visited with colleagues privately. The interior of the restaurant has an open counter where the ingredients are displayed, and the staff sit inside the counter to take orders. Fresh vegetables and seafood are lined up. We ordered delicious asparagus and shiitake mushrooms, which really showcased the difference in quality of ingredients. The vegetable charcoal grill was also exceptional. We also ordered a large prawn while enjoying bottled beer for 1000 yen. Initially, we intended to order two prawns, but when the staff confirmed two, we agreed without knowing the price (which they would have shown if asked). The prices were reasonable, starting from 1000 yen for vegetables and going up to thousands of yen for fish. The prawn was around 5000 yen each, but it was a splendid prawn. This restaurant is not suitable for casual visits after work, as the prices are quite high. On a previous visit, I tried dishes like grilled kinki fish and beef skewers, all of which were around 10,000 yen. Considering that even President Trump dined here as the first state guest of the Reiwa era, it's safe to say that getting a reservation here in the future will be quite challenging.

It is a delicious and nostalgic restaurant, perfect for inbound receptions, but the price range is on the higher side!

It's not incredibly delicious, but it's the perfect place to dine with foreigners who have dietary restrictions or are meeting for the first time. They will always leave satisfied.

This is a shop for tourists. It's a good shop, but the variety of alcohol is limited, which is disappointing. The prices are a bit high considering the location, but not unreasonably so. It's a place where foreign bosses would be pleased to visit.

The stability of deliciousness! The salt-grilled fish and salmon roe rice bowl at KinKi are the best!
