This place is located just a short walk from Kinshicho Station... They have melon cream soda, I think... Well, it's there... Melon cream soda. It's the usual melon soda with ice cream. The taste is melon soda. Carbonation with ice cream. It's really good in this hot weather! Really. The fizz and ice cream go perfectly together. If it wasn't for the sign, I wouldn't have bought it... I didn't eat Subway's main dish, but... Thank you for the meal.

I love Subway so I'm writing a review now. I often go to the Kinshicho branch when I want a quick meal. The photo shows a Cheese on Cheese sandwich with a drink and potato chips, all for 670 yen which I think is a good deal! I recommend the Honey Oat or Sesame bread. I also recommend getting extra vegetables and light basil dressing.

Among the major fast food chains, Subway is one where you can indulge with very little guilt... in fact, you can feel healthy by eating lots of vegetables. The shrimp avocado with wasabi soy sauce, BLT with creamy vegetable dressing, and Pizza Sub with bacon Italian were all delicious. I tried the Pizza Sub for the first time and it was really nice being warm. It would be even better if they could add fresh vegetables as toppings after baking. The shrimp avocado was as reliable as always! Thank you for the tasty meal.

I went alone for lunch. I personally love Subway, so I may be a little biased (lol). There are very few seats, so I recommend going alone or for takeout. I wanted to get some protein, so I ordered the roast chicken sandwich with extra vegetables. The seats were a bit dirty, but I will come back again.

I went to Kameido Tenjin for a visit and on the way back with my wife and mother, we stopped by Subway for a quick lunch. It had been a while since I last visited Subway, and I was impressed by their system - you can customize the amount of vegetables, remove ingredients you don't like, and choose from a variety of bread. I ordered the new Quattro Cheese Creamy Chicken sandwich, recommended by the staff, and it was delicious. I chose the flatbread, which was soft and chewy. My wife had the Egg sandwich on Honey Oat bread, with extra tomatoes, and my mother had the Teriyaki Mayo Chicken pizza. We also got a set with potato chips and drinks, and the chips were really tasty. Lastly, my mother ordered the Red Bean & Mascarpone sandwich, which was also delicious. There are also outdoor seating available for smoking. One of the attractions of Subway is the ability to customize your order, such as choosing the type of bread and adjusting the amount of vegetables. The lunch menu is called the "Lunch Set," which can be a bit confusing due to the system changes. There are three sandwich options on rotation as part of the value menu, each with a price including a drink or potato, or both. This results in six choices under the same menu name, making the ordering process even more confusing. I ordered the "Lunch Set (660 yen)" with a Chili Chicken sandwich, a small drink, and small fries. I chose sesame bread and added all the vegetable accents. The recommended dressing was mayonnaise. The Chili Chicken is described as a juicy chicken with a stimulating spiciness from chili peppers and habanero. However, the chicken itself was not very spicy, with the hot pepper accent being spicier. It's a good level of spiciness for when you want a little kick. The chicken was well-cooked and juicy. The drink I chose was a vegetable and fruit juice blend, with carrot and orange juice as the base. For the fries, I tried the Triple Cheese, which was healthy and tasty. The menu and ordering system may be confusing, and the staff is not very helpful, so it's best to order a sandwich to go.

On this day off, my wife requested to have Subway for lunch and also wanted to buy some household items, so we headed to Kinshicho. It's a surprisingly convenient town. The store is small inside, but they have a terrace where we can sit on nice sunny days. I love terrace seats, so whenever there's one, I always choose to sit there. Here's what we ordered: I got my favorite BLT for 420 yen on Honey Oat bread with 2 slices of Swiss cheese for 40 yen. I added avocado for 110 yen and free olives. I asked for extra lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, red onion, and carrot with Caesar dressing and cheese. For my drink, I had a medium Pepsi Zero for 280 yen. My wife ordered the Veggie Delight for 300 yen on Honey Oat bread without toasting, and added an egg for 60 yen. She skipped the red onion and asked for extra vegetables with creamy dressing. Her drink was a small hot cafe latte for 230 yen. We like Subway because we enjoy vegetables, and being able to choose the type of bread based on our mood is a big plus. The Honey Oat bread has wheat germ, honey, soy, and oats, giving it a unique sweetness, aroma, and crispy texture. Subway is the world's largest fast-food chain in terms of the number of stores, surpassing McDonald's. However, in Japan where convenience stores are prevalent, Subway is struggling due to factors like being perceived as time-consuming and inconvenient. The Japanese Subway has recorded net losses for two consecutive fiscal years. Hang in there, beloved Subway!

I visited Subway around 10 in the morning for breakfast. It felt like it had been a long time since I last came here. The last time I came, Subway was still part of the Suntory group, I think. I don't dislike it, I actually like it. They didn't have potatoes yet, so I couldn't get a combo. I ordered the roast beef soup set. I had it with honey wheat bread, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and mayonnaise, without pickles, and minestrone soup. It cost over 800 yen, which might be a bit expensive. The taste was good, in my opinion. I heard that you can order without bread at Subway. But then it just feels like a salad, doesn't it? Overall rating at the time of the visit: 3.07

I became a fan of Subway when I was studying in America and ate there. After returning to Japan, I visited a few times, but I feel that the buns are thin and the ingredients are not as good as the original. I wish they would provide sandwiches with buns that have more chewiness. I always feel unsatisfied when eating there.

I entered the store in the afternoon and purchased the Eho-maki sub for dining in. Maybe it's only available for takeout? The staff seemed confused, so there was a bit of a communication issue. Today's Eho-maki sub BLT for 770 yen felt like a struggle to eat, with two pieces of bread making it a messy experience. The smoked bacon occasionally adds a nice flavor. It's mostly vegetables, though. Maybe I should have asked for extra dressing. Eggs seem to be a good addition this year.

I entered the restaurant a little after 8 in the morning. I had some time to kill before my appointment in Kiba at 9:30, so I decided to pass the time with a morning meal. Since the Balsamic dressing I liked for the Honey Oats chicken had apparently run out, I wanted to try other dressings. I tried the Basil and Honey Mustard dressings. There seems to be a variety of dressings to choose from for customization. The sweetness of the teriyaki chicken and the sweetness of the bread were complemented by the addition of pickles, which added a strong acidic accent. There was a lingering taste of basil and garlic in the aftertaste. Maybe the Honey Mustard wasn't necessary. I saw a recommendation for thinly sliced beef toppings, and I'd like to try that. They also offer the option to have the dressing served separately for takeout, instead of directly pouring it over the food, which might be better to avoid moisture issues. I wonder if they will have a special long sushi roll for Setsubun in February.

I entered the store around noon on Saturday, July 13, 2019. I wasn't feeling well in the morning, but couldn't stay in bed all day, so I managed to come to Kinshicho. I've gained so much weight that even the nurse was shocked, making it difficult to casually choose meat or dine out. Dietary restrictions now include not only salt and water intake but also weight management (I need to lose 6 kilograms on my own). If I neglect this, it will all put a strain on my heart. That's why I decided to go to Subway. Today, I had the Teriyaki Chicken for 486 yen. It's the first day of a three-day weekend, so Kinshicho is crowded with people. Both fast food restaurants had lines. At Subway, there were about 4 people waiting. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I returned and there were about 3 people in line, so I joined and placed my order. I noticed that they were preparing 3 party-sized subs for a delivery order. The delivery biker was waiting, it was busy. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed, unable to handle phone orders and customers picking up orders in-store. However, my order was quickly taken care of. Today, I chose teriyaki sauce and balsamic sauce instead of mayonnaise. It turned out to be sweet and quite to my liking. They also added free hot peppers, which added a spicy kick. Some customers only ordered salads, and delivery bikers were waiting, so it was quite busy on the weekend. But other restaurants were also crowded, so there wasn't much of a difference. I saw the long subs for the first time, and they were nicely made. I might want to try the challenge of eating a whole long sub at some point. (For now, half is just right for me).

Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Killing time before running errands in the morning. I had some time to spare before the 7 am opening, so I decided to have breakfast at the Doutor coffee shop or the bakery in front of Kinshicho Station. Wendy's, Lotteria, and even Gusto were open by 8 am. I was tempted by Burger King, but I ended up choosing Subway. I used to go to the Roppongi store in my 30s and the Shibuya store in my 40s. I found it convenient for dieting because of the chewing and fresh vegetables. This is my third time at the Kinshicho store. Today, I ordered the Chili Chicken (Honey Oats) Roast sandwich for 421 yen. They were not busy, so I asked for the bread to be toasted. It wasn't as crispy as I expected. The staff today was generous - they gave a good portion of chicken and lettuce. It was the biggest sandwich I've ever had here. I added extra lettuce and tomato but forgot to ask for extra dressing. The amount of ingredients was impressive. Because of the many fillings, the mayonnaise sauce was not overpowering. I got a glass of cold water and ate inside the store. It was a relaxing and leisurely breakfast since it was not crowded. I love the Honey Oats bread for its honey aroma and sweetness. It might have been the precursor to the current trend of salad-filled sandwiches. I love teriyaki chicken and eggs, as well as balsamic sauce. In my younger days, I used to have a Veggie Delight and another item for around 800 yen for lunch. I didn't order a drink since I could have my favorite one at work. It might be a good idea to order a long sandwich and share it with a friend or family member to save money. It ranges from 724 yen upwards. A dream would be to order a Long Roast Beef and a Long Teriyaki Chicken sandwich. I think the light and refreshing, yet filling sandwich offers good value for money. By the way, smoking is allowed on the terrace. Note: The Kinshicho store does not offer morning set meals.

I visited Rakutenchi in Kinshicho for the first time on the opening day of a movie. The previous Rakutenchi Cinema used to show movies from the Shochiku studio and did not allow advance seat reservations, so you had to wait in line, which was inconvenient. However, it has now been renovated and rebranded as Toho Cinemas. The seats are comfortable with a good incline, and the theater has been upgraded to Toho standards. The toilets are also clean. It is conveniently connected to the subway and much closer to Olinas than before! There are several fast food restaurants in the same building where you can grab a quick bite before the movie. Subway is one of them. Although the seating capacity is not large, it is a valuable fast food option where you can enjoy a meat-free meal. I had the Avocado Veggie with mayonnaise and enjoyed it before heading back to the theater. Other fast food options at Rakutenchi include Wendy's, Doutor, and KFC. There is also a Toho Cinemas at Olinas, so be sure not to confuse it with the one at Rakutenchi in Kinshicho. These two locations are about a 10-15 minute walk apart.

I didn't think I had written a review here, but it's here. I've been writing too much and it's getting hard to keep track. Anyway, it's always reliable. You can get your vegetables here and overall, it's delicious.
