They had a wide variety of lunch menus, so I asked for the recommended sushi lunch and waited. Perhaps due to the early hour, there were fewer customers than expected. The lunch that came out could have used a bit more wasabi, but I'm looking forward to trying it later in the evening and hoping it will be delicious.

Tempura orders are written on paper like at Ginza. The sashimi platter order was taken by the waitstaff. At this point, I felt like ordering at a conveyor belt sushi place would have been easier. Even if you order sushi in bulk, it comes out two pieces at a time on a plate. So, it felt more like conveyor belt sushi? I ended up eating at the counter, and it made me think even more! The sushi toppings were indeed thicker and larger than at major chain conveyor belt sushi places, but the quality was average and the sashimi platter wasn't particularly fresh. It seems to be a convenient place for a family-style sushi restaurant with decent usability.

In Kinshicho, I decided to have sushi today and stopped by Sushi Tsune. There are various sushi restaurants like Kohin and Koto, but I think Sushi Tsune has a good balance of cost and taste. When I want to have sushi in Kinshicho, I would like to visit this place again.

We ordered the lunch set of sushi, fresh oysters, and natto rolls. The appetizer was kinpira gobou. The oysters were delicious! (Although I prefer just lemon over ponzu sauce ←) The size of the oysters was quite large, which I liked. The natto rolls were cut into smaller pieces for my daughter and the presentation was beautiful! Despite the busy Saturday crowd, we were seated quickly and the food was delicious. It was a hidden gem.

After ramen, I set out on a journey to find a cafe, but ended up at a sushi restaurant in Marui. I really never learn. Even though I know, I know, I still end up going there. The price is cheap so I won't complain about the taste, but overall, I still think revolving sushi restaurants are more fun because you can try various interesting items. I don't expect high-level skills or deliciousness, but they didn't have salmon, which was disappointing. I couldn't eat anything that smelled raw, so I tried ordering rolls, but for some reason, the rice was dry. I thought, if it's around the same price range, Choshi Maru would be better... It was that kind of day.

The total price was always around 1,078 yen including tax. The sushi pieces were quite large, without any fishy taste, and delicious. If you want to enjoy sushi with a few people at a reasonable price, this place seems much better than a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in terms of busyness and crowds. Although not sushi, the burdock root was quite tasty. On the other hand, if you have children, maybe a conveyor belt sushi restaurant would be better.

On a holiday in Kinshicho, I decided to have some sushi at Sushi Tsune in the Marui restaurant street. I was a bit late, so I ordered side dishes like boiled rape blossoms and bamboo shoots, as well as a winter sushi set with various types of tuna. The restaurant had a good amount of customers at both the table and counter seats, and the sushi chefs seemed busy. I plan to visit again at night to enjoy more sushi and side dishes like white fish tempura. It was a casual and delicious dining experience.
