Today's third stop on the food tour is at Bunzo in Chiyoda Ward, where we will be trying various types of locally sourced chicken skewers. We moved to Chiyoda Ward from the second stop to visit a cozy-looking izakaya. We sat at a table, ordered various skewers from the menu, and cheers with a sour drink! About 15 minutes later, the restaurant's recommended Bunzo fried dish and other dishes were served. Let's share our experience. - Appetizer: Boiled clams and leeks for 310 yen (tax included). The appetizer of boiled clams and leeks has a light and flavorful taste with a good aroma. - Specialty Bunzo fried chicken wings for 320 yen (tax included). The recommended Bunzo fried dish has a fragrant and crispy appearance with a delicious aroma. The hot fried chicken wings have a spicy and savory taste that goes well with alcohol. - Chewy seaweed pizza for 390 yen (tax included). The light and refreshing pizza has a crispy cheese topping that is delicious. - Various skewers such as young chicken with leeks, liver, meatballs, gizzard, etc., ranging from 160 yen to 390 yen (tax included). The young chicken with leeks has tender chicken thigh meat with fresh leeks that are delicious. The liver skewer is easy to eat without any unpleasant smell, the meatball skewer has a good crunchy texture with cartilage, and the gizzard skewer has a good flavor and texture, grilled over charcoal. - Seafood pancake for 550 yen (tax included). I had yakitori and bunzou-yaki for drinks in Yurakucho. I walked towards Tokyo Station and went to Bunzou. If there are empty seats displayed outside, it makes me want to enter smoothly. I chose beer, skewers, and bunzou-yaki. Bunzou-yaki came with cabbage. Thanks to the spiciness, the alcohol goes down smoothly.

Blacksmith Bunzo. For lunch, they offer a variety of set meals including simmered fish and sashimi set lunches, as well as chicken and fried chicken set lunches. Today, I had the weekly special set meal which was miso cutlet, and it was incredibly delicious, including the miso soup. The set meal comes with free extra rice or large portions of rice.

I knew it wasn't the second place I was planning to go, but I ended up here while walking along the railway tracks in Yurakucho. Ended up having a second round at the Kajiya Bunzo Marunouchi International Forum store. I was planning to just have a light drink, but then I saw a menu item called "Oyadori Ponzu" which sounded appealing to a chicken lover like myself, so I couldn't resist ordering it. And the best part was that the lemon sour came with a whole lemon included. The Oyadori Ponzu was delicious with its chewy texture and the lemon sour was very tasty with plenty of lemon in it. I was familiar with this chain restaurant, but I had never actually been inside or looked up information about it, so I felt a little regretful. Well, chain izakayas are known for being cost-effective and having a wide variety of menu options, so I need to change my mindset from now on...

After AI's concert, I wanted to relax and have a drink, so I went to this place. I was impressed by how cheap it was nowadays. It's not the best, but it's good for a quick drink. Later, more customers from the AI concert arrived. It was worth going. We're heading to karaoke next. (laughs)

In the area near the forum, we decided to try this long shop right in front of us. The shop has a deep layout, and we were led to the back. Even on holidays, there were quite a few people using the place. We ordered a mega highball, bottled beer, and yakitori. It's just a regular izakaya.

New Year's Day in the fourth year of Reiwa. I met up with friends for a visit and we decided to go to this place that was open on New Year's Day for a casual gathering. As expected in Yurakucho, there were several places open nearby, but what caught our attention was the hot pot dishes. It's been a cold winter this year after all! Located under the JR tracks, the long interior of the restaurant had a decent capacity and a wide variety of menu options. First, we ordered the hot pot dishes. They had chicken salt hot pot for around 1045 yen per serving, pork offal hot pot for 990 yen, and beef offal hot pot for 1485 yen, all of which were delicious. Personally, I really liked the chicken salt hot pot, but everything we tried was quite tasty. In particular, the hot and crispy potato fries for 429 yen were my favorite. We ordered a lot of food - sashimi platter, grilled squid innards for 649 yen, assorted grilled chicken for 880 yen, grilled Hokkaido ice fish (salmon) for 396 yen, seafood pancake for 528 yen, garlic udon for 583 yen, stir-fried meat and vegetables for 649 yen, and large onigiri for 176 yen. We were so engrossed in conversation that we forgot to take many photos, but it's rare to find an izakaya with such a wide variety of menu options these days. Thank you - may this year be a good one for everyone! Starting the year with a meal at an izakaya.

After finishing some errands in Yurakucho, I decided to visit this restaurant. While I used to frequent a restaurant in Hamamatsucho, this was my first time at this particular establishment. It was not very crowded, likely due to the approaching Obon holiday. The restaurant is located under the elevated train tracks in Yurakucho. The prices were quite reasonable. We started with a variety of dishes, including a plate of grilled chicken skewers, which were decently tasty. However, the standout dish was their specialty, a spicy grilled chicken dish. It was incredibly delicious and definitely should have been ordered first.

Visited with a friend to grab a light meal. On a Sunday night in Yurakucho, the options for open restaurants are limited, so it's nice to find a casual place like this. Despite the late hour on a Sunday, the place was reasonably busy. We ordered the specialty dish called "Bunzo-yaki", which is a large spicy grilled chicken thigh, perfect with beer. The grilled octopus and assorted grilled chicken skewers were also quite tasty. The prices were reasonable and we had a good time drinking.

I walked around this area and thought I could find a place to go in. The first place I came across was a yakitori restaurant where a guy was grilling skewers in the window. I decided to go in and had a great time at The Izakaya, which I hadn't been to in a while. They had a variety of menu options from different genres, and the prices were reasonable. It was nice to casually drink with options like shochu highballs.

The service at this restaurant was slow, and I didn't want to get frustrated since the beginning of the year, so I waited and even placed an additional order with the friendly manager. Even though it was already last order time, the food still hadn't come out. When I mentioned that I might want to cancel if it didn't come soon, the manager laughed and apologized, saying the order hadn't been processed. I decided I wouldn't go back. The beer was also warm.

It's a kind of izakaya, which is quite popular. I sat near the front of the relatively spacious interior with a typical izakaya setting. As I sat there, I couldn't help but wonder where izakayas come from and where they are headed. It was a cold night, but I chose to have a draft beer. The moment I took a sip, it felt like the faces of the yeast that had stopped moving without heat treatment were floating before me. But thinking of my smiling colleague, I completely forgot about the yeast. I had some simmered dish, ensuring I consumed essential amino acids, settled the bill, and stepped outside into the chilly late February wind. This period of "three cold days and four warm days" is when you start hearing about the blossoming of flowers. The Japanese spirit of cherishing the flowers that bloomed and withered since ancient times is something I want to hold dear.

On the way back from Fuchu with my friend, we were all set to go to Hanamaru in Marunouchi, but to our dismay, there was a 3-hour wait for 65 groups. We walked around looking at various shops, and my friend suggested trying a yakitori place we passed by. Despite my initial hesitation, we ended up having a great meal with dishes like simmered beef tendon, quail marinated in soy sauce, and fried horse mackerel. We also enjoyed some yakitori and my favorite vinegar tripe. We toasted with beer and later had highballs. The food was delicious, and my friend even learned how to make the simmered beef tendon. Towards the end, I got a bit emotional after a few drinks, but the highlight of the meal was the nori rice ball my friend made in a clay pot. It was roughly shaped and tightly packed, but it was the most heartwarming and delicious thing I had that night. I wonder if my friend knew how much I love rice balls when he made it for me. Anyway, it was a great meal.

We had a welcome party for three people without making a reservation, enjoying a standard assortment of grilled chicken skewers, assorted sashimi, and simmered pork intestines as snacks for drinking. The cost performance is good, there is a wide variety of drinks, and the access from Tokyo Station and Yurakucho Station is convenient. We will definitely use this place again.

The spicy sauce used for the specialty chicken thigh and breast is delicious! It's the ultimate snack that goes well with beer. The horse sashimi was also delicious, but the marinated quail eggs were exquisite.

I made a reservation with my colleagues to visit this place. We booked a course that included all-you-can-drink beer for 4000 yen. Despite it being a Monday, the restaurant was almost full. The food was at the level of a chain restaurant's second-party course. Honestly, I felt unsatisfied with the food for the first party, and the service was just average. I couldn't help but think that the convenient location led to the lackluster service. I don't think I'll be using this place again.

It's a chain restaurant but personally, I like this place. I often visited the Shinagawa Grand Passage location. I don't remember much about my visit here because I was already drunk, but aside from the narrow seating, there were no other flaws that stood out. The staff quickly took our orders and the drinks came out without any stress. The food is average as expected from a chain restaurant.
