Arrived around 13:00 on a sunny Sunday, easily got in without any trouble. Had the limited-time hand-prepared chicken cutlet curry with half portion of spinach and tartar sauce on top. It was delicious, but could have been a bit spicier, maybe around level 2 spicy? It's convenient to have this place in Roppongi when you have plans later on.

National 300 stores・limited time offer, the currently unnamed "Nanashi Curry"♥ A magnificent chunk of pork shoulder loin sits atop the curry rice, a true showstopper♥ You can choose from LEVEL 1 to 3 for the "meat chunk," so I chose the 1.5 times larger "LEVEL 2"♥ The meat is so tender that it easily falls apart with a spoon, cooked to perfection with a garlic-infused grated onion "Shabiri Avin Sauce"♥ Pour the curry over the meat for a harmonious blend of flavors♥ As a side dish, the curry comes with a set of corn dhal "Corn Dhal"♥ As always, the condiments are pickled radish and Fukujin pickles in the Shohei Ohtani style, which were delicious♥ P.S. A new menu name election is currently underway♥ Personally, I think "3" is easy to understand ===========

The purpose of this review is to introduce a limited edition curry available only from April 6th to April 18th. The curry is called "Nanashi Curry" or "Meat Chunk Curry." It can be enjoyed at the CoCo Ichibanya restaurant in Minato-ku, Tokyo, specifically at the "Koko" and "Minato-ku Onarimon Station" stores. The meat chunks come in three sizes: Level 1 for 1501 yen, Level 2 (1.5 times) for 1951 yen, and Level 3 (2 times) for 2371 yen. I chose the pork curry at Level 2 for 1951 yen (tax included) and added extra spiciness for 110 yen (tax included). The curry was served with non-red Fukujinzuke, which helped balance the spiciness. The curry had a strong aroma of spices and looked impressive with its toppings. The red curry is a man's romance. The first bite melted in my mouth, and the spiciness and deliciousness were outstanding. It was a unique curry experience that was different from regular curry. The spiciness and flavors were truly enjoyable. The cold water after the meal was refreshing. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious food!

【Points】① Close and convenient location from Roppongi Station. ② The variety of curry and toppings is rich, and many people were ordering different combinations. ③ I recommend introducing automatic food ticket machines for efficiency in labor costs.
【Reasons/Purpose】I was looking for lunch around Roppongi and searched on Tabelog by the number of reviews.
【Location】About a 3-minute walk from Roppongi Station. It's easy to find when you walk towards Don Quijote.
【Atmosphere/Seating/Customer base/WiFi/Toilet/Smoking/Baby stroller, etc.】It was my first time entering CoCo Ichibanya. This place is quite narrow. The counter seats have narrow spacing between them, making it a bit difficult to eat. Surprisingly, there was no food ticket machine. I thought there would be a touch panel type machine like at Matsuya. If House Foods has the budget, they should implement it soon. It would also increase labor efficiency. The staff were energetic, but sharing information like "xx seats available" inside the store seems challenging. Also, since many customers have complex toppings, automation could reduce mistakes. I only saw male customers.
【Food】(Reason for ordering, taste, portion, waiting time, others' orders, etc.)
● Menchi Katsu Curry (¥776) Since it was my first time at CoCo Ichibanya, I didn't know what to order. I felt it would be lonely without any ingredients, so I chose something reasonably priced from the cutlet options. I selected normal spiciness, but it was quite spicy. The portion was sufficient, but at ¥776, it felt a bit pricey for a chain restaurant.

They fry the "handmade chicken and tenderloin cutlet curry" with crispy breadcrumbs, topped with cheese ❤️ The crispy fried chicken and pork go perfectly with the curry rice ❤️ The added cheese gives a rich flavor to the spiciness ❤️ And as always, I prefer pickled radish ❤️ The two-sword style with Fukujinzuke on the table is still strong ❤️ Accompanied by lightly flavored mayonnaise, the solo potato complements the taste of potatoes and was delicious ❤️

On a regular lunchtime visit around 1 pm, the revisit to the restaurant had a 10% seating capacity. It was the first time I had seen it so empty! I ordered the pork curry with 400g of rice. The spiciness level was normal. The curry had a lot of ingredients, but I prefer a simple pork curry because that's where I can taste the curry flavor the most. Although I usually like to adjust the spiciness with the spices on the table, this restaurant didn't have any. It seems to be CoCo Ichibanya's style not to provide table items. When I was almost done with my meal, I noticed a small sign on the wall saying to call a staff member if I wanted spices and Worcestershire sauce. I wish they had informed me about this when I ordered or when the food was served. If I have the chance, I might revisit this restaurant.

It had been two years since I last had CoCo Ichibanya, and the last time I ate at the Yutenji location, I didn't find it particularly delicious. However, this time, I was satisfied with the taste. I thought it would be even better if the tonkatsu was thicker. The flavors were well-balanced and reliable. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit to Cocoichi since the new year. I'm a sucker for limited edition items, so this time I tried the "Grandmother Curry" (880 yen) from the limited menu until the end of February. It looked delicious, right? The curry had pork, potatoes, carrots, onions, and green beans. It's a common curry, but it tasted really good. I also won a unique spoon made in Tsubame Sanjo, known for metal processing. It feels a bit strange bringing a spoon back to the office, but it's actually quite handy. Thank you for the meal~

CoCo Ichibanya's soup curry is different from the one in Sapporo. It's like a curry with reduced viscosity and increased spiciness, so it doesn't feel satisfying as soup curry. Adding toppings is the key. By adding beef stew, it becomes like a curry beef bowl. Even though the rice is served separately, bringing the taste of the beef to a semi-leading role surprisingly makes it taste good. It seems there is still room for enjoyment at CoCo Ichibanya, despite having visited many times.

I visited "CoCo Ichibanya Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station Front Store" on a Saturday afternoon in December 2019. Located just a 1-minute walk from Roppongi Station, the restaurant was about 30% full. I ordered the seasonal menu item, Oyster Fry Curry, along with a half-cooked egg with tartar sauce and level 4 spiciness. The oyster fry curry arrived with 4 pieces of perfectly sized oyster fry on top. The oyster fry had a good balance of flavors and was delicious. I mixed the half-cooked egg and tartar sauce into the curry, sprinkled some CoCo Ichibanya original Fukujinzuke on top, and enjoyed the combination of flavors. The oyster fry, curry, tartar sauce, and egg blended well together, creating a mild yet satisfying taste. The portion size was just right, but the total cost of over 1,000 yen was a bit pricey for what I expected from CoCo Ichibanya.

Liver is known as the king of iron. It is rich in vitamin B1, which breaks down carbohydrates, as well as vitamin A, vitamin C, and various minerals. Chives also contain vitamin E, dietary fiber, and folic acid with antioxidant properties. Liver and chive stir-fry is a very nutritious dish for the body. If you're not a fan of these ingredients, you could try mixing them into curry. At "CoCo Ichibanya Roppongi Ekimae", they offer a dish called "Liver and Chive Stew Curry" (857 yen) upon request, even though it's not on the menu. I finally got to try it after hearing about it and forgetting to order it on previous visits. The taste was as expected, but I found that the spiciness level of "normal" made it taste a bit too sweet. It might be better to ask for it to be made spicier. Other branches may also offer this dish, so if you're interested, ask the staff at each location. Enjoy your meal!

Today was a day of hard work from the morning. We all helped with the task of putting soil in the dog run, which was filled with puddles after heavy rain. I was exhausted before heading to work. My body felt weak, so I decided to treat myself to some meat for lunch. But since my stomach was feeling off in the morning, I thought maybe I should have udon instead. However, determined to push through, I decided to go for curry at "CoCo Ichibanya Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station Front Store." I ordered the seasonal Oyster Fry Curry, which is an adult spiced curry. It looked similar to the spiced curry I had last time, but with a twist... THE Asia. It seems to have coconut milk in it. Let's give it a try. I ordered the "Adult Spiced Curry The Asia" (1,169 yen) with an additional 2 oyster fries. The curry came with 5-6 small shrimps and 2 oyster fries. As I ate, it gradually became spicy. It was delicious, but subtly spicy. Despite the hot day, my body felt warm due to the spice, and the oysters helped me recover my energy. This spiced curry is available until the end of November. Now that I feel energized, I'll push through a little more (and then returned to the office).

Suddenly craving curry? Head to Coco Ichibanya! The limited-time menu "Adult Spice Curry the Chikibeji" at Coco Ichibanya Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station is a must-try until the end of September. For just 952 yen for a regular portion, you can add an extra level of spiciness for just 21 yen. The dish is quite stimulating with a blend of parsley, cumin, cardamom, oregano, chili peppers, pepper, and Sichuan peppercorns. The vegetables include okra and cherry tomatoes, making it quite delicious. Whether you try this dish again before the end of September or opt for another exclusive menu at the Roppongi store, Coco Ichibanya will satisfy your curry cravings. Enjoy your meal!

In the mid-afternoon, I was craving curry and stumbled upon Coco Ichibanya! I thought the prices were a bit high for curry, but the taste was consistently delicious. This time, I had the pork shabu curry, and the combination of pork shabu and curry was perfect. Coco Ichibanya allows you to customize the spiciness and rice portion, which is great. This time, I went with a basic level of spiciness and a normal amount of rice.

No matter which store you go to, the taste is consistently delicious! Today, I also had some alcohol, so I topped my bowl with crispy chicken, spinach, and scrambled eggs. It was quite filling, so I left a little rice uneaten. The effort to offer different toppings to match your mood every day is amazing! They also have limited-time seasonal menus, so be sure to try those too!

Blog: Hangover Cure Meal at CoCo Ichibanya Instagram ● CoCo Ichibanya Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station Front Store
We decided to go to CoCo Ichibanya for some curry, and headed to Roppongi Station. It's been a while since I last visited, and this time, I didn't have to wait in line even though it was lunchtime, thanks to the rainy weather. As soon as I stepped inside, the strong aroma of their delicious curry filled the air, making my hunger even more intense.
● Lunch Menu
There are various toppings available, but I usually stick to the same choices. Spinach Curry Rice Large serving Spice Level 3 with plenty of clams This time, I also added sausages as a topping.
● Customization
I ordered the Spinach Curry and waited for about ten minutes. The curry arrived with spinach, clams, sausages, and three levels of spiciness. CoCo Ichibanya's spice level 3 is quite hot, so if you're not good with spicy food, it's best to be cautious. Each table has a powder called "Tobikara" for those who like it extra spicy, so you can sprinkle it on and adjust the heat level to your liking.
As for toppings, I highly recommend the clams. They add a seafood flavor that complements the curry well. I added spinach for some vegetables, and its sweetness goes perfectly with the curry. With the additional sausages this time, the curry became a bit more hearty. The crispy sausages were delicious.
● Thank you for the meal
It was delicious coming back to CoCo Ichibanya after a while. I'm completely satisfied. CoCo Ichibanya may be found everywhere, but with each topping added, the price goes up, making it a high-end curry. It can even exceed 2,000 yen if you get carried away. However, the secret to why people keep coming back is the surprisingly tasty curry that goes down smoothly even when hungover, and the often overlooked fact that the rice is delicious too. When you crave a quick and tasty curry, CoCo Ichibanya is the place to go. Highly recommended.

There are around 1,700 stores both domestically and internationally. In Roppongi, Coco Ichibanya is located near Don Quijote, Supajiro, and Chinatown. I noticed that there is a menu item on the regular menu that is cheaper than the limited-time "Pork Tenderloin Curry." So, I decided to try the "Beef Cutlet Curry (844 yen)" instead. It seemed like a good deal compared to the tonkatsu. I enjoyed my meal and felt like I got a good dose of nutrients. Thank you for the meal!

(^0_0^)ブヒー "Handmade crispy tonkatsu with spinach" ♥️(o゚з゚o)ノ When you pour curry sauce over freshly fried tonkatsu, it's pure happiness ♥️ And for the spinach, pickled radish is a must! When you enjoy delicious food, sharing the experience with others is essential ♥️ Oh! That's "ho-ren-so"! (>д<*)

I tried the summer limited menu. It was delicious as usual. It was a bit disappointing that it took some time for the food to be served even though the restaurant was not crowded.
