I visited the Denny's at Komagome Station in the Metz building. It had been a while since I last visited, as many Denny's near my workplace have been closing down. I ordered the Cut Steak for 1132 yen (including rice). You can choose from grated radish sauce, garlic soy sauce, black garlic, or black onion sauce. I chose the garlic soy sauce. The side dishes included potatoes, spinach, and onions. I didn't have high expectations for a steak at a family restaurant, but it was surprisingly delicious, maybe because of the sauce. It was just the right amount of meat for someone like me who doesn't like fatty cuts. I'm not sure if it was Aussie or American beef. The staff's service was good, and it seems like they are well-trained. The only thing that bothered me was the dust on the hanging light above the table. Other than that, I was generally satisfied.

In December 2014, I stayed at this hotel in Komagome after attending a junior colleague's celebration party. I had booked a smoking single room with breakfast included for 10,900 yen through a travel company's website about a month prior. I checked in around 4:40 pm on Sunday and checked out around 7:20 am on Monday. The hotel is conveniently located right next to JR Komagome Station, just a 30-second walk from the south exit. The surrounding area is very convenient for getting around Tokyo. The hotel is a new 9-story building with a clean exterior. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator or escalator. There is a convenience store on the 1st floor and a family restaurant on the 2nd floor. The rooms are not very spacious but comfortable. The pillows are made by Tempur-Pedic, which helped me sleep well. The bathroom was also in good condition. My room had a view of the station rotary, but rooms on the other side probably have a view of the JR Komagome Station platform. Breakfast is served at the Denny's Komagome Station branch from 6 am to 11 am. I had breakfast from 7 am to 7:20 am and it was a mix of hotel guests and outside customers dining there. You can choose from a variety of side dishes, main dishes, and drinks. I chose scrambled eggs, toast set, and iced coffee. The food was served quickly and tasted as expected. The hotel may be a bit pricey, but it is comfortable and the location is excellent.
