Less than a 10-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, this underground restaurant offers a variety of dishes including assorted sashimi, tempura skewers, and braised pork. The interior is spacious enough that you won't be bothered by nearby conversations. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Kinshicho Station South Exit is located about a five-minute walk towards Kameido, near the Toei Sumida Hospital. Although I faintly remember coming here once with my parents a long time ago, this is essentially my first visit. I sat at the counter and ordered a highball, which was served with pickled sushi as a complimentary dish. Just by looking at it, you can feel the unique sticky texture of the pickled sushi. At this point, my expectations were already high. I ordered simmered limpets, octopus carpaccio, and Western-style beef tendon stew. The limpets were served with the shells still attached. When I tried to pull them out with a toothpick, the liver got cut. It was frustrating. Despite this, I showed determination in using the toothpick to remove the cut liver. The carpaccio was topped with capers, one per piece of octopus, which was a great touch. The stew had a tomato base and was richer than it looked. I enjoyed dipping the bread in the stew. Everything was delicious, and they seem to have a wide variety of drinks, so I highly recommend it.

The first dish served was sushi. The master personally goes to the market to buy ingredients, so the tuna sashimi was delicious as always. However, I was already full today so I didn't eat much. As time passed, I started to get hungry again and enjoyed the grilled saury with white rice. It was delicious! ✨

Fresh. Mountain cat. Futosa protruding taro simmered sashimi platter 3 points pickled celery simmered daikon konnyaku spicy various regrets. The taro has a good taste but is a bit tough. The sashimi is dry. Wasabi is straight from the tube. The tuna seems to be good value. The celery is delicious, but it's pickled and different from what was expected from the menu name. The daikon is well cooked but too salty. The konnyaku was expected to be stir-fried with sesame oil and chili pepper, but it's like a steak with an excessive amount of pepper. The master is like a stubborn old man from a ramen shop, initially with poor service but gradually becoming more polite as the order progresses. I didn't like it. No repeat visits.

The restaurant is located away from the station with few shops around, so it takes courage to enter for the first time (lol), especially since I was alone. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and the seating space is spacious, making it quite comfortable. The drink menu is extensive, with a wide variety of plum wine. The food was a bit too salty for my taste, but the sushi appetizer was delicious without needing soy sauce, with a perfect flavor. Surprisingly, there were no bean snacks like edamame despite the restaurant's name. Since it's close to my home and the atmosphere is not bad, I might stop by again.

I decided to go to this restaurant recommended by a friend. The entrance was a bit intimidating, but once inside, there were rows of craftsmen-like middle-aged men... I was a bit nervous haha. There was fried pasta on the table, which I assume is complimentary. The appetizer was sushi! It was marinated and very delicious. The fact that the fish was tasty raised my expectations. Tofu salad with sesame dressing was sweet and tangy, using a miso-based sauce. It went well with the lettuce. The potato fries were only 300 yen and very affordable. The whitefish ponzu had a nice balance of acidity and the whitefish was creamy. The flounder carpaccio with basil sauce was delicious, with a great texture. The wagyu beef tataki with a sweet sauce was tender and tasty. The oyster gratin with cheese was surprisingly good, even for someone who doesn't like oysters. The potato cheese gratin was also delicious, with a nice cheesy flavor. The daily spaghetti with pork and cabbage pasta had a soy sauce base, giving it a nostalgic taste. It was also topped with seaweed, which was great. There were five of us, so we also had shrimp and cheese spring rolls, assorted tempura skewers, and other dishes on the table, but I only listed what we ate. The restaurant has great value for money, and everything was delicious. In terms of ambiance, there weren't many seats with backrests, so it could be improved, but overall, it was a great restaurant. The recommended dishes seem to change frequently, so I would like to go back and try more. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant at the end of the year on a whim. It's located underground, so I couldn't see the inside from outside which made me a bit anxious, but the atmosphere inside was quite calming. The seating was spacious, and even though there were no private rooms, it was still a relaxing place. First, I was surprised by the appetizer! It was sushi. It was marinated and ready to eat, which was nice. The grated yam salad was unexpectedly made with grated yam, but it was delicious. The shrimp and cheese spring rolls, as well as the bacon-wrapped oysters, were exceptional. All the dishes allowed the flavors of the ingredients to shine through and were delicious. The selection of sake was limited, but they had a variety of shochu options not listed on the menu, so I was able to enjoy different drinks. I tend to eat and drink a lot, so my average spending per customer is usually high, but here I ended up spending less than I thought, so I think it's a good value for the money. I found a great restaurant at the end of the year!

Kinshicho was completely unfamiliar to me, but I was invited by an acquaintance for work. There were plenty of plum wines, and my female colleagues also joined. The underground restaurant had a beautiful wooden interior and a nice atmosphere. There were many female customers as well. We were seated at a slightly cramped 4-person table, as there were no private rooms. We ordered the kimchi hot pot, a sashimi platter, wagyu carpaccio, bomb croquettes, scallop and avocado salad, and Kaga plum wine. Kaga plum wine is refreshing and delicious, right? I occasionally come across it, but I always enjoy it. The food was good, at a normal level with a little something extra.

There are many types of plum wine, but I recommend Takachiho! When you go, you must try it! However, it is expensive. If you drink a lot, it can get pricey, but if you drink moderately, it's not that expensive. The location is a bit hard to find as it's not in the bustling area around Kinshicho Station, but it's along a main street so if you have a general idea of the location, you shouldn't get lost. There are no private rooms or partitions, so it's not recommended for those who want to enjoy with close friends as it can get loud and you may not be able to hear each other. The food is delicious, and it's recommended for those who love plum wine.

The most memorable dish was the sushi appetizer. It was very delicious with a hint of sweetness. They had a wide variety of plum wine, which made it hard to choose. There were also many other types of alcohol available. While there were many creative dishes, I thought it would be nice to have more classic menu options. The croquette with mayonnaise sauce called "Bakudan" was impressive, but the taste was just average. The takoyaki gratin was a bit mediocre. The garlic fried rice was fragrant and tasty. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and very pleasant to dine in. The staff were also very friendly. I would love to visit this restaurant again when I'm in Kinshicho.

I have visited this restaurant many times! Recently, I haven't been able to go due to my schedule. It's located underground, a short walk from the station. The interior is spacious, with jazz music playing in the background, dim lighting, and a calming atmosphere with wooden decor. It's so comfortable that you can easily lose track of time. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. I was pleasantly surprised when they served sushi as a complimentary appetizer, it melted in my mouth! All the dishes are delicious, although some may be a bit too richly seasoned at times. The fried pasta snacks that are always on the table are addictive. They have a great selection of drinks too, making it enjoyable. The owner is friendly and approachable, which I like. The only improvement needed is the smell in the restroom, it strongly smells like sewage. I always have to hold my breath when entering. If they could fix that, it would be perfect!

Exiting on the south side of Kinshicho, crossing the Keiyo Highway, and walking along the road towards Chiba for about 5 minutes, you will find the restaurant. The entrance is underground, so be sure not to miss it (laughs). The interior is spacious and simple, but has a nice atmosphere. It seems that the menu has changed quite a bit since I was last recommended to visit by an acquaintance. Some of the dishes I tried were: "Scallop and Avocado Salad" - a classic salad with a good taste. "Shrimp rolled omelette" - I wanted a bit more of a "shrimp" taste. "Bomb Croquette" - impressive appearance (laughs), a large croquette with plenty of white sauce. The taste was also delicious. "Sea Urchin Tomato Cream Pasta" - it had the taste of sea urchin (sometimes you encounter restaurants where you can't taste it at all), and it was delicious. All the dishes were good. It's definitely different from chain restaurants. They seem to focus on drinks as well, maybe they put effort into plum wine? It has a nice atmosphere that seems good for women (there were actually many women). It's a bit of a hidden gem, not too far from the station.

We made a reservation for 3 people around 7pm on a regular Wednesday. We were looking for a non-chain restaurant in Kinshicho, and a local friend recommended this place to us. The interior had a few table seats at the back, with mostly counter seats and a cozy atmosphere where you could easily get the attention of the staff. If you prefer table seating for 3 or more people, it's better to make a reservation in advance. The food was a mix of Japanese and Italian fusion cuisine, which we enjoyed. The drink selection wasn't extensive, but they had a variety of plum wines that would be appreciated by female customers. Due to its location, there were many customers from nearby hospitals, and we found it to be a calm and enjoyable place to have a meal and drinks, different from chain restaurants.
