This time, I would like to introduce a highball bar called "Gindaco Highball Sakaba" located at the south exit of JR Tachikawa Station. This chain restaurant is produced by Gindaco and specializes in highball drinks. This visit was aimed at taking advantage of the happy hour until 6 pm on weekdays. I visited with two colleagues from work. We arrived just in time at 17:50. The happy hour special price for a "Kaku Highball" was 220 yen, which is a great deal compared to the regular price of 429 yen. We ordered: Happy Hour Kaku Highball x4 = 880 yen Jin Beam Highball x3 = 1287 yen Takoyaki (4 pieces) = 341 yen Teritama (4 pieces) = 407 yen Takoyaki (6 pieces) = 509 yen Vinegared Offal = 418 yen. The classic takoyaki was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, making it a delicious snack with the highball. The happy hour was a great value for money, and we had a fun and enjoyable time. In the end, the total bill for two people was 3842 yen. Thank you for the meal.

February company drinking party with my colleagues, we went to a standing bar for our second round as my colleagues were tired. We decided to try out the Ginza-dako Izakaya right in front of us. We ordered at the table and paid by showing our table number tag when leaving. I sat at the furthest table in the back with a TV behind me, and the staff kindly asked if they should lower the volume. We didn't mind, so we continued chatting while watching TV. It had been a while since I last visited Ginza-dako due to the high prices, but the food was still delicious. Even after some time, the food was still piping hot. I don't smoke, but there was a smoking area right next to our table at the back of the restaurant, which made my colleagues feel at ease. Overall, I would rate it 3.0 on Tabelog - a decent place to eat.

I went to this restaurant because it was featured on Jobtune and it caught my interest. I didn't know there was an izakaya-style store like Gindaco with a highball bar. The menu items produced by the excellent employee Anzumi, such as "Octopus Sashimi," "Potato Salad," and not by Anzumi but the "Chicken Wings" were especially delicious! Octopus Sashimi: Anzumi gave instructions on how to cut the octopus at each store he visited. It's different from carpaccio even though it's just olive oil. Potato Salad: It has a spicy kick from the bacon and black pepper, making it perfect for enjoying with highballs. I really like this one! Chicken Wings: I wasn't planning on ordering this because I usually go for spicy fried chicken wings, but my husband wanted to try them and they turned out to be incredibly delicious! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and the garlic and chili pepper added a great flavor! It might actually be a unanimous decision that this dish is amazing! All the menu items developed by Anzumi were top-notch! I also wanted to try the unanimously loved "Croissant Taiyaki," but unfortunately, it's not available at this location. I wonder where they sell it?

[Order] Takoyaki with sauce, Takoyaki with mentaiko, Takoyaki with teriyaki sauce, Takoyaki with grated ponzu, Mega highball [Impression] I had a strong craving for takoyaki and highball, so I headed to Gindako Sakaba. Normally, takeout orders come in 6 or 8 pieces, but at this place, the standard is 4 pieces, which allows for trying various types even when dining alone. The combination of Gindako and highball is a perfect match, and you can eat as many pieces as you want. Around 4 pm, customers start coming in, so it might get crowded depending on the time. I stopped by after watching a movie in Tachikawa. I always thought of Gindaco as a takeout place, but it seems like they have been adding more izakaya-style settings recently. Unlike Osaka's takoyaki, the outside of Gindaco's takoyaki is crispy, which is a good point.

Just a 3-minute walk from JR Tachikawa Station, along Suzuran Street (the former site of Mister Donut), you'll find "Tsukiji Gindako Highball Sakaba Tachikawa Store"! Despite having temporarily closed during the pandemic, this place has become a familiar spot for many, offering a pub-style experience by the well-known Gindako brand. The interior has a nostalgic Showa-era vibe with large tables, backless round chairs, waitstaff wearing aprons, and a noren curtain with the restaurant's name. It's clean and doesn't feel outdated in a negative way. Surprisingly spacious inside, with decent spacing between tables, making it quite comfortable to dine in. The menu includes their signature takoyaki, pickles, edamame, fried foods, grilled dishes, and more, comparable to a regular izakaya. Personally, I recommend the chicken skin skewers! Ordering 10 pieces gives you a good deal on a substantial portion. As for drinks, the highball featuring Suntory whisky seems to be a popular choice, and it pairs well with their crispy outside, tender inside takoyaki. Whether you're looking to have a hearty drinking session or a casual night out, this place is a great option.

It has been a few years since I last dined in this restaurant. It is not just a takoyaki-focused place, but rather a casual izakaya with a variety of menu options, including popular highball drinks. We ordered what you see in the photo. It was a light meal to pass the time. We had a couple of drinks and some food for a total of 4500 yen. They serve a small appetizer (today it was komatsuna), which adds to the cost. Overall, the value for money is not that great. The restaurant is relatively crowded, with customers sitting close to each other. However, the customers seem unfazed by this. Hopefully, the days of overreacting will be over soon. I was a bit surprised that the gyoza was small and priced at 440 yen for four pieces.

Highball from midday! Takoyaki is definitely from Gindaco (≧◡≦)♡ The green onions are delicious. I am happy. I came back to life because it's hot! lol The set menu with fried chicken, highball, and four takoyaki was around 980 yen. The yakisoba is flavorful and easy to eat.

I had a set of 4 takoyaki balls and a highball. I chose the spicy mayonnaise for the takoyaki. The takoyaki from Gindaco are deep-fried in a large amount of oil, but this time it seemed like they were fried a bit too much. The carbonation in the highball also felt a bit weak. It seems like providing consistent quality is quite challenging.

Gindaco Highball Takeout, located on Suzuran Street at the south exit of Tachikawa Station, offers takoyaki for takeout as well as a sit-down dining experience at their Gindaco Sakaba. The interior of the restaurant features a counter as well as round table seating, extending quite far back and surprisingly spacious. The menu includes a variety of options such as yakisoba, teppanyaki like tonpei-yaki, fried foods like takoyaki, and skewered items like beef skewers and chicken skin. The atmosphere was a bit awkward due to the kitchen staff seemingly yelling at the waitstaff, which was off-putting. The prices for items like takoyaki, highballs, lemon sours, and other dishes ranged from 216 yen for an appetizer to 650 yen for negi-dako. The appetizer, which seemed like a commercial-grade potato salad without any toppings, was a bit underwhelming for the price. However, the cheese monjayaki was surprisingly delicious, with a fluffy cheese and egg base topped with crushed takoyaki. The takoyaki was also tasty and the takoyaki tempura had a nice texture. Overall, the prices may seem a bit high for some items, but the quality of the food at Gindaco Highball was consistent and satisfying.

Unusually for Kawai, he decided to have a casual drink after work. He recently indulged in a feast in Osaka, where he visited three takoyaki shops. He thought it would be interesting to compare them, so he visited this one. He arrived at 21:40 and found the place quite crowded. He was seated at the counter and looked at the menu. He decided on takoyaki and highball, but also noticed they had yakitori and yakisoba. He ordered "Tsubo Kyu" (cucumber in a jar), "4 pieces of takoyaki," and a "Mega Highball." The place was clean and new, as it had been open for less than a year. The atmosphere was lively, with mostly young customers. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and hot inside, with a soft octopus texture and mild sauce. He enjoyed it with the highball. He ordered the "Mega Highball" which was twice the size, and he felt satisfied. Overall, he preferred the softer takoyaki here compared to the original one he had tried before. The service was friendly and energetic. Kawai left the restaurant feeling content.

Gindako Sakaba at the south exit of Tachikawa. I tried it for a light drink. It had been a long time since I had Gindako. In addition to takoyaki, the menu is quite extensive. I had fried chicken, miso cutlet, and chicken skin. I asked for green onion ponzu sauce for the takoyaki. The takoyaki was round and fried to perfection. It's been a while since I had this kind of takoyaki. It's almost like fried food, so it goes well with a strong carbonated highball. The menu is served quickly, so it's easy to drink even with a short time. It seems like a good place for day drinking as well. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to have a light drink, so I was wandering around Tachikawa Minamiguchi when I saw a familiar sign. I couldn't resist and stopped by. The takoyaki was hot, but unfortunately not very tasty.
