Wow, delicious!! I wasn't expecting much from the soft serve ice cream, but it's really tasty! The one with gold leaf is a bit pricey at 1000 yen, but it's so delicious that it's a great snack to enjoy while walking around the Imperial Palace! I would love to have it again while taking a stroll!

I finished watching the general visit earlier than everyone else and waited at the meeting time by this equestrian statue. I bought a dorayaki. It has a moderate sweetness of red bean paste and a sweet taste in the skin. It has a refined taste and was very delicious.

Since it became Reiwa era, I decided to visit the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. There is a shop in front of the statue of Masanari Kusunoki. After walking a lot, I took a break while looking at the beautiful lawn and vast grounds. Next to the shop, there is a small hut where you can sit inside. I ordered a Yubari melon soft serve for 1500 yen. The melon was perfectly ripe. The sweetness of the soft serve was just right. It was a luxurious time. It's recommended as it is also close to Tokyo Station. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by this shop on a weekday in December 2015 during lunchtime. The shop is located near the statue of Kusunoki Masashige standing proudly in the outer gardens of the Imperial Palace. They sell cold drinks, coffee, beer, as well as keychains, postcards, and calendars featuring the Imperial Family. The shop has noticeable Chinese characters on display. During my visit, I noticed many foreign tourists, including those from China, at the outer gardens and the Imperial Palace Plaza. I bought a canned coffee from a vending machine with English, Chinese, and Korean labels and enjoyed it on a bench near the shop.

I went to the Imperial Palace and received a souvenir, "Imperial Palace Outer Gardens Chrysanthemum Manju" with 8 pieces. It's a grateful treat! I'll enjoy it with a cup of tea and sitting in seiza position. According to the description, it's a Japanese sweet with a moist egg yolk filling wrapped in a soft dough. It's a delicate and delicious treat, so I savored it carefully.

I visited the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens after a long time and decided to try the udon noodles at a small shop there. The shop was located near a statue of Masanari Okumura, a famous figure from Osaka. I ordered the udon noodles with a choice of two types of broth (one made from sake and the other a Tokyo-style broth). I chose the "tanuki" udon which had a chewy texture and a flavorful broth. The coffee I ordered was also delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful, with people resting on benches and enjoying the autumn weather. It was a great spot for a relaxing break and some thoughtful reflection. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a leisurely visit.
