Things are getting lively here~^_^ When we tried to enter the second restaurant, a chicken dish shop called ○○ Shouten, there were available seats but the staff didn't seem to be cleaning up or preparing for us. It seemed like there might have been a problem at the register with two employees dealing with it, and they might have forgotten about us. While waiting outside, we saw customers coming out of the adjacent yakiniku restaurant, Toraji, so we checked with the staff at ○○ Shouten and they quickly said, "We'll clean up in 3 minutes!" and promptly prepared a table for us. They also politely informed us of the closing time, which was appreciated. This restaurant must have well-trained staff, probably already seasoned employees, but it's important not to forget the basics. Such customer service can really make a difference in the success of a restaurant. I think these are the moments that give us a boost when dining out~^_^ When we asked another staff member for recommendations, they explained the menu as per the manual, and also shared their personal favorites. Plus, we got a 20% discount which was a great deal. The quality of the meat at Toraji was excellent as expected, and the beer was also very good, especially with the addition of a thin beer foam. The quality of the beer really enhanced the drinking experience. I remember hearing about it when it was a popular yakiniku restaurant and visiting when I was younger. Since then, the number of shops has increased rapidly. Recently, many new restaurants have been opening under the guard underpass between Yurakucho and Tokyo Station. Toraji has opened a shop there. I'm not sure when it opened, maybe less than a year ago? It's definitely a new shop. A recommendation is that since most of the staff are trainees, they will give you a 20% discount on the total bill if you order from Toraji's menu. If you want to enjoy yakiniku easily and are around Yurakucho, I highly recommend it.
