Hello, this is reviewer muge from the category "Other"! I went to see Top Gun: Maverick and it was so moving after 36 years! I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, so I passed on popcorn and opted for a Coke Zero instead of beer. The Coke Zero was 380 yen and it was refreshing! A great movie with a clean finish! Johnsonville, a brand maybe? The hot dogs are quite tasty. I wondered why Costa Coffee is so prevalent in movie theaters, then I recently realized that it's backed by Coca-Cola. This movie theater in the Higashijo area is a rare find that hosts a 10 a.m. film festival.

Watching a movie grants you 3 hours of free parking, but in reality, it's more like 4 hours, which is perfect for strolling around Kinshicho after the movie. The area near Kinshicho Station, east of the Sumida River, is bustling with great shops and is a great place to have lunch.

What's great about this place is that you get 3 hours of free parking when you watch a movie. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, which is a plus. Another TOHO Cinemas location, Rakutenchi, is close to the station but doesn't offer free parking. In Kinshicho, known as the stronghold of the east, there are many good restaurants serving dishes like tonkatsu and seafood bowls.

The best value for money at the movie theater is TOHO Cinemas. The bill comes to around 2000 yen per person, including churros (chocolate), a little bit of chicken, and a coffee set (coffee has gone up in price, now +30 yen). I also ordered a frozen drink (strawberry). Movie tickets for two people can be a bit pricey, but I like the atmosphere, so I end up buying them anyway (lol). You can also reserve seats in advance, so it's definitely better to make a reservation (from the day before midnight). I'm looking forward to the next movie release as well! 😊🎬

Purchased a popcorn and drink set as a movie snack. I heard that for iced tea, lemon is not available, only gum syrup or milk. There were different types of popcorn to choose from, and I opted for the unusual sesame oil flavor. The sesame oil flavored popcorn was delicious! The aroma of the sesame oil was rich and blended perfectly with the salt. By the time the main feature of the movie started, I had already finished eating most of it. Thank you for the meal.

Went to TOHO Cinemas Kinshi-cho with a friend to watch "Lady Bird". I usually don't like eating while watching a movie, but my friend wanted to get snacks from the concession stand. We got a popcorn set for 670 yen and a Sprite (M) for 360 yen. I chose iced coffee as my drink. The popcorn set was the same price as the popcorn pair set, but the large size was too much. The popcorn had a mild saltiness, but was still a bit salty. The Sprite tasted nostalgic and was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is the snack sales corner at the movie theater, and it's very clean. Soft drinks in a cup are 480 yen, while bottled water is 250 yen. It's quite expensive. There's a supermarket in the same building, so maybe it's better to buy drinks there. My daughter really wanted popcorn, so we bought some. It's 310 yen for small, 360 yen for medium, and 470 yen for large. Flavors include butter soy sauce, mentaiko mayonnaise, seaweed salt, and barbecue. Surprisingly, premium caramel popcorn is 700 yen. I opted for a draft beer for 500 yen. This place seems like it's making good profit (^^)

I went to see Frozen with my friend and their child. It was the first day of the release and a Sunday, so the theater was very crowded and the screen was fully booked. The popcorn flavors available were salt and caramel (there were other flavored popcorn options as well). The sizes available were S, M, and L, with the L size being the only one that could be half salt and half caramel. I ordered the S size caramel popcorn. I was a bit surprised to see that the popcorn maker at the back of the counter was not in use, as the staff were scooping the popcorn from under the register counter. They gave me a generous amount of popcorn. The popcorn was mostly white in color, and the strong flavored ones made up less than a third of the mix. The caramel flavor was similar to caramel sauce on pudding, slightly bitter and not too buttery, with a clean sweetness. By the end of the movie, there was hardly any popcorn left on my son's lap where I had placed it. It was a good thing we had eaten most of it at the beginning.

When it comes to movie theaters, I bought popcorn here. The drinks were generally expensive, with even a 500ml PET bottle of water costing 250 yen. The popcorn was around 450 yen for a medium size, but it was surprisingly huge, more than enough for two people. The taste was really good, consistently crunchy with no flavor inconsistencies. The size made it enjoyable, but it was quite a challenge to finish. I wish they would make it a bit smaller and cheaper.
