The cafe attached to the movie theater near Kikukawa Station, which seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, exudes a slightly unique sense of style in the downtown area. Around 11:00 am on a weekday, there was only one other group of customers. Upon entering, you will see a lineup of goods and logos in a blue color scheme. The shop has a cute and well-defined brand concept, with goods that make you want to buy them. Since I hadn't had breakfast, I ordered an early lunch of a pork sandwich and a milk brew coffee, which seemed to be a limited-time item. The pork sandwich menu had a photo but lacked much description, simply stating "cheese." It had an unexpectedly Asian ethnic flavor, reminiscent of a Vietnamese banh mi or Thai larb. Squeezing the accompanying lemon added a refreshing and delicious touch. I personally enjoy Asian ethnic flavors, so I found it very tasty, but I can imagine that some people may not like it. Although it was very delicious, the portion size was small, and at 880 yen for a single item, I had some doubts. In a time when there are many gourmet burger places where you can get a meaty burger with sides for under 2000 yen, the satisfaction level here is a bit low. However, considering that it is a cafe attached to a movie theater, it may be understandable. The milk brew coffee, while rare, was quite light in terms of coffee flavor, almost like milk with a hint of coffee aroma. Even as someone who can't drink black coffee, I felt like I wanted a bit more coffee flavor. In terms of just using the cafe, the cost-performance ratio may not feel great, but considering it as a stylish cafe not found in Kikukawa, attached to a movie theater, it makes sense. The way the menu is chosen and the cuteness of the goods show that they have put a lot of effort into creating a strong brand image for this place. However, perhaps due to visiting during a quiet time, the shop was very quiet, and the voices of the staff echoed a lot, which didn't quite match the atmosphere of the place, feeling a bit disappointing. I would like to try using it when watching a movie next time.
