Visited around 10pm on Wednesday, the restaurant was small with about 3 table seats and 5 counter seats. One drink was required. I had a scallop risotto (forgot the menu name) which seemed like a small portion, but it was actually quite filling. It had a good amount of scallops which made me happy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.

Next to the elevated highway, there is a cozy bar called "喜丸" run by a ramen shop owner. It's tucked away on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building next door. They started serving lunch around the time of last year's lockdown (or maybe even earlier, I'm not sure), and I've been curious about it ever since (but always forgot to go, or coincidentally passed by right after having lunch). The door was closed, which made me a bit unsure if this was the right place, but since there was no other shop on the 2nd floor, I timidly pushed the door and was greeted with a warm "Welcome". It was around 11:30 am, with one customer already seated (and more customers came later). There were still a few portions left of the daily special, but I hesitated on the Porcini cream sauce with Burrata, thinking it might be too rich... so I ordered the Crab Tomato Cream Pasta (1200 yen) instead. The lunch came with a side salad. The pasta was served in about 10 minutes... and wow, it was delicious! The chewy Tagliatelle with rich crab-flavored tomato cream sauce was a delight! Occasionally, you'd get a crunchy bite of crab shell, but that just added to the charm. For 1200 yen, I think it's quite a good deal. They also had a selection of reasonably priced wines (like Pinot or Cabernet) displayed on the counter. It seems like a nice place for a wine bar in the evening. I'd love to stop by again if I happen to pass by.

I arrived a little after 11 o'clock on a regular day. As I walked along the railway tracks, I saw a sign that read "Italian bar for adults to gather". I climbed the stairs to the second floor, where I found the entrance door on the right side. Since it was early, there were no other customers. I was seated at a table in the back, not at the counter. There were four lunch menu options: 1) Porcini mushroom creamy pasta, 2) Beef 100% meat sauce pasta, 3) Shrimp and peeled clam Japanese-style oil pasta, and 4) Bacon carbonara with plenty of salad for 1000 yen, or 1200 yen with a drink. (Option 1 was 200 yen more expensive than the other pastas). They offered a free large serving, but I didn't want to get sleepy in the afternoon, so I ordered the regular portion of the meat sauce pasta. The salad was promptly served, with cute yellow flower petals. It was heavily sprinkled with cheese powder along with the dressing, giving it a strong cheese flavor. After finishing the salad, the pasta arrived. It was my favorite flat noodles! The pasta was not a chunky meat sauce, but a tomato sauce with visible chunks of ground meat that coated the noodles well, with a little sauce drizzled on top, giving it an elegant touch. When I tasted it, the pasta was chewy and addictive. The sauce had a rich flavor with a refreshing twist, and I devoured it in no time. I have eaten a lot of pasta, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. I would love to come back here to eat pasta again.

At 'ITALIAN BAR Otta Yurakucho', adults can enjoy alcohol and Italian cuisine. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a slightly outdated building along the elevated tracks in Yurakucho. The concept is a "grown-up Italian bar" where adults can have a fun and casual time in a cozy atmosphere. The name Otta comes from the chef's last name, Hotta, which is pronounced without the H in Italian, so it was changed to the Italian pronunciation "Otta". The restaurant is run independently, and it is appreciated that they also open for lunch. They offer a lunch menu with quick pasta dishes made with fresh pasta, such as limited quantities of Hiroshima oyster and scallop cream pasta, mozzarella and tomato pasta, daily Japanese-style oil pasta, and bacon carbonara, all served with salad. Take-out is also available with a ¥200 discount (salad not included). Today, I had the bacon carbonara pasta set with a drink and added bread. The salad was a "mushroom and minced meat salad" with Caesar dressing, which had a good meaty texture that paired well with the salad. The baguette was surprisingly delicious, soft and chewy. The spaghetti was a "bacon carbonara with chunks of bacon", using bacon instead of guanciale and adding cream to the carbonara sauce. Despite the use of cream, the egg flavor was still prominent, and the sauce coated the tagliatelle pasta perfectly. The portion size might have been better with an extra large serving. The drink was an "iced coffee", possibly Lavazza, with a strong espresso flavor. The casual atmosphere of a trattoria paired with wine in the evening might be a good match. The chef at the counter was very friendly and welcoming, making it a safe and comfortable place for solo female diners.

Along the JR guard. One person ahead of me at a table, I'm at the counter. I get a bit impatient when things are slow. Salad came out at the same time as the person after me. The risotto was neither al dente nor flavorful. The baguette that came with it was also mediocre.

Before watching a movie at TOHO Cinemas, I decided to grab a bite to eat. Around 7pm on a Saturday, I tried going to a nearby restaurant called Chao, but was told there was a 30-minute wait. So, I decided to try this other restaurant that didn't seem to have a line. There were about 5 ladies already dining, enjoying some wine and creating a lively atmosphere. I ordered the red wine braised beef cheek, today's risotto with baguette, sakura shrimp and papaya salad, and a Bloody Orange juice. The orange juice and risotto were incredibly rich. The risotto had a slightly chewy texture with a clear indication that it was not just simply cooked rice. The red wine braised beef cheek was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth as soon as I took a bite. The tomato aroma and texture were amazing, and I found myself quickly finishing my plate. The bill for two women, with no alcohol, came to about 6000 yen for a portion that left us satisfied but not overly full. It's a great place to indulge in something delicious on those days when you want to treat yourself.

Italian Bar Otta is a restaurant located along the elevated tracks in Yurakucho. I couldn't get into my usual crowded spot, so I was drawn to the national flag and fresh pasta sign and decided to enter. The restaurant is on the second floor up the stairs, with only 16 seats making it cozy and homey. I chose the pasta lunch set (with salad) for 1000 yen, and added double noodles for an extra 300 yen. I had the following pasta options: Autumn eggplant and minced meat Arrabbiata, Mushroom burnt butter soy sauce, and Cod roe cream. The fresh pasta was chewy and delicious, and the mushrooms were tasty as well. Since it was just pasta and salad, I felt a bit unsatisfied. I couldn't drink as I was working, but they offer lunch beer and glass wine. It might be nice to have wine with the meal. Thank you for the meal.

I had truffle-flavored carbonara. It was rich and the noodles paired well with it. I think I'm going to get hooked on this dish. ★

The chewy fresh pasta for lunch comes with a side salad and Carbonara. I think even women would be satisfied with the large portion. The interior of the restaurant is small but clean. I would like to come back for dinner as well.

It seems like an Italian bar where adults gather. You go up a steep staircase to the second floor. I don't like the cramped counter seats. The cream pasta with Hiroshima oysters and white cabbage seaweed sauce. The oysters had a slight bitterness, which was disappointing. The fresh pasta came out surprisingly quickly.

Despite there being less than an hour left until closing time, the chef at this hidden gem restaurant is so considerate, telling us to take our time and not to worry.

The chewy fresh pasta "thick bacon carbonara" is delicious with just the right amount of black pepper! It is located along the railway tracks heading from Yurakucho to Shante. ♥щ(゜▽゜щ)

Italian restaurant in Yurakucho. The restaurant is small with about 6 counter seats and a few table seats. Despite its location, it gives off an impression of being not very crowded, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is calm due to its small size. The taste of the food is neither good nor bad. It is not particularly delicious, but considering the location in Yurakucho and the atmosphere of the restaurant, the cost performance is not bad.
