I recently made a reservation at my favorite restaurant and was taken there. The interior was filled with Okinawan goods, and when I ordered a bottle of awamori, they brought me a Ryukyu glass. It was cute. I don't drink awamori much, but mixing it with Shikuwasa juice makes it so easy to drink. The food was delicious and paired well with the alcohol, and even the Okinawan soba at the end was tasty. They even allowed us to bring in our own cakes with no hesitation. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch review. Lunch costs 1,000 yen, with an extra 100 yen for a large serving. I ordered the beef belly soba with a large serving for the first time, and it had about twice the amount of noodles as usual. It was a huge portion, but I managed to finish it somehow. The clear soup was refreshing and delicious. When ordering a large serving, it's best to do so when you're really hungry.

Great for a drinking party. The interior has a counter bar and sofa table seats, creating a comfortable environment. The A&W curly fries are delicious, and the Orion beer goes down smoothly. They also have a wide selection of whiskies, making it a good place to stop by for a drink.

【Points】①A rare Okinawan restaurant in the Roppongi area. ②Located in a room in an apartment building, so it is not very well-known yet, making it a good recommendation for lunch seekers. ③Smoking is allowed, so those who are concerned about it should avoid this place.
【Trigger/Purpose】I found this place while looking for lunch options near Roppongi.
【Location】About a 10-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The restaurant is like a hidden gem in a room in an apartment building.
【Atmosphere/Seating/Customers/Wifi/Toilet/Smoking/Baby strollers, etc.】The atmosphere of this restaurant features Okinawan elements since it serves Okinawan cuisine, which is quite rare in the Roppongi area. The seating includes counter seats, tables, and some private rooms. The customers were mostly middle-aged salarymen or pairs of two. Smoking is allowed inside, so be mindful of that. Due to this, the place was not very crowded, making it a good recommendation for lunch seekers.
【Food】(Reason for ordering, taste, portion, waiting time, other people's orders, etc.)
●Lunch - Goya Champuru (¥1,000)
The lunch menu seems to have 5-6 options prepared daily. I like Goya Champuru, so I ordered that. It cost exactly ¥1,000 and came with two side dishes and rice. It was just the right amount, leaving me satisfied at about 90% full after eating.

A Okinawan dining bar in Roppongi. Visited for lunch. The place looks like a renovated apartment room. Sat at the counter seats. Chose the Goya Champuru set meal. It seems like the Sanpin tea on the table is all-you-can-drink. The combination includes rice, soup, and pickles. The balance between Goya and tofu in the Goya Champuru was exquisite.

Roppongi's Okinawan cuisine restaurant. For lunch, I had the set meal with papaya champuru. It also came with island tofu and Soki soba, very filling. It was delicious. It would be even better if it was non-smoking...
Money spent: 1,000 yen

A Okinawan cuisine dining bar that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Located near the Blue Bottle Coffee in Roppongi. I was hungry late at night, so I was drawn to the Okinawan cuisine menu board on the street and decided to visit for the first time. I climbed the stairs to the second floor of a mixed-use building and entered the restaurant. It seemed like a former snack bar. Three energetic men in their mid-thirties greeted me warmly. They were childhood friends who had moved from Naha to Tokyo. Rafute, Goya Champuru, Somin Champuru, Jimami Tofu, all my favorite Okinawan dishes were delicious. The women sitting next to me were enjoying the food heartily. They sure can eat. Since it was late at night, I chatted with the Okinawan staff while drinking alcohol, talking about my love for Okinawa. It was so fun that I ended up visiting the restaurant with friends or alone, not just that day but night after night. When I jokingly called it an Okinawan male snack bar, the staff responded that it was an Okinawan cuisine restaurant. The hospitality and deliciousness of the food were quite impressive, with a great sense of value. There was no cover charge.

Hey there! I recently visited a Okinawan restaurant that opened in Roppongi. I was wandering around the alleys of Roppongi with my friends, looking for a place to grab a bite, when we stumbled upon this place. It was tucked away on the second floor of a building in a narrow alley, which made me a bit hesitant at first, but hey, sometimes those are the best finds, right? So we decided to give it a shot.
Once we entered the restaurant and looked at the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. We ordered some Okinawan-style appetizers and dishes to share among the four of us. The food was delicious, especially the rice dishes. The chef, who is originally from Okinawa, really knows how to make you feel like you're dining in Okinawa, if not better!
The drinks were also great, especially the lemon sour with lemon-infused alcohol. They had a wide selection of awamori, so I tried the spring roll curry with coffee awamori. The staff were friendly and we hit it off well, so we even had a toast with habu sake, which apparently has some special meaning for couples, but I was too drunk to remember.
After enjoying a good amount of food and drinks, I expected the bill to be around 30,000 yen for four people, but to my surprise, it was less than 20,000 yen! Definitely going to come back here again. They even saw us off when we left, which left us with a warm feeling.

Had a dinner party with 8 friends. We opted for the all-you-can-drink course with a set price, and we were all very satisfied with the portion size, taste, and hospitality!

We had a great time enjoying a wide selection of awamori and Okinawan cuisine in a cozy atmosphere that felt like inviting friends over to our living room.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. It seems like a place where you can spend a relaxing time. Not recommended for people who dislike smoking or a cluttered feeling. The photo is only one, but the taco rice I ate on another day was also delicious.

I stopped by casually. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed typical Okinawan dishes like Soki soba, Goya champuru, sea grapes, and Mimigar without any unnecessary twists. It's the kind of Okinawan cuisine you crave when living in Tokyo and wanting a taste of Okinawa.

I came back again today because I had so much fun when I came with my friends yesterday. Today, I came to enjoy just the alcohol at the dining bar's bar section! I thought the variety of alcohol was a bit limited, but I just told the bartender to make something random for me as usual. They asked about my preferences and mood, and made me a "Melon Cream Soda" haha. It really tasted like melon cream soda, was easy to drink, and I think it will get me drunk ⭐️ It wasn't too sweet, refreshing, and easy to drink! I had a second drink of the classic lemon sour, and went home feeling a bit tipsy. The conversation was interesting, and it seems like we'll get along well. ^ ^

The hospitality and the delicious food, comparable to a snack bar, gave a good sense of value.
