I visited the experimental store of Royal HD that utilizes "tempura ✕ web3 ✕ AI" by chance near the hotel and was curious after researching it. On a Friday night when everywhere else was crowded, this place was empty and I honestly wondered if it was okay. Orders were all done through tablets, which I personally found very convenient, but it might be difficult for older age groups to get used to. As for the taste, it was honestly very delicious. They pay attention to the ingredients, and most importantly, it was nice to eat freshly fried tempura. It's strange how it's not crowded. Maybe the location is bad? Or perhaps it still lacks recognition.

I used it for lunch. The atmosphere was clean, and it was interesting to be able to see the tempura being fried in real time! The tempura bowl with grated yam was crispy and the grated yam was delicious and had a nice texture. However, because it was served on a plate in a stylish way, the tempura bowl with grated yam was unexpectedly difficult to eat. Perhaps it was because they were pursuing something new, but in that aspect, the traditional bowl would have been better. They have interesting initiatives such as selling bottles electronically managed, so I would like to enjoy tempura as a single item with alcohol for dinner.

I visited around noon on a weekday with no other customers. There were two lunch options available, and I ordered the chicken tempura rice bowl using a tablet. It arrived a few minutes later with the rice and tempura on a plate, which made it a bit difficult to eat. I think it would be better if it was served in a bowl. The tempura included shiso leaf, shrimp, egg, and chicken, but I would have been more satisfied if there was also a vegetable tempura option. It felt a bit lacking overall. My impression is that this might be an experimental restaurant. They also have a self-service payment system in place. They will need to make some improvements to avoid difficulties in the future.

It seems like a newly opened restaurant. The menu offers only three courses and a la carte options at the counter, with orders taken through a touch panel. It's a casual place with a lackluster atmosphere. The menu has very few vegetable options, only about four. Overall, it felt a bit overpriced and the taste was not like that of a high-end restaurant. I probably won't go back. Thank you for the meal.

[TEN labo Shrimp Tempura Rice Bowl] It was like a luxurious version of the shrimp tempura rice bowl at Tenya. As shown in the photo, it had grated yam on top. The flavor was plum-infused and delicious. It's quite filling with just one dish. It might be too much for those with small appetites, so I recommend getting less rice. The restaurant has counter seating only, with tablet ordering and self-service payment, making it suitable for solo diners.

On the 6th day of opening at 1:00 PM, I visited a restaurant located 1-2 minutes walk from Kinshicho Station. Despite the convenient location, the place was empty, which made me worried about its future. The restaurant seemed to have opened in a hurry, with rough designs for NFTs and community management, resulting in a lack of promotion. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try! Membership registration and acquiring NFTs are not mandatory for placing orders, so those who find it troublesome can still make purchases without registering. I signed up for membership. Customers receive 1 token for every 100 yen spent, but the benefits and utilities of owning these tokens are unclear, leaving room for anticipation. I ordered the Ebi Tempura and Tororo. The process of frying the tempura is live-streamed on a large screen inside the restaurant, adding to the enjoyable experience (although there are no announcements, so one might not notice it normally). The freshly fried tempura, Tororo, and dipping sauce were delicious - there's no way they could taste bad! It's no surprise, given that the restaurant is affiliated with Tenya, the parent company of Tempura Tendon Tenya.

I visited a tempura restaurant that operates Royal Host and Tenya, with the concept of "Tempura ✕ web3 ✕ AI" by the Royal Group. I went on the first day of their lunch service. The concept may be a bit complicated, so please refer to the press release from the company below for more information. When you sit at the counter, you need to register as a member in order to place an order. After finishing your meal and paying, you earn tokens. For lunch, they only offer four types of tempura rice bowls: regular tempura and chicken tempura, each with or without grated yam. The combination of tempura and grated yam is interesting. The presentation is also unique, served on a flat plate instead of in a bowl. So, it might be called plate tempura instead of tempura rice bowl. Since it was the first day, the operation was not smooth, and the drinks took a while to arrive... but I believe the Royal Group will improve on this. The quality of the tempura rice bowl was excellent, as expected from a group that specializes in tempura dishes. Since it's not served in a bowl, having grated yam on top makes it easier to eat with a spoon. It would be nice if they also provided extra tempura sauce on the table, like Tenya. The payment process involves pressing "payment" on a tablet and then scanning a QR code at the entrance for payment using your preferred method. While there were some challenges, it seems like there is potential for improvement. Overall, it was a good experience!

There was a new tempura restaurant that opened in the back alley near the south exit of Kinshicho Station. The place was almost full, with mostly people who seemed to be related to the restaurant. The counter was bright and clean, but ordering through the touch panel at the counter was a bit confusing. The menu had two options: shrimp tempura bowl and chicken tempura bowl, both served with grated yam on rice. I ordered the shrimp tempura bowl and after a few minutes, it arrived on a large plate instead of a bowl. The presentation was nice, but the grated yam on rice was difficult to eat. I only noticed the spoon hidden under the chopstick holder when I finished eating. The dish included two shrimp tempura, large pieces of conger eel, egg, and vegetables tempura. The taste was good, especially the grated yam with a hint of shiso flavor. However, the overall combination with the tempura was not clear. It seemed like there was room for improvement in various aspects.

The tempura in the course was good, but the mini tempura rice bowl at the end was disappointing as the tempura was soggy and the rice was bad.
