I stopped by while I was out. Everyone loves Tenya, and I love it too. It's the best place that offers tempura at affordable prices for the common people. The staff kept recommending the early summer tendon, but I ignored them and chose the All-Star tendon instead. The All-Star tendon is the best. Especially the scallop star and shiitake mushroom star, they are unusually delicious and unique compared to a regular tendon. The true star, the shrimp, is also amazing. Thank you for the meal.

When you want something quick to eat, without hesitation I recommend the classic tendon for 560 yen. I think this is the most delicious option. The toppings are shrimp, smelt, and squid, along with green beans and pumpkin. This combination provides a delicious bowl with great value. The tendon at Tenya is tasty with fresh toppings, just the right size, and fried to a light and fluffy texture. The tempura sauce is sweet but not too heavy or sticky. The rice is cooked perfectly. In my opinion, this place has become a great choice not only for fast food but also for lunch. Maybe it's just this restaurant?

The staff didn't greet me even though they noticed me coming in. They must be busy. So, I just sat at an empty table. Soon, some tea was brought to me. I ordered the recommended All-Star Tempura Bowl + Small Soba Set for 920 yen. It includes shrimp, squid, scallop, lotus root, green beans, and mushrooms. The All-Star Tempura Bowl alone costs 690 yen. It's quite cheap. When the set arrived, it looked a bit different from the picture, but it was okay. The rice portion seemed a bit small to me. The tempura batter was just the right thickness and not too heavy, which I liked. For those who find the sauce too thin, there's extra sauce on the table, which is convenient. You can also add extra toppings to the tempura if you want to make it more luxurious. I wish the soba noodles were a bit better though.

I used a ¥50 discount coupon from the Tenya website, so the price was reduced from ¥800 to ¥750. It was a bit cheap of me, huh? I hope it didn't get soggy on the train ride back. The tempura bowl had cherry shrimp tempura, mackerel, bamboo shoots, lotus root, green beans, and one shrimp per person. It reminded me of the tempura bowl my mom used to make for me in high school. But everything was crowded due to the New Year, so I ended up getting the All-Star Tempura Soba for 980 yen at Tenya on the first floor of Termini 2. Even though I had eaten soba on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, for some reason I always end up craving Tenya's soba. The All-Star includes shrimp, squid, octopus, scallops, mushrooms, green beans, and seaweed tempura. The tempura sauce was a bit lacking, so I struggled a bit towards the end. ^_^)

I came to Yodobashi Camera in Kinshicho for shopping and had the New All-Star Tendon for lunch at Tenya for 670 yen (with less rice). The bowl was filled with shrimp, squid, scallops, shiitake mushrooms, pumpkin, and okra, but in reality, it was an All-Star limp tempura bowl. I used to enjoy it a few months ago, but recently, maybe because I started using Tabelog (a food review app), I've become more of a gourmet? and didn't find it delicious. I've also realized recently that there are some not-so-tasty shops that charge a decent amount of money at other tempura and soba restaurants. Tenya is more affordable compared to those shops, so I can forgive them.

Kinshicho Station North Exit. Located inside the station building so you won't get wet even in the rain. Despite being a chain restaurant, you can easily enjoy delicious tempura here. Being close to the station, it's always crowded with office workers and housewives during lunchtime. On this day, I decided to have a light tempura meal and a drink in the afternoon! I couldn't decide between the tempura set meal and tempura rice bowl... ended up choosing the tempura rice bowl. I don't usually eat tempura rice bowls. The sauce for tempura rice bowls at most places is too sweet for me, but I like the tempura rice bowl sauce at Tenya because it's not too sweet. The tempura rice bowl had shrimp, white fish, and vegetables, including pumpkin which I usually don't like, but I finished it all. However, the taste of the draft beer was a bit disappointing.

I want to eat tempura. I want to drink beer. So I came here for a casual drink. I ordered the Hana-midoritori tendon with a warm egg on top. And I ordered a beer. There is a manga that I like, with a career woman who enjoys drinking. I think the model for the tendon bowl she visits is likely Tenya. Unconsciously, I ended up ordering the same warm egg topping as the main character. The tendon bowl, where you break the warm egg, was delicious, and the beer I drank while enjoying the pickles was also good.

I chose the set because it was a good deal. The tempura included shrimp, simmered conger eel, megochi fish, large squid, seaweed, and green beans. The simmered conger eel was delicious. It was my first time trying soba from Tenya. Since there is a soba shop right in front of this store, I think it would be better to eat there.) - Boiled spinach (100 yen. However, the restaurant was already full, and I had to wait about 10 minutes at the counter. I always feel like the waiting time is longer when I come because I want to eat something. Finally, I was seated and ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura bowl. I thought about getting just the shrimp tempura bowl, but vegetables are essential for me. I started with the hot and crispy shrimp, which was delicious with a sweet taste. My wish came true, and I was satisfied with the shrimp tempura.
