Compared to the past, it seems like there are a lot more lunch options in Marunouchi now, but there are also many mediocre restaurants that are overpriced and not very tasty. Unlike in the past when I used to try out random restaurants one after another, it's not possible to do that here. In areas like Marunouchi and Nihonbashi, there are trendy restaurants that may not offer great value for money. However, I am starting to think that chain restaurants might be a good option in such areas. Chain restaurants may have the same prices and taste regardless of the location, making them convenient. Today, I visited "Toriryo Shoten" near Tokyo International Forum. They offer a standard menu of fried chicken, chicken cutlet, chicken soba, and oyakodon. The interior of the restaurant has a retro vibe, but the ordering system is modern with tablets. I ordered the tartar sauce fried chicken set, which was tasty but a bit bland for my taste. Adding soy sauce made it more enjoyable. Overall, the lunch was decent for the price. However, I probably wouldn't choose this restaurant for drinking at night, even though they specialize in chicken wings.

It's more like Tokyo Station than Yurakucho. Visited around 12:15 with about 90% of customers already there. Afterwards, more and more people came in, and the restaurant was full during lunchtime. I actually wanted to eat Dodomeshi, but for some reason they didn't have it, so I ordered the Tartar Sauce Chicken Cutlet set meal. When it came out, I was surprised. The chicken cutlet was huge! The tartar sauce was served in a separate dish, and there was plenty of egg, which was delicious, but it wasn't enough for the chicken cutlet. It would have been nice to have sauce on the table for flavor variation. Anyway, because the chicken was so big, getting extra rice is a must. It was delicious, so I would definitely go back.

At 12:20 on a regular day, I was wandering around trying to decide where to have lunch when I was drawn in by the smell of fried chicken. Maybe because it's the end of the year, but surprisingly I was able to get a seat easily for the fried chicken lunch, which would normally be packed. Oh, I remember coming here 5 years ago. Some things never change, like my taste. I placed my order using the tablet on the table, which was efficient. I ordered the salted fried chicken lunch. It came with six big pieces of juicy fried chicken and was very filling and delicious. My thoughts are the same as they were 5 years ago.

Arrived around 12 o'clock on Sunday. About 40% full. Asked if I wanted to have lunch or drink. Since I was working, I chose the set meal. I had the chicken and egg TKG set with chicken soba, which cost 968 yen including tax. I had ramen, which was very filling. There are plenty of lunch menu options with generous portions, and I think it's a good deal for the price in Yurakucho.

Visited around 8 PM on a regular day and found the place packed and lively. Had highball and hoppy as drinks, and ordered a few dishes for snacks. The highball was a bit small, and the food was not too many except for the tamagoyaki. Located right in the middle of Marunouchi, the cost performance is good, but still a bit on the expensive side.

Today, I had some errands to run in Marunouchi and decided to have lunch there. I randomly chose a restaurant that seemed popular for its generous portion sizes. I ordered the "Secret Salt Fried Chicken Set Meal for 759 yen," which I thought would be the smallest option. When it was served, I was surprised by the amount of food! There were six pieces of fried chicken, and even though the rice portion was supposed to be large (which I didn't request), it was even more than expected. The fried chicken was soft, juicy, and delicious, but the portion was so big that I ended up leaving half of the rice uneaten. I am completely full now, so I don't think I'll need dinner tonight. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Today, after a meeting in Otemachi, I went to Yurakucho to renew my passport. Then, since it was lunchtime, I had lunch with the executives of our company. I started with a glass of draft beer, and then we decided to share the Double Chicken Set and Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl. The Double Chicken Set was huge, with two chicken cutlets and four pieces of fried chicken. The chicken and egg rice bowl was also very big. The meat was tender and juicy, as expected from a chicken specialty restaurant. I couldn't help but order another glass of beer. The cost performance was excellent, and the service from the waitress was very good. I am very satisfied today.

I had work at the International Forum on this day. It started early in the morning and ended after 3 pm. It was still bright outside, just like daytime!!! So, I invited a colleague and we decided to go to Toriyoshi Shoten that we found under the bridge. We started with a toast with beer! "Ah~ I live for days like this," I said, feeling a bit like an old man. We ordered using a touch panel, which is becoming more common even at major restaurants. We had mozuku vinegar as an appetizer. The refreshing acidity really whet our appetites. We also had chicken wings, chicken tataki, and avocado and tomato salad. The chicken wings were delicious. The chicken tataki, mixed with plenty of egg yolk and green onions, was exquisite. The creamy yolk, tender chicken, and crispy green onions were a perfect combination. We made a good choice. Thank you for the meal. We'll definitely come back!

After watching a stage performance, I wandered around Yurakucho and ended up visiting a fairly large restaurant. It seemed crowded with people waiting, but I was told a table would be available soon so I decided to go in. I ordered a draft beer and then looked at the menu. I ordered the "drooling chicken" (588 yen), addictive chicken (699 yen), and grilled chicken with leeks (799 yen). The drooling chicken arrived within 1 minute of ordering. It was that kind of place haha. After the beer, I thought about getting Hoppy but it was expensive, so I went with a highball. The addictive chicken was delicious, but it felt like I had seen it somewhere before. The grilled chicken with leeks was not tasty haha. The restaurant is convenient being open 24 hours, so I guess you can't expect too much variety. I don't think I'll be going back again haha.

I was planning on just having one beer to pass the time, but the fried chicken was delicious so I ended up staying for 2 hours. The beer was Kirin.

There are many drinking establishments, but this one happened to have an empty seat so I went in. It was full by 8 PM on a Friday, but the menu was limited and I couldn't quite figure out what their specialty was. However, the drinks were served quickly, which was good.

I ordered the W Katsu set meal. It was too much food (lol). I ate too much...
