It was around 3:30 PM on a regular day when I visited this restaurant in Yurakucho station. It is located in a great location and one of the few places where smoking is allowed. It was crowded. Smoking is allowed with electronic cigarettes at the table, while paper cigarettes are only allowed in designated booths. The system is similar to other stores. I enjoyed a delicious iced cocoa for 950 yen.

It was my first time visiting Renoir in decades! The café had a nostalgic Showa era vibe, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The coffee was surprisingly well-balanced with bitterness and acidity, and tasted delicious. After finishing my coffee, they brought out tea just like they used to do in the past. I think it used to be kelp tea back then, but this time it was Japanese tea.

It's been a while since I visited Renoir. I didn't realize there was one on the 2nd floor of a building in front of Yurakucho Station. Since it was before noon, I wanted to get a cake set, but they didn't have any set menus. The total for individual items was expensive! I ended up getting a milk crepe (490 yen tax included) and an Americano (710 yen). The total came to 1200 yen, which is pricey! Well, it's in front of the station, so maybe it's unavoidable. The taste was okay. The milk crepe was large and had a solid texture, and the sweetness was good. The Americano was strong. I probably wouldn't have it if it wasn't in front of the station.

"Kisashitsu Renoir Yurakucho Ekimae Store" is a shop located right in front of Yurakucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line. It is a very convenient location, right in front of Yurakucho. The prices for coffee at Kisashitsu Renoir are a bit on the higher side, which may make you hesitate to enter, but the spacious and luxurious atmosphere makes it a great place for relaxing or organizing documents. The interior of the store is chic and lovely. The system at Kisashitsu Renoir involves ordering a drink first (ordering a drink is mandatory). The drink prices include a "seating fee," so it can be a bit pricey. Some of the main drinks and prices at Kisashitsu Renoir are: Viennese Coffee (Hot) 720 yen, Viennese Coffee (Iced) 750 yen, Renoir Blend 580 yen, Drip Iced Coffee 610 yen, Cold Brew Iced Coffee 630 yen, Coffee Float 740 yen, etc. Refills of coffee are available for an additional 200 yen. I ordered the Viennese Coffee (Hot) for 720 yen, which was delicious with a creamy topping enhancing the rich flavor of the coffee. The "Viennese" in Viennese Coffee comes from Vienna, the capital of Austria with a deep cafe culture history. Kisashitsu Renoir has a calm atmosphere and delicious drinks, making it highly recommended.

I also enjoy having a leisurely breakfast at a café sometimes. I had breakfast at a café called "Kissaten Room L'Oréal Yurakucho Station Front Store" near JR Yurakucho Station. I happened to see it on a TV show before, and it seems like at "Kissaten Room L'Oréal," you pay for the atmosphere you're in. Because of that, the drinks are generally more expensive compared to other café chains. The cost performance is not great. This time, I ordered something called "L'Oréal Blend" coffee, which costs 680 yen including tax. Even this is on the cheaper side among the drink options. It's quite pricey. When you order a drink, you can also add a morning set for an additional 60 yen. That's what I was actually aiming for. The morning set includes toast, boiled egg, and simple soup. The toast is sliced diagonally and quite thick. It's quite filling. The "L'Oréal Blend" coffee has a better aroma and taste compared to store-bought coffee. However, at this price, I wouldn't want to drink it too often.

I had a light breakfast, sitting at a table in the back. The table was wiped down but still a bit wet, so I used the provided hand towel to dry it off. I ordered an iced coffee and honey French toast as a set, but ended up paying separately, resulting in a loss of 200 yen.

A café in front of Yurakucho Station. There are various cafés nearby, but this café is very convenient for working on a PC with outlets and Wi-Fi available. Most seats have outlets nearby, making it very convenient. The drinks are a bit pricey, but they provide water, towels, and even tea at the end. It's a very cozy café.

For my father, Tokyo sightseeing revolves around Renoir and smoking. Despite his painful legs, he drags himself from the Imperial Palace to the Renoir in Yurakucho to enjoy coffee and cigarettes. I find myself surrounded by smoke, but my father is delighted with his coffee, sandwich, and cigarettes.

Familiar Renoir. I often use it to adjust the time. Depending on how hungry I am, I may also have my favorite apple pie. Unlike the custard, sponge, and raisin apple pies found in other cafes, which are not to my taste, this apple pie has a proper pie crust. No sponge to cover up anything. The crispy texture of the apples is enjoyable, and the combination of acidity, sweetness, and the buttery richness of the pie crust is recommended. When I want to stay longer, I use a trick of ordering a large Americano, as the cups are big. The retro and calm atmosphere attracts quite a few interesting customers, making it a unique cafe. The morning set includes a ham and cheese focaccia sandwich, boiled egg, and soup for 120 yen, with a blend coffee for 610 yen. It adds up to a decent price, but the appeal is being able to sit down leisurely and adjust the time. Yurakucho on weekends in the morning is quiet, making it feel like a different place from weekdays. Let's spend a little time here before moving on.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The sandwich is the best!

It's calming - it's old-fashioned! Why is it calming? Because of the fluffy velour-like sofa. The seats are large and comfortable. It may not be suitable for young people. The customers are mostly elderly and salarymen.

The honey toast was delicious. The bread had a nice crispy texture, the honey added a gentle sweetness, and the cream cheese provided a perfect touch of acidity. The coffee was also enjoyable, with a good balance of bitterness and acidity. They even brought us warm tea as a service, which made me think this is a great place.
