I visited the restaurant on a Sunday around 3pm because I was craving okonomiyaki. The interior was clean and the food was delicious. I would like to go back when I crave okonomiyaki again. Smoking is allowed. They serve Kansai-style okonomiyaki. The tables are clean and there is a sense of cleanliness. The food is tasty. You can enjoy alcohol during the day, and they have local beer. The service was also good. They had seasonal recommendations. I ordered local beer, plum wine, okonomiyaki, tofu salad, coarse-ground wiener, and maguro yamakake.

- Negi-kake Tsukimi Butayaki (Grilled pork with green onions on top of it)
- Cheese Mentaiko Mille-Feuille Yaki (Grilled mille-feuille with cheese and spicy cod roe)
- Seafood Salt Butter Monja (Savory pancake with seafood, salt, and butter)
Total: 4,010 yen
Visited on a Sunday for lunch around noon. Had to wait for 4-5 groups ahead of us. Both okonomiyaki dishes were very delicious. It's satisfying to enjoy dishes made with reasonably priced ingredients at chain restaurants like this.

I received a set of three kinds of cheese monjayaki and seafood okonomiyaki! The cheese is always delicious. The monja and okonomi were a bit difficult to cook (didn't solidify), more like monjayaki than okonomiyaki. Maybe it's because there's not enough flour?

On this day, I visited "Ikebukuro Pastakan" on the B1F of Sunshine City. There was a waitlist at the entrance, with 3 groups ahead of us. We waited for just under 10 minutes before entering. The inside of the restaurant was crowded and the staff seemed to be quite busy, but they were handling everything efficiently. I ordered the Mega Jim Beam Highball, while my wife had the Perfect Suntory Beer.
- Cheese Mentaiko Mille-Feuille Yaki: It was fun to make the mille-feuille and bake it yourself. The okonomiyaki, steamed slowly, was fluffy and delicious with the rich flavor of mentaiko, cheese, and the chewy texture of mochi.
- Pork Kimchi Monja: We added cheese and soba as toppings. The dish had plenty of pork, full of umami, and the crunchy kimchi was delicious.
- Negi Kake Tsukimi no Butayaki: This okonomiyaki had pork balls topped with onsen egg and plenty of green onions. It was superb when sprinkled with bonito flakes. With all these dishes, the total cost was around 5,000 yen, which is quite affordable. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited Sunshine City, I tried this place! It was located right inside the Sunshine building! I often eat monjayaki at various shops, but this place had a nostalgic taste more like a snack than a meal!

Mixed modern yaki (1480), boasting beef tendon stew (780), and when you order okonomiyaki, the staff will cook it for you♪ It's been a while since I had beef tendon like this, and I was so surprised by how delicious it was♡ haha It had a really unpleasant greasiness and smell, and it was so chewy that I couldn't bite through it forever.. And the meat part was dry. Hmm, surprising♡ The female staff was nice, but the male staff in the hall was just incredibly careless(> <)(> <)! We waited quite a bit at the entrance, made eye contact with the staff, but there was no "welcome" or "please wait a moment," just a style of being left alone☆ During the meal, the cleanup and setting at the next table were like bam!! bang!! boom!!.. And what's more! When doing that cleanup, they kept hitting my husband's chair..(´・ω・`) Oh, of course, the male staff just ignored it and passed through. haha The okonomiyaki was the best, fluffy and creamy style♪

It was cool, so I had a hot teppanyaki lunch. The menu offered a style where you cook the meat yourself, so I thought the pork would be served already cooked, but it turned out you had to mix the ingredients yourself (lol). When I looked confused, the waiter said I could ask them to cook it for me. Of course, I asked for their help. I cooked the pork for 4 minutes on each side, then steamed it for another 4 minutes. Waiting for a total of 8 minutes for lunch was tough for a salaryman. When it was done cooking, I topped the pork with sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and seaweed, and enjoyed the hot meal. The sauce was a bit sweet. The steamed cooking style made the surface moist, which I might actually like. It might be too hot to go back there as the weather warms up, but I'll keep it in mind.

I used it on my way back from shopping in Ikebukuro. I used it on a Sunday afternoon, but it was somewhat crowded. The interior of the store mainly consists of box seats like a family restaurant, and this time I was guided to a box seat near the entrance. I ordered the Modanyaki and Monja that I wanted to eat. I toasted with a beer! It's a Premium Malt. The Modanyaki seems to be finished by dropping the lid, which is the way this shop does it, and it was delicious. The dough was fluffy and tasty. It was full of ingredients, and the crunchy texture of the vegetables was alive. The sweet sauce went very well with it. The Monja did not have a particularly distinctive taste. It felt like a safe Monja. I ate quickly, drank quickly, and left quickly because I had plans afterwards. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited the famous okonomiyaki restaurant Pasutakan in Ikebukuro. I ordered seafood okonomiyaki and oysters, and they were delicious when cooked on the hot plate. The oysters were especially thick and rich in flavor. The prices are also reasonable, so I recommend it to those living near Ikebukuro for a repeat visit.

At the entrance of Sunshine City, take the small path on the right and enter the Godiva chocolate store. Turn right and you will find a chain store for okonomiyaki. I have been here a few times in the past with a large group, but I'm not sure if it's the same exact store. The staff greeted me with a warm smile and hand sanitizer, and then led me to a reserved table at the corner for two. They explained the Go To Eat campaign and asked for an order of over 2000 yen. The menu was already set on the table for me to check. I ordered oyster okonomiyaki and oyster butter grilled, along with a jumbo size of oolong tea. The staff offered to cook the okonomiyaki for me, and I agreed. The oysters were placed on the hot plate first, covered with the okonomiyaki ingredients, and then cooked with a glass lid. Meanwhile, the oysters for the butter grilled dish were cooked separately. The oysters were large and delicious. The okonomiyaki had a nice texture and flavor, although the oysters were not very noticeable. The oolong tea was refreshing. Overall, the oyster dishes were a good deal. Thank you for the meal! Total cost: oyster okonomiyaki, oyster butter grilled x 4, jumbo oolong tea.

I wonder how many years it has been. It feels like ages ago when my wife and I used to come on dates here when we were young haha. Today, we came as a family for the first time. It must have been decades since we last visited this place. It's still the same as before. We had pork okonomiyaki, modern okonomiyaki, and beer... the kids were so happy. It's still light and easy to eat, just like before. On our way out, they even gave a yo-yo to the kids. They really go above and beyond with their service for children. Keep up the good work, don't let COVID defeat you.

It was around 3 PM on a weekday. The restaurant was moderately busy with customers. The service was not very good, as I had to wait at the entrance for a moment and they didn't bring water until I asked. The service is generally lacking. Last time, there was a male staff member who seemed like the manager and the service was much better, so it was disappointing this time. The taste was not bad, but it wasn't exceptionally delicious either, so I should have just stuck with the classic pork okonomiyaki.

Board! Pork okonomiyaki 1058 yen It was quite empty probably because it was past 3 PM on a weekday. When I ordered, I was asked, "Would you like us to cook it for you?" but I decided to cook it myself. The cabbage was finely chopped, so I crushed it while mixing it at first. There were easy-to-understand instructions on how to cook at each table, so I used the hourglass + lid and cooked as instructed. As a result, the inside was fluffy. Well, fluffy doesn't necessarily mean delicious. The taste was quite ordinary. There were a few other menu items that caught my eye, so I think I'll go back and try them again.

They greeted us warmly, took care to avoid burns, and were attentive to our child. It was rare for an okonomiyaki restaurant to have Genghis Khan, which made our lamb-loving child very happy. The scallop butter sauté was also delicious. Next time, we want to try the grilled squid.

This is a self-cook style restaurant. The okonomiyaki has less flour and includes grated yam, so the finished dough is fluffy. The monjayaki is also delicious. I was too busy cooking and eager to eat the finished dish right away, so I forgot to take photos.

The staff helped with the grilling, providing friendly and polite service. The sauce was quite sweet, getting a bit too cloying towards the end. The Shirasu tofu was large and filling. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant around 6 pm without having to wait in line. I ordered both okonomiyaki and monjayaki. If you ask the staff, they will help you cook the okonomiyaki. Since it's okonomiyaki, it should be delicious unless you make a big mistake. The prices are reasonable, and you can get even more discounts by using coupons.

I entered because it was near the entrance of Sunshine! The shop has a nostalgic house-like atmosphere that is calming! The monjayaki and okonomiyaki are reliably nostalgic in taste! It seems like they also celebrate birthdays! The atmosphere was nice, so I want to go again!
