I went to Nankaze restaurant with a friend who wanted to eat Doroyaki, and we ended up ordering the "Okonomiyaki Mountain Cheese-covered" dish, which was like a huge hamburger with three layers of okonomiyaki stacked on top. The performance of them pouring cheese on it was entertaining. The dish was mainly about the cheese, which made cheese lovers very happy. It was creamy and surprisingly not heavy, disappearing quickly. Overall, the unique and classic dishes at Nankaze are all delicious and you can feel confident trying anything on the menu.

Ikebukuro, after drinking, I felt like eating something powdery, so I went to Nanpoo Ikebukuro Station front store! It's convenient and close to the station! However, we arrived just in time for the last order! We quickly placed our order. We ordered Mix Tam, Mentaiko Mochi Cheese Monja plus Baby Star Ramen, and the recommended Doro-yaki. There were many other options, but since we arrived just in time for the last order, we could only order these. It was too much food for two people, even though it was supposed to be our second round of drinks. By the way, I'm good at making Monja-yaki! I used to work part-time at a Monja-yaki restaurant, so unnecessary information bomb starts. As expected, Mentaiko Mochi Cheese and Baby Star Ramen were delicious. It was just the right amount, with plenty of cabbage. Next was Mix Tam. The staff cooked it for us and placed it on the hot plate. Mix Tam did not disappoint! Okonomiyaki really fills you up! Next was the first challenge!! Doro-yaki! The inside was gooey and the outside was crispy, I'm not sure why but it was delicious and seemed addictive. The drink was the usual Lemon Sour. There were various games like Chinchirorin. They even had all-you-can-eat meal plans and all-you-can-drink plans. Next time, I want to go when it's not the last order time. Please make sure to check the last order time before going haha. It was lively inside the restaurant, and we had a fun and enjoyable time. I want to go there again. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to eat okonomiyaki, so I visited this place! When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that it was full of college students, but the music playing was oldies! The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable for us women in our late twenties. We also got to try Himeji's specialty "doroyaki" and other new Kansai dishes. I would love to visit again in the future! ^ ^

It's just a short walk from Ikebukuro Station. We made a reservation for 8 people for okonomiyaki. It seems to be a famous shop in Kansai. They cook and serve the okonomiyaki. They also have monjayaki and other unique options, which was great. The prices are not too high. Inside the restaurant, it's hot because of the teppan grill, so please be careful.

Last April, I hired a new employee to take on a specific role. However, at the beginning of the new year, I had to assign them a different task. When they messaged me on Saturday saying they wanted to talk, I knew what it was about. I was disappointed because they had just gotten used to their previous role and were ready to do their best. We had discussed this change multiple times before, but it still came as a blow. While eating monjayaki and okonomiyaki, I explained to them that they were needed for a new task and listened to their thoughts as we spent time together.

Monja is very delicious. The seating is spacious, and the teppan is large, making it easy to enjoy monja-yaki while sipping on drinks! You can also try interesting dishes like Akashiyaki and Doro-yaki, which can only be found here in Kanto. I recommend trying the refreshing fruit sour cocktails!

We went to a silver all-you-can-eat restaurant! The menu was so extensive that we couldn't finish in 120 minutes, but the two of us girls did our best! It was fun to cook our own food, and the taste was delicious! It was a Saturday, so we were pressured by the staff to finish in 2 hours, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Maybe it would be better on a weekday?

I finally got to visit a restaurant that was featured on a TV show I used to watch, but could never go because of the long lines and fully booked reservations on weekends! I was able to fulfill my wish and went there at last. First, I ordered the Buta-tama (pork and egg), the popular Doro-yaki with tendon, Suji-pon, and grated yam with wasabi. The Doro-yaki, which you dip in broth like Akashiyaki, was incredibly delicious! The teppan octopus balls were also quite tasty. I definitely want to come back again!

I visited the Nankaze restaurant in Himeji, which specializes in savory pancakes. This was my first time at this restaurant, but I have tried their savory pancakes at another branch before. I went for lunch on a holiday and ordered the mixed savory pancake, which cost 1320 yen. The mixed pancake contained pork, shrimp, and squid. The pancakes are cooked in the kitchen, so I couldn't see the cooking process. The pancakes are served hot and you dip them in a flavorful broth, similar to okonomiyaki. The inside of the pancake is gooey, so you eat it with a spoon. The pancake itself is tasty and has a nice hint of the broth. I also tried dipping it in green onion soy sauce and sauce, but the broth was the best. I also tried making my own monjayaki with corn, green onion, sakura shrimp, and spicy cod roe, which cost 1188 yen. Monjayaki is a DIY dish where you cook it yourself. The cabbage was surprisingly large, so I had to chop it finely with a spatula. The broth was delicious and the monjayaki turned out to be very tasty. The spicy cod roe added a nice kick and the sakura shrimp gave it a good flavor.

I always go for all-you-can-eat, but this time I tried ordering a la carte. I had ikasumi monja, do negi suji konne, do negi suji, sakura ebi, buta cheese tonpei yaki, okonomiyaki yamaimo mix. I drank one drink per person and the total came to around 6200 yen. The do negi suji konne with negi and soy sauce was delicious. I sometimes crave for doyaki, so I end up coming here. I wish they would open another store in Tokyo.

I saw this restaurant on a TV show and finally got to visit. Most of the menu items are around 1000 yen, so you can get pretty full. It seemed like many people around me were going for the all-you-can-eat options. The okonomiyaki had a slightly soft texture, and the doroyaki was nice with a light broth.

Doroyaki and takoyaki look the same, haha. Takoyaki comes in Osaka style and Akashi style, with Akashi style having a dashi broth. Osaka takoyaki is just topped with sauce, not round like this shape. The broth has a strong bonito flavor, giving it a smooth texture that doesn't feel heavy. However, the service was terrible - slow when entering, unfriendly afterwards, and slow at checkout. It seems like the operational level is very low, not personalized, but rather due to the management company's poor education level. #Ikebukuro #Okonomiyaki #Doroyaki #Nanpuu

This is a store located a short walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. I felt like eating okonomiyaki and monjayaki after a long time, so I entered this store, which was open early. This time, I ordered pork okonomiyaki, baby star monjayaki, and beer. This store has a system where you can order from a tablet at your table. Recently, there are more and more stores like this. The pork okonomiyaki had a decent volume for the price and was fairly tasty. However, it didn't have any outstanding features, just a typical type of okonomiyaki. Also, the okonomiyaki is prepared by the staff and placed on the hot plate at your table, rather than you cooking it yourself, which was a bit of a letdown for me, as I was looking forward to cooking it myself. The baby star monjayaki reminded me of the simple monjayaki I used to have at the candy store when I was a child - it had a deliciously crispy texture and a flavor that becomes addictive. I really enjoy this kind of monjayaki.

【Whispering Wind】Located just a 1-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, this restaurant offers the best value for your money with its popular all-you-can-eat menu✨ And it's the only place in Tokyo where you can try Himeji's specialty dish "doroyaki"‼️ Doroyaki is made by crisply frying the dough like an omelette, then topping it with a spoonful of Japanese-style broth for a new and unique texture. In addition to doroyaki, they also offer okonomiyaki, takoyaki, monjayaki, and other menu items that are sure to liven up any gathering, all at a great value with their all-you-can-eat option‼️

From Himeji's specialty doroyaki to okonomiyaki, takoyaki, monjayaki, and more, the menu is rich and varied‼️ The specialty doroyaki offers an interesting texture - think of it as a giant version of Akashiyaki! It's crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, perfect for dipping in broth. Inside, you'll find ingredients like mentaiko cheese or sujikon. The side menu is also delicious, with items like seseri ponzu and plum soft bone cucumber providing a refreshing contrast and making for a perfect break from the flour-based dishes✨ And the best part? The all-you-can-eat menu is only ¥2000‼️ Definitely worth a try✨

I tried the all-you-can-eat okonomiyaki and doroyaki at "Nanpu" because I love flour-based dishes✨ @nanpu_ekimae This time I tried doroyaki for the first time! Have you guys tried it before? It's like a fluffy omelette made with okonomiyaki batter, and it's served with a gentle dashi broth✨ When you dip it in the broth, it crumbles so softly and melts in your mouth, it's amazingly delicious. I'm hooked... I'm glad I discovered doroyaki (I may be exaggerating 😂) They have a wide variety of menu items such as okonomiyaki, monjayaki, and teppanyaki, so I was very satisfied✨ Everyone should definitely try the all-you-can-eat flour-based dishes to your heart's content✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼ Nanpu Ikebukuro Station Front Store 2-27-5 Minami Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo 4F 050-5890-9894 [Weekdays] 16:00-23:00 (L.O 22:00) [Sat/Sun/Holidays] 12:00-15:30 (L.O 14:30) 17:00-23:00 (L.O 22:00) Open on Sundays https://nanpuu-ikebukuro-ekimae.com/✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼I ate "okonomiyaki". Hello everyone. It's the mischievous ZMA who threw takoyaki at the person I had an argument with. Today, I will introduce a perfect restaurant for the hot summer season. We visited "Nanpū Ikebukuro Ekimae Store" in Ikebukuro. Nanpū is written as "なんぷう" and pronounced as "nanpū." Originally a popular okonomiyaki restaurant in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, known for their specialty "doroyaki," they have expanded to Tokyo. Doroyaki... I wonder what kind of dish that is. Today, I brought along the manly @touma, my top follower, to try their all-you-can-eat menu. The Silver All-You-Can-Eat Plan for ¥2800 sounds cheap and exciting! We started with appetizers like potato salad and chilled tomatoes to be gentle on our bodies. The classic dishes like Buta Mochi Cheese Tamago and Butatama Okonomiyaki are must-tries. The Butatama Okonomiyaki with cheese and mochi is a visual delight and tastes amazing. The sizzling sound and aroma when you pour the sauce are irresistible. Next, we tried the famous Doroyaki and Modern-yaki. The Doroyaki, born from a customer's request for takoyaki, has become a popular item. It's like a modern version of akashiyaki, but be careful as it's piping hot. The Modern-yaki is also a hit with its creamy texture that appeals to all ages. After enjoying these delicious dishes, the bill came to only ¥2800. It's affordable yet delicious. If you often visit Ikebukuro, why not enjoy some okonomiyaki and drinks to beat the summer heat? Well then, see you later!店舗基本情報☎️Contact: 050-5890-9894Reservation: AvailableAccess: 297m from Ikebukuro Station⏰Business Hours:[Weekdays] 16:00-23:00 (Last Order 22:00)[Weekends] 12:00-15:30 (Last Order 14:30) 17:00-23:00 (Last Order 22:00)Open on Sundays

I went to Ikebukuro because I heard there was a restaurant that serves "doroyaki". The doroyaki was delicious, served with broth for dipping. I also enjoyed the okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and teppanyaki style dishes that were all cooked right in front of us.

Ikebukuro drinking party. I went to this restaurant with my company seniors and their families, as they wanted okonomiyaki. It's located a few minutes walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. It's on the 4th floor of a mixed-use building. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious. It seems to have only table seats. Each table has a hot plate. We were seated at a large table for 5 people. We started with a toast with draft beer. For food, we ordered harami steak, chicken seseri with ponzu sauce, doroyaki, and sauce takoyaki. You cook the chicken seseri with ponzu sauce on the hot plate yourself. It's delicious with the slightly burnt ponzu sauce. The harami steak is served cooked. It's a bit firm, but seasoned with a strong sauce. It goes well with beer too. Doroyaki is like a mix of okonomiyaki and akashiyaki. You dip the fluffy dough in dashi broth. The taste of egg and dashi is like akashiyaki. The sauce takoyaki is takoyaki cooked on the hot plate. It looks like okonomiyaki, but tastes like takoyaki. The spicy sauce is great. We also ordered regular okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and tonpeiyaki. With a wide variety of menu options, it's fun to share and enjoy with a large group. We stayed for about 2 hours and were satisfied with the variety of dishes we tried. There's also an all-you-can-eat option, which could be a good choice depending on the group.

After work, I decided to stop by this restaurant located a short walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. I was in the mood for okonomiyaki and monjayaki, so I entered this restaurant which was open early. I arrived around 4:00 PM, and there was no one else in the restaurant. Is it always like this on weekday evenings? I ordered the pork okonomiyaki, baby star monjayaki, corn butter, and beer. This restaurant has a system where you can order from a tablet at your table, which seems to be a trend these days. The pork okonomiyaki had decent volume for the price and was okay in taste, but nothing outstanding. It felt like a typical okonomiyaki you can find anywhere. The monjayaki was reminiscent of the simple and addictive snack from my childhood, with a crispy texture and savory flavor. I enjoyed it. However, the corn butter was too salty, so I couldn't finish it. As for the service, the staff seemed disinterested, walking around with a blank expression and muttering to themselves, which made the atmosphere less welcoming. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food or the service, so I probably won't be returning. Thank you for the meal.

I used to visit Mr. Nanpu on Sunshine Street about twice a year. In the past, they not only served doroyaki but also okonomiyaki, which was cooked in the kitchen. However, I was disappointed to find out that now customers have to cook their own okonomiyaki if they opt for the all-you-can-eat option. The menu for all-you-can-eat used to be more varied in the past. I really miss the delicious shrimp mayonnaise... I used to go there whenever I had a craving, but I think I might be done with this place now.
