I met a friend at a famous sushi chain restaurant in Shinbashi after a long time. We enjoyed a variety of sushi like sea urchin, salmon roe, tuna, mackerel, scallop, shrimp, herring roe, etc. The prices were reasonable, the food was delicious and satisfying, and we had a great time.

The cost performance is not that great, but the tuna is delicious, especially the fatty tuna belly. However, the quality can vary greatly depending on the day's supply. I believe that a top restaurant should always be delicious no matter when you eat there, so it's disappointing in that sense. I will ask to see the ingredients before ordering next time.

This is perfect for when you want a little snack late at night or to satisfy your hunger. The tuna here is really delicious. I was surprised by the tasteless and textureless anago (conger eel) nanbanzuke (appetizer). Maybe it's made from conger eel that was about to go bad and fried to make nanbanzuke?

In Shinbashi, I felt like eating fish late at night, so I went to a restaurant before midnight, but it was packed. I wonder if everyone is looking for fish haha. I ordered a sashimi assortment, but it seemed like it was just cut for sushi. I guess sashimi is not that great unless it's freshly cut... The tuna was delicious, they seem to really care about quality. The plum and cucumber roll was also tasty. Whenever I go to a sushi restaurant, I always end up ordering it as a last dish.

Sushizanmai Shinbashi SL Hiroba-mae Branch
Location: Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Visit Date: February 11, 2023
Dish: Special Premium Tuna Bowl
Price: 3,190 yen
Located in front of the Shinbashi West Exit SL Square, this sushi restaurant is owned by the president who often appears in the news for bidding high prices for Oma-produced bluefin tuna at the first auction at Tsukiji Market. The sushi here offers authentic flavors at reasonable prices. The tuna bowl includes various cuts of bluefin tuna such as lean, medium fatty, and seared, providing a satisfying experience. I enjoyed the meal thoroughly.

The menu items you order come out very quickly. Especially the drinks are served right away, even if the restaurant is busy, without making you wait for more than a few minutes. There are two ways to order food: through a touch panel menu or by writing on paper and handing it in. The sushi and sashimi are of decent quality, so no issues there. It's a great place to enjoy eating and drinking with colleagues or friends.

At Sushizanmai in Shinbashi, when you open the automatic door at the entrance, you are greeted by a life-size doll of the president of the company. The ordering system has changed from paper order slips to ordering on tablet devices. The sushi is still delicious with generous portions and good value for money. Ordering sushi a la carte on the tablet may lead to ordering too much, or is it just me?

I went to Shinbashi Station and was looking for a delicious lunch while wandering around. After searching various restaurants online, I found one that I wanted to visit, but I hesitated for 20 minutes. Right in front of me was Sushizanmai, which I knew would never disappoint! Moreover, the lunch menu displayed outside looked very appetizing and reasonably priced. I decided to go in and ordered the sashimi set. The sashimi included shrimp, tuna, squid, yellowtail, and salmon, all for around 1000 yen. The sashimi was very fresh and sweet, especially the tuna was exceptionally delicious. I might have never had such tasty tuna before. They also had other options like sushi on the lunch menu, which all looked tempting. Since Tsukiji Market is nearby, seafood dishes in Shinbashi are highly recommended. I would love to visit again.

After leaving the Kyushu cuisine restaurant, we headed to Sushizanmai SL Hiroba branch for a final bite of sushi. I have been to this restaurant a few times, and I like that the interior is spacious and the fish is fresh. However, it was also quite crowded. The green tea highball was deliciously strong! We enjoyed oyster, golden eye snapper, marinated mackerel, tuna roll, negitoro, and spicy tuna roll while continuing our conversation.

Good evening. I am a salaryman from Minato Ward. We have entered the third week of November already. It feels like November just started, but time flies. The weather has been sunny lately, making it hard to decide what to wear. In the middle of September, around 8 pm after work, I felt like having sushi casually on my way home. I went to the back side of SL Square and the place was lively on a Friday night, with almost every seat taken. I was alone, so I ended up sitting at a small table in the corner. Overall, the sushi was a bit sloppy, but the akami and chutoro were delicious as expected. The white shrimp and flat shellfish were also good. The crab miso tasted a bit artificial, but I still like it because it's unique. They used to have seaweed miso soup on the menu, but I couldn't find it this time. I feel like the prices have increased by about 500-2000 yen compared to before. Maybe it's the times.

Second stop at a Shinbashi night spot, but there are so many shops in Shinbashi, it's overwhelming. Where should I go next? Just when I was wondering, I stumbled upon this place. I chuckled at the mannequin of the president first. The spacious interior has a counter too, it seems like a nice place to chill. Even though I was quite full, I ordered two bottles of beer and some Hosomaki with ikura. Hosomaki with ikura is quite rare. I liked the Tekka Maki and Hosomaki with ikura so much that I ordered more. I also had another round of sake. I was surprised that they are open until morning. Lately, there are fewer places open late, so it was a pleasant surprise. Having sushi as a nightcap and casually drinking is great. It was better than making a mistake at a random izakaya. The location is also good, being close to the station.

"Sushizanmai" is located on the Uomori side of Shinbashi Station, just across from the SL Square. One holiday, around 3 PM, I stopped by without having lunch due to errands in the Shinbashi area. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a large mannequin of the famous Kimura president, as seen in the media. The interior of the restaurant had a few customers at the counter - a group of three and four solo diners, and at the table, a group of four men and women. The group at the table seemed to have some issues, with one of the women emitting a strong alcoholic scent. I sat at the counter and started with a simple glass of draft beer. For starters, I had the spring roll salad, which had a simple yet delicious taste. I then ordered the "deep-fried tuna" before the sushi. Although I make deep-fried tuna at home, the professional touch was evident in the dish. The marinade was not too strong, allowing the flavor of the tuna to shine. Next, I ordered the nigiri sushi, starting with the "gizzard shad." The gizzard shad was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I then switched to a highball and ordered one each of sardine and horse mackerel. Both had a good amount of fat and were delicious. I followed with one each of octopus and squid, which had a unique texture and taste. I had another highball and finished with a tekka maki. The tekka maki was good, but the seaweed flavor seemed a bit weak this time. Overall, Sushizanmai offers delicious sushi and seafood dishes at a reasonable price, along with a good selection of alcohol. It's a great place for a satisfying meal for those who enjoy sushi and seafood.

Sushizanmai Shinbashi SL Hiroba-mae branch is not special, but not bad, just a mediocre taste as of September 28, 2022. The atmosphere is average, with a Foodlog rating of 3.23. After spending a day watching horse racing at the off-track betting site in Shinbashi, it was time for a reflection meeting at Sushizanmai with some friends. The menu offered a variety of sushi and side dishes at reasonable prices, making it a convenient choice. The sashimi platter, steamed clams, fried blowfish, octopus sashimi, salted squid, and sushi platter were all decent, with the fried blowfish being a standout. Overall, the experience was average with a total bill of around 4,000 yen per person. It was a satisfactory place for a post-racing gathering in Shinbashi.

It's right near Shinbashi SL Square. I felt like having sushi. I visited for lunch. I ordered a lunch set with various types of sushi, which was enjoyable. They also serve lunch beer, so having sushi and beer on a weekday afternoon is irresistible. Thank you for the meal.

Sushizanmai, I've been here many times and it's always consistent. The tuna is especially delicious, as well as the seaweed soup, white fish, mountain vegetables, all very tasty. The green onions, seaweed with rice, and skin are not as good as the tuna quality. The sea urchin is delicious. Overall, it's delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had always wanted to go there, so I was very satisfied when I finally visited!! I don't eat sushi much, but I found it very delicious! I would like to try other branches as well! I would love to go to Shinbashi again if I have the chance♪

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend and it was a very lively and great place! It was my first time there and I really enjoyed it. Next time, I want to go with my family and eat until I'm full! I loved the large portions of the sushi, and I want to go back again!

Visited the restaurant on a busy day at 2:00 PM. The interior was bustling. I ordered a seafood bowl, which arrived promptly despite the crowd. The variety of toppings kept the dish interesting until the last bite. The miso soup with seaweed was a refreshing end to the meal.

If you want, including the Ginza area, I think this place is great. The ingredients are fresh, the turnover is good, and the service is full of smiles. As someone who has experienced the difficulty and slow turnover of so-called high-end restaurants in Ginza, I believe Sushizanmai is the best. Just try it.

I felt like eating delicious sushi for lunch, so I walked from Shiodome to Shinbashi. I had various kinds of sushi such as tuna, salmon, fatty tuna, salmon roe, shrimp, eel, and scallop, and I was satisfied! Plus, I also had chawanmushi in a bowl, so I was full and happy with the delicious sushi meal! Thank you for the feast!
