It felt like not using the GotoEat points, I walked a little along the Keiyo Highway from Kinshicho Station towards Kameido, and arrived at this chain yakiniku restaurant. Perhaps due to the location or because it is a yakiniku chain that focuses on all-you-can-eat, there were no other customers for lunch on a weekday. I was seated and was told that orders are made through a touch panel, except for the all-you-can-eat option. I chose the Genki Kalbi set for 940 yen, slightly more expensive than the regular Kalbi. With tax, it came to 1034 yen. The set included various sauces, salad, kimchi, soup, and rice, and you could have unlimited refills of kimchi, soup, and rice, which is great for those with a big appetite. Even for a solo lunch, having a charcoal grill brought to the table is nice. The meat looked visually appealing with good marbling, but surprisingly lacked flavor when eaten. It's like when a troublemaker does something good and gets praised, but when the class president does something a bit shady, their reputation plummets - it's a similar feeling. The rice portion was generous from the start, and I only asked for refills of soup and kimchi due to my age, but they were not bad. However, the satisfaction level with the meat was low. The meat looked delicious, but the taste didn't quite match up. Maybe it's not a good thing when something looks too good. I used points this time to make it cheaper, but for a yakiniku lunch over a thousand yen, the meat was a bit lacking. It might be better to use it for all-you-can-drink or all-you-can-eat.
